Tracks Everything!
I love how it allows you to track everything (diapers, feeds), and with Premium, it tracks the sleep in the SNOO automatically and you can add in naps elsewhere (in arms, in stroller, etc)! The Log feature is sooo helpful for tracking daily patterns so you can sort of plan when you can expect your baby to sleep/feed/be fussy based on the previous day’s data. I just wish it would allow us to choose day start/end time more specifically (like my baby was born at 15:30 but that is not an option in the settings to start her days at).
So expensive for such a glitchy app
Im fine with them requiring an app, whatever but i hate that you pay so much for literally the worst app i have. I could make a better one with no experience using AI. Honestly impressive how glitchy it is, it’s hardly even working at a basic level for me this week, won’t show me a log, tells me baby is on a different level than he is. Hire better engineers to work on this like really
Need medicine and tummy time tracker!
I love this app, but the two things I wish it had were a tracker/stopwatch for tummy time, and also a log for any medications that we’ve given. Our babe gets reflux and has meds and vitamin D and it would be so nice to track everything in one place.
Constant frustration
Not user friendly, hard to find settings. Not responsive, it will usually ignore input entirely but will occasionally (rarely) surprise me and respond.
Annoying premium
This app is good EXCEPT that a bunch of features cannot be used unless you are a premium account. The premium account is not free. As if this bassinet doesn’t cost enough then you have to pay more to view other features. The most annoying part is not being able to view sleep in the log when the SNOO is on unless you are premium acct. And you cannot log sleeping time at the same time as SNOO times. The sleep log with SNOO activated disappears as soon as you turn the rocking off. For me, I would just like to see the amount of time I don’t need to know all the details of soothing and such with SNOO activated.
Love the app for tracking feeds and diapers
First time mom here. We haven’t used the bassinet yet but we live in the app to track feeds and diapers. Best tracking app (for any kind of tracking) I’ve ever used. Has buttons to clock events for you, or you can enter manually. And the timers continue to run in the background while you use other parts of the app. Theyre not easy to accidentally clear, either, which is great. I really like the daily log on the track to visualize the day, too. I also like the charts it produces to show daily progress.
Poorly designed app
The app is not intuitive at all, basically impossible to find settings, and presents useless information above the basic things you need to use. The SNOO however, is a good bassinet.
Love this app although we have a few critiques
With our baby arriving early and a five day hospital stay, the first few nights of tracking everything was very tough as we weren’t aware how useful this app is. Snoo- the Snoo is amazing and having the ability to control remotely is wonderful! I will say sometimes the app will glitch and it feels like it’s at the worst times. The app for tracking - the ease of use is incredible! We love that is almost a one stop shop to track everything! Would recommend adding a tummy time tracker as well though! Our other main complaint is the coloring. Even with brightness all the way down on our phones the blue is very very bright at night when you’re trying to adjust the settings or logging something, this is not ideal when trying to seep for baby from being distracted. If the interface color could change at night with a night mode that would be extremely helpful! The AI tool - very helpful especially in the first few weeks! Mainly keep questioning around sleep as I would get far too worried when using it for more than that. Also make sure to still look elsewhere and cross reference research as babies can vary and not everything it suggest always works or works the best Last recommendation - would love to see a Taking Cara Babies calibration! The knowledge she has is incredible and so helpful, would love to see a course around how to maximize the Snoo with her tips.
Too Many Clicks
The main point of this app is to see the sleep stretches of the baby in the snoo. But it’s so hard to get to that feature - it requires multiple clicks to see how long a wake window or sleep was. It should be possible to click into this directly from the Home Screen, instead of having to click to the zoom in feature. And then getting to different periods of the day is a pain as well. The app has glitched for me a couple of times where it stops showing the sleep log altogether, and I don’t get it back until I log out of the app and log back in. I also think they should add a feature to “go to [date]” to quickly see sleep on a prior date. I find myself wanting to compare this baby’s sleep to my first born, and it’s really finnicky to do that.
ALMOST THERE
I’ve been really happy with the SNOO itself—it’s a fantastic product and has definitely helped with sleep. It’s just a shame they’re no longer sold in Australia, so buying second-hand is the only realistic option. The recent app update introduced a “new look”, but in reality it’s the same app with the same buttons and features. It feels like a missed opportunity to add functionality that parents actually need. A few features I’d love to see: * Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets so you can quickly log bottles, nappies and feeds without opening the app every time. * A health section to store GP, child health nurse, paediatrician and other specialist contact details, locations, appointment history and visit notes. * Vaccination tracking with reminders and countdowns to upcoming immunisations. * Milestone tracking. * A place to record important medical information such as allergies, medications and health conditions. * Developmental activities and exercises based on baby’s age, similar to the Sprouty app. I’m paying for the app, but realistically I’m only using it to calculate the time between feeds and nappy changes. It feels like it could be so much more. Another frustration is the Wi-Fi limitation. My SNOO only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so when I moved it into the nursery it lost connection. I can’t justify setting up a Wi-Fi extender just to use the app when the bassinet works perfectly fine using the physical button. I’d also love to see Happiest Baby release a standalone nightlight and room clock with TOG guidance and room temperature tracking, similar to the Goldilocks device. At the moment I’m juggling multiple apps and devices when it would be great to have everything integrated into one ecosystem. Overall, the SNOO is an excellent product, but the app feels underdeveloped considering it’s a paid subscription. With a few thoughtful additions, it could become an indispensable parenting app rather than just a feed and nappy timer.
Helpful app
We have had a good time tracking the baby’s activities so far in the first week.
Exploitative subscription model
To lock the snoo on the lowest intensity setting, they require a 20/mo subscription (after attempting to bait you into an annual subscription when no one uses snoo for a year at a time). This wasn’t the case a few years back. Very disappointed to see they went this route, and would no longer recommend snoo to anyone.
Good but could use improvement
I’m quite happy with the chat bot and the general use of the app. Wish you could edit the nursing timer (I always forget to turn it off!). Also wish that single hand use was taken into account with navigation placement (zoom button on timeline is hard to reach!!). Blog has helpful content but would prefer to read over watch videos as I don’t want the sound on while breastfeeding.
insanely greedy subscription and a privacy nightmare
despite the snoo costing nearly $2,000 the company is now gating device features behind a $150 subscription! absolute corporate greed, avoid this product at all costs. device requires location services to simply connect to your snoo, which is a blatant violation of apples developer terms of service.
Data availability
The data that can be recorded is good. However, with a baby with weight gain issues, being able to export the data would be a better feature. Attempting to share feeding (nursing and bottle) and sleeping records with a health professional is very difficult.

Unethical business practices
$14.99 a month or $150 a year to fully operate a bassinet that already costs an arm and a leg, and the gall to suggest that I pass that on as an expense to my HSA? You are not a pharmacy or a medical institution. You do not have the right to lock features away behind a paywall and racketeer parents whose children can’t sleep on your vanilla settings. The amount of expletives I wish I could fill this review with wouldn’t be enough to express a new parent’s rage. A blight on you and yours, Yev.
App is fine, few quality fixes needed
Snoo’s are great products, since they only get used for 6 months… And brand new snoos come with subscriptions, it makes sense for the app to be a subscription, how else does this company survive. Whats need in the app is more responsiveness and ability to turn off things you don’t want in the logging. Ie: no nursing, no pumping when there is no breastfeeding, no solids when not at that stage etc
Locking a level requires a paid subscription, how shady
After spending an insane amount on the bassinet, locking a certain level in the snoo should be a standard feature. What a money grab, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Love Snoo, but the app needs serious improvement
I’m a huge fan of the Snoo and the Happiest Baby approach—it’s been a game changer for helping our newborn and young baby sleep longer stretches. I also appreciate that the app tracks sleep sessions so I can spot patterns over time. That said, the app experience leaves a lot to be desired. The sleep charts are confusing and often inaccurate, especially for tracking total or nighttime sleep—I constantly have to scroll to “All Data” just to get a usable view. The new personalized Home Screen is also a step backward. It doesn’t even show when the Snoo is running, which feels like a basic oversight. I don’t mind paying for the app, but it’s disappointing to see such poor UI/UX decisions coming from a company with such a stellar product and a reportedly large team. I hope they prioritize meaningful improvements soon.
Mind blown
Hesitated to let my wife turn on the snoo, but after 18 days of 2 -3 hrs of sleep I gave in. Turned on the snoo for the first time with our 2.5 week old in it and she passed out in 3 seconds. Now she is sleeping in solid 3 hr blocks, we amazed at the effectiveness of this unit.
Most features locked behind monthly subscription
It is unacceptable for a hardware device this expensive to lock basic settings like what sound to play and how fast to wiggle behind a monthly subscription. Want to put real value add there like access to nursing oncall? Fine. But nerfing basic hardware capabilities is anti consumer.
Poor quality for price
At the price they are charging for “premium” features, the app feels low quality. Why does level lock not work when the motion limiter is on? And the preview window that shows the “current” mode often lags and is therefore inaccurate. Sometimes the up and down arrows just don’t work. Why does the “motion start level” actually set a new minimum level for the session? These are issues that should not happen with an expensive subscription to use an already expensive device. My experience with this app while renting a snoo will most likely lead me to chose another kind of smart bassinet for my future children.
Sooo Slow
Snoo is great but the app takes soo long to connect when you need to adjust settings as you cannot do it from the base unit
New Diaper Category Wanted
I like the app and I love using it to take all my diapers and nursing etc, I would like to see a category in the diaper section for “dry” so it shows I checked the diaper but it was dry My baby camera nanit has this category but I like your app for my snoo this update would be very appreciated
Terrible design flaw and unfair return fees!
The SNOO bassinet is horribly designed when it comes to hygiene. You cannot remove the mesh to wash it, which is completely ridiculous for a baby product. To make matters worse, when you return the bassinet, they will charge you a fee if there are any stains. It is incredibly frustrating—if they didn't design the bassinet in a way that allows it to be properly cleaned, how can they justify charging customers a penalty for it? Because of this flaw, these bassinets are always just dirty. I highly recommend looking for something you can actually wash!
Log functionality is broken
My wife can somewhat see the log on her phone. I cannot.
Average UI with appalling bait and switch paywall
Was absolutely shocked to find that this super expensive bassinet that worked well for our first kid 3 years ago now has all but the most basic (on / off essentially) functionalities hidden behind a an even more ridiculously expensive paywall. If I could do it again, we never would have bought the snoo to begin with.
App SUCKS!
Great technology but the app is delayed in communicating with the SNOO. Please fix it! Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. And we all know time is key when there’s a screaming baby
Removed functionality
App no longer logs sleep automatically. The fact that this company REMOVED a feature I used with my first child and locked it behind a paywall for my second child is the worst kind of action a company can take it consumer relations
Updated app has a lot of bugs!
I used to love this app, but after the update there are so many bugs that make it much more difficult to track your progress. For instance for the pumping tracker, the bar chart shows ~50oz one day, but when I tap on that bar for details, it says 7oz pumped that day (actual number is closer to 50) Also the dates on the x-axis differ from the date shown when you click into the bar. Furthermore the bar charts don’t make any sense (e.g., a bar with 48oz is significantly taller than one with 53oz) Additionally, it no longer shows annotations for the amount above the bars in the chart making it difficult to track progress at a glance, without tapping into each individual day.
App doesn’t work
Can’t login can’t reset and I have a subscription.
Inconsistent
When the app works it is great but at least 60% of the time it can not connect to the snoo and it can not tell you why. Even when it does connect it can randomly disconnect while using the app. Worst off it doesn’t tell you why it can’t connect it needs work.
Thieves
You buy a $1700 item and they still want $20/mo…… capitalism at its finest.
Paywall
Honestly, I find what they paywalled egregious. Instead of making new features or a new snoo with better hardware, this company decided to charge existing users to change the volume on their bassinets. Shame because we liked it.
