Puerto Rican dialect
It would be great if this app had the Puerto Rican dialect. Please add a Puerto Rican dialect.
Wrong Spanish
This game literally gives you options for words that have multiple answers and penalizes you for it. Work on the language aspect before releasing it with the game. Wrong answers doesn’t help a single soul.
Amazing app, premium is overpriced
I will start by saying that a premium membership is not necessary to use the app. But without premium you have a limited amount that you can play each day. You have to watch ads to replenish the “energy” you have for language practice sessions in order to progress in the game, and there are a limited number of ads you can watch per day. When I first started playing, I would run out of all the day’s ads within two hours of playing. I decided to pay for the premium month-by-month for now, while the game is new and exciting and is grabbing my interest so much. I will say that the way the game practices language learning works AMAZINGLY for me. It really helps you practice every day without feeling like a chore. My main issue is that the premium is overpriced in my opinion. It’s either $10 a month, $60 for a year, or over $100 for a lifetime subscription. When I think of the fact that the average game on PC or console costs $20-60, I can’t justify paying such high prices for a yearly subscription or over $100 for lifetime use on a phone app. I understand that it’s a small team, but I think you’d get more people buying premium if it was cheaper. I would love to buy premium for my friends, but it’s outrageously expensive to even pay for my own premium, much less anyone else’s. I really wish the price was lower. If premium can’t be cheaper, then don’t limit the daily ads so much!
Farmstead less productive, more frustrating
So I have been playing this game to help learn Portuguese. I am doing this without the premium option. I completed the adventure side of the game by reaching level 100. This side was great. The dialogue from the characters was a lot sometimes, but the challenges were really good and kept me actively learning. Now I am playing on the farmstead side. This side is not so good. I know these kind of companies want you to buy their premium options because everything costs money nowadays. I get it. But I watch the adverts to get the energy rewards, but with the limit of 4 watches a day, it is impossible to keep up with the tasks of the farm because the llamas don’t get enough energy for everything that they’re asking for. It’s a shame because this side of the game feels less about the learning of the chosen language. I am spending more time making food orders to get xp to be able to move onto the next level. The xp on the food orders are not even that high so it takes such a long time to move on. I think there needs to be an increase in the number of videos that can be watched. I’m not sure if I will bother continuing with the farmstead side. It just feels unproductive to the point of the game, which is to learn a language.
Awesome but am i learning?
This app is awesome, it's more motivating than any other language learning app I've used. I LOVE that there's no ads unless you want them, and that the language practice is made by real teachers instead of ai slop. But, i have a 57 day streak and I feel like I haven't learned anything? The format for practice is very easy to guess on. On the spelling ones, which should be the hardest, i can usually guess what the word is supposed to be based on the letters i have. It would be great to have more varied practice, like making us type the answer without getting the letters. Or for example instead of just "the keys are on the table" every time, maybe the keys are somewhere else and we have to fill in the blank. Talking to the villagers in your target language would be cool too, to have a back and forth. Idk

Nothing crazy but keeps your mind working naturally while using repetition to learn new phrases and words.
Need more languages
I downloaded this app because I saw a Tiktok about it and how amazing it is, but when I downloaded it there was no option for Arabic which is the language that I am trying to learn I feel it has so much potential but really does need more options for languages I only gave a 1 because I want the Lingo Legend team to see this review and please add some more languages!!🙏
Game is great in every way but one
Please for the love of god change the character design. It’s really crippling, the pets are fine but the noseless poptropica design is just not it. Subjective obv, but I feel like the gear and characters are pretty generic or even bad while the rest of the game shines. If you could clean up the aesthetic this would be the best game on the market.
Watching ads doesn’t replenish stamina
I like the premise and this app seems promising, but i don’t like how i tried to watch ads 3 times to replenish stamina and it didn’t work. I don’t mind watching ads to get stamina, but when it doesn’t work it limits how much you can do in this app.
Dyslexia challenge
It would be so great if you could change the font. When you're spelling a phrase out lots of the letters look the same until you see them in a word and realise its not a "u" its an 'n' (upside down) or "p" looks like a 'q' (mirrored). Some fonts are more dyslexic friendly. Also there's an instruction that I can highlight a phase that I'm having difficulty with but I am not a gamer and the instruction didn't make sense to me. I couldn't figure it out. Over all I think there's too much assumed familiarity with game formats. I really like the language drills though, and that I can set the amount of repetition before leveling up.

Where’s my Norwegian
Please please please add Norwegian I’ve been learning it and recently found you app and thought it was cool but you guys don’t have the language😭 I would really appreciate if you added that language and others to get a bigger audience as well.
Great bones with areas for improvement!
I like the structure of the game so much that I’ve bought a membership! But some things I’ve noticed now that I’ve played a couple hours that could use improvement on. 1. Language units: I’m working on Chinese and I’m not sure if it’s just because Chinese is the less popular language to learn here but the greetings unit isn’t super comprehensive. It’s giving you phrases to memorize but doesn’t teach you the vocabulary for each word. Like good morning is zao shang hao, I know hao is good from a previous lesson but I don’t know what zao means or shang means. There’s also no way to know from the vocab cards either. They should implement different pre testing modes, like picking out the individual words to make up the phrase. 2. Vocab cards: I think there should a library that builds up the more words you learn. There’s a custom library thing but that just requires me to manually move over words. This kinda ties into the first point too because if you learn the individual vocabs first, you can also put them together into phrases and it’ll be easier to recall. These phrases can also be put in the library after you’ve learned them. 3. There should be an option to flag a word that you’ve learned but can’t recall on the spot. So you can go back to your library and flag the word to be put in the learning rotation for something. 4. There should also be a test part that tests you on the words more effectively than just giving you the choices or having you spell out the Ping yi. But maybe that’s a later unit and I’m just jumping the gun. 5. This is kinda a nit picky thing but I wish the decorations could be placed closer together. Like the maple tree has a big placement surface area and it’s annoying cuz i can’t place flower patches closer together to the tree and it looks a little sparse and unnatural. Overall the aesthetics of the town building could be more refined. Either way great experience so far and hope improvements happen frequently!

Nice Game
The game started out great; cute animations, challenging tasks. Some buildings had to be added to the play grid, but they are only decoration. It was good enough for me to buy the game, which turned out my biggest mistake. Now I played through the game, and it feels “done”. Yes, I can still practice my language skills, but there are’ r enough levels to justify to buy it.
Wish theyd add more languages !!
Great app for learning !! I find it fun and engaging but wish theyd add more languages commonly used but not as popular, my partner speaks tagalog and ive noticed it actually very common to hear people speaking it anywhere so ive always wanted to learn it but alike lingo most apps dont include it :(

Really fun, all the features are well thought out and executed. The only reason I rated this game four stars is that it had a lack of language options. Please Lingo Legend team, if you’re seeing this, add Swedish lessons into the game!
French Needs Work
I paid for a lifetime subscription and I am getting more and more frustrated with my decision by the day. The French course needs a lot of work and the staff is not taking it seriously.
I suggest adding a "none of the above" option.
When I select English as the language I want to learn, I need to pick my native language. The only choices are French and Spanish, and I speak neither. I have to choose one of them to proceed. Alright, I’m just going to pick one randomly to proceed. Therefore, I suggest adding a "none of the above" option.
Adorable game
I really like how simple this game is, and it has a good system for teaching Japanese! it’s super fun to play, and reminds me of being a kid again and playing prodigy math. I can tell they put so much work and care into this, and there’s not a speck of AI in any of the artwork which is amazing to say the least. Thanks for the team behind Lingo Legend for making this awesome game! I love it
Child Exposed and Traumatized
I’ve played this game for a while and thought that it would be a perfect game for my young nephew. It had bright colors, a cool farm simulator and adventure simulator mixed into one fun game. It’s a game that would be perfect for children! My nephew downloaded the app and I was there with him when we went through the tutorial, and soon we were having a lot of fun and ran out of the daily energy! The app allows up to 200 extra energy if you watch ads, so we clicked on the watch ad button. There were two ads. The first ad was totally fine, something that would be targeted towards kids. The second advertisement, however, morphed my kids face into terrified confusion and mine into astonished disgust. It was an inappropriate ad of women doing things I cannot say on this ad. My CHILD nephew was just exposed to an 18+ advertisement. Upon further research online, this was NOT the first occurrence of an 18+ ads coming from this app. My heart hurts for any other child who may have been exposed to things they should not have been. I know it may be hard with the cruel people who try to be clever with their ads to make it slip through, but please CRACK DOWN on these ads. This shouldn’t have to happen. I don’t think I can stomach having this app anymore.
So far, so good!
I haven’t been playing long, I’m only level 3, but I do feel like I’m learning and in a fun way! The premium costs are monthly and way too high, I’d happily pay a higher one-time price for premium content with possible micro transactions along the way, but without knowing how long I’ll play it, it’s too much to commit to for a monthly price. I am enjoying it, but still on what seems to be the first lesson. Will certainly update my review as is reasonable.
Fun but
It’s really fun to play the game but there’s the issue it’s more of a game and less of a learning tool. I’m left confused as to why there’s so many inefficiencies, why have a write it feature and not have the ability to write it when you get it wrong, when you have adhd the inconvenience of having to write it when you get it wrong is really good motivation to focus and pay attention to what you’re selecting. Or at least a review after you get something incorrect, The daily quests aren’t scaled to how much time you want to spend playing each day, but a random gamble if you can finish it all during your breaks, or fun study session. Where’s the reward for mastering a card? I’m not asking for a major thing but maybe a few ludos or a nice looking animation that only plays when you complete the card, or maybe a chapter master reward, something fun to push you to learn more but not punishing you for not learning fast enough, so it different from just playing in review mode only but not overly challenging when you don’t have the energy to learn something new but still want to review. Ultimately it’s a game that you can practice with but it’s easy to get distracted by completing quests and such.
More languages
It’s a great app. It makes the learning fun and easy which I enjoy however they don’t offer a whole lot and the one language I want to learn they don’t have available. I really want them to add Norwegian to the list as I would like to keep learning with the app.

Incredible Setup, One Bug
Absolutely love the way everything is laid out and how the learning is weaved into different aspects of the game, BUT I get this bug every 30 min or so where I can’t progress past a mission complete/next step screen. Would be a 5 if not for that, especially because the devs don’t use AI as far as I’m aware!!
Good...
But there needs to be an option to watch more ads for energy. You can only watch about 4 before you can't anymore. Also the naalas are not random. If you breed one they all look similar for a while until eventually a different combination happens.

Learning for All Ages!
This app gives learning a new language adventure! My household has been using it for about a month now and we can have simple conversations in Spanish! Very kid friendly and great for those that struggle with learning a new language!
Mid at best
Was okay. They really push you to pay for their premium but it’s not worth it without a free trial because you don’t know if you’ll get bored or get locked out of the game. Oh yeh. The game stopped working after a few hours and I had to delete and reinstall. The fact I had to do all that already means it’s not worth even the free version
Can’t play with my friend
Down one star because while this app supports me, an English speaker, learning Mandarin, it doesn’t support my friend, a Mandarin speaker, learning English.
Not enough languages
Sadly, the language I want to learn is not listed. I guess I’ll just keep my Canadian French current until they add the two I want
Good concept but…
I chose Korean. I know a lot of vocabulary already but struggle with verbs. Your questions classed me as Unit 4, verbs. But the 3 first chapters in this unit are teaching me basic vocabulary like man, boy, baby… which I’ve known for years. While the game is cute, I am not sure how helpful it will be since it is not teaching me what I was classified for.

I’ve been trying to learn Japanese! And I keep getting answers wrong, like how am I gonna remember all these hard symbols!! I can’t get anything right, I recommend to “NOT” download this app as it’s a waste of time, and very hard to learn anything, even google translate is better then this
Great Game for Learning but..
This game has really wowed me so far in terms of the amount of detail through the lessons and the way it’s made very fun with the storyline! That being said, I find it a shame that once the energy is out (including watching all ads) that you have to wait 24 hours as it limits playtime! Premium is not on the cards for me right now money wise too. That being said this game is great and deserves such high ratings! Thank you for all the hard work!

Pretty decent
When it comes to language learning apps this one is pretty polished and engaging, I enjoy it. I had to give it a 3 star though because if you miss a day or (3 in my case) and start to forget it is very challenging to get back into this. Just feels like this is something that was maybe missed, it doesn’t ease you back to where you were. Would love to see that implemented
Engaging way to learn!
I’ve tried just about every language learning app out there, and this one surprised me. Lingo Legends somehow makes studying feel like playing a game instead of grinding through flashcards. It keeps me coming back, which is half the battle with language learning. I’m studying Mandarin, and I’ve noticed I’m recognizing and remembering Chinese characters much faster than I was with more traditional apps. The combination of gameplay, repetition, and progression just clicks with the way I learn. No app is going to magically make you fluent, but if an app can keep you engaged long enough to build a daily habit, that’s a huge win. Lingo Legends does exactly that. It’s earned a permanent spot in my language learning routine.
App doesn’t open
Every time I try to open the app it would have a black screen then close out the app. I think it would be a great app but since I can’t open the app I have to rate 1 star.

Great game but..
Fantastic game, and a great concept but very expensive. I realise that a lot of work goes into creating apps such as these but I feel perhaps the energy system could be a bit more generous. 50 energy max that fills back up throughout the day in gradients ? 10 per hour or something ? I’d love to be able to afford to buy unlimited on the game but unfortunately it’s way out of my price range. Would gladly watch some extra ads etc to up my energy easier though as I realise the app needs to make money and nothing comes for free. Other than that though the game Is fantastic and excellently designed.
Phenomenal
I rarely leave ratings, but, this app truly deserves one. As an avid language learner and Duolingo user, I can say that this app is super effective for language retention. I love how gamified it is; you can truly see all the soul and work the creators put into it. I have only used it for 2 days SO FAR, but it’s truly great. I would recommend it to anyone learning a new language!
needs work
i chose my options for the language and skill level and then tried to sign up on my apple and it froze. tried to change to sign up with my email and it froze again. closed the app and tried to restart but now it just says loading and goes to black and does nothing
Great app! Needs offline mode.
I don’t usually leave reviews. But I love this app. Its gameplay and progression makes me log back in and study more than apps like Duolingo. It just needs offline mode where I can predownload lessons and it would be 5 stars!
Really fun but extremely limited
The app is really fun & I haven’t seen any issues yet which is impressive since my phone is a really old model and usually runs terribly. The game would be a 5/5 if I could afford membership. However, as a free player I’m extremely limited in how much I can do each day. Energy doesn’t recharge passively but instead resets daily, which is a shame because at 15 total energy I can sometimes only do one mission/lesson a day. I’ve tried watching the ad to get more energy but after watching one, I get told there’s no more ads available to watch. EDIT: App crashed on me & took my energy without being able to finish the level. Effectively unplayable for any day this happens.

The games are amazing but i wish you could have all your 20 cards accesible when u battle cause i feel like the cards they lucky lick you arnt relevant and setting you up for failure 🥲😞
