This was a very fun game to play! Started it once a long time ago but, didn’t finish it! Thanks for the walkthrough because it helped me finish it this time! Lovely story
not even the full game
be so fr you have to pay to do the rest of the game after completing like two puzzles. Waste of my time tbh.
Good value game
Short but enjoyable. A good warmup for the excellent Silk
Missing stone ring
I like this game and the graphics but I currently have 4 rings and need the 5th to complete the puzzle. It is no where. I have looked at cheat sights and see it on them but not in my game. I’m assuming there’s a glitch which is frustrating. Wish it would have worked correctly because I have really enjoyed playing it up to now.
too short:(
loved the game these games are my favorite type of games and silk was seriously the best game ever but I feel like this game was just too short. It was over way too quick. The ending just came out of nowhere. It definitely would’ve been better if it was longer and just had more puzzles.
Great job!
I don’t leave many reviews but this game was great! Fun, easy to understand, and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
👎...Wish the Developer would Respond to a "Help me..."
UPDATE #3 ...well, here it is April of 2025 and I am still waiting for help from the Developer, but so far, nothing -- Very disappointing and imo, this is actually just frustratingly nonexistent support. Buying this game was a total waste of money... 💸💸💸💸💸💸 👎 UPDATE: 2) My first email to the developer was apparently missed so I sent a second email including access to the requested game play video clip of the problem. I am pasting in the accompanying message here as well just in case the developer misses my second email and needs to know it was sent and what I said: "Greetings Manuelamisani, Thanks for responding to my posted comment requesting help with properly moving the key in the lock issue that I've been experiencing when trying to play Sand. A thought occurs to me as follows: it would be good if the game could be updated to allow players to skip puzzles when this sort of thing pops up. I'm not a gaming perfectionist and would be happy to just press a skip puzzle icon instead of having to spend time getting help troubleshooting game play problems -- plus, in the long run it might help boost sales as well as possibly save you some time too. Anyway, you requested a video clip of my failed attempts -- here it is: In case it's relevant, please note that I was not at any time able to fully insert the key all the way into the key hole of the lock." *********************************************************************** 1)This review is about an issue that has kept me from playing the game. During October, 2024, I reached out for help but so far the Developer has not responded to my message: ................"I purchased Sand recently but sadly, I am stuck, unable to get the lock pick to successfully work. I have referred to the related symbols, then watched the related Pixlab YouTube walkthrough section to see if that would help me get past this puzzle since I'm getting pretty frustrated trying to move the pick as shown and by now I'm not having fun (which is why I bought your game). Anyway, now I just need your help, please, so I can just get past this issue and continue playing. In case it's helpful, I'm using an iPad that's running iPad OS 17. ...Thanks in Advance for helping me get past this now annoying problem."
Way too short
uch longer with more puzzles, and some had more difficult animations. Rusty Lake games, Five BN games, Forgotten Hill, AE Mysteries, etc. If you paid it was optional for hints or to buy more keys to unlock the next chapter which you could watch ads for them as well. I only paid because I wanted to help the developers.
short. not worth $2
good game but way too short. you only get one level and then have to pay for the other 2. very difficult if you like that sort of thing but it is definitely not worth paying $2.
was really good
it was a really good game, i was super bummed out when i only got to play 3-5 mins of actual gameplay then was told i had to pay for the rest
I LOVED IT
I love point and click adventures, and I don’t usually reviews but I had to leave a review on this game cause for some reason it’s not getting the love it deserves!!! I felt super immersed in the story and I personally think the developers did an amazing job! It’s hard finding point and click games with actual story compared to just basic escape games, and this one does an AMAZING job!! The story has so much depth and it left me wanting more! It was absolutely worth every penny!!!! I’m gonna go play the rest of your games now, you guys have a committed fan!😁
Terribly dull — I wish I hadn’t bothered.
See title
Gorgeous Illustrations
I would have rated it 5 stars but I didn’t like the ending. It felt rushed and disconnected.
Okay
That was it - I should have read the reviews. At best it was okay. Nicely constructed, puzzles too simple, but okay. A coupe of hours play at most. There are much, much better games out there for the same or similar price.
Good but SUPER short
I found this game late. It came out years ago. The update said “first chapter free” so I decided to try it out… At the end of the first chapter, it prompted me for $1.99 to buy the full game. It’s only $2 so who cares… I finished it in literally 11 minutes after paying the $2. Seems a bit short after paying. Like why bother? Give it away for free at this point. I would’ve looked for other games by you but now I feel cheated. 🤷♂️
Great game
Thoroughly enjoyable game.
Game is not free
This game appears to be free until after the first chapter
Great game but disappointingly short
The art for this game was beautiful and the puzzles were pretty fun, but for a pay to play game it ends much too quickly. I know this is more of an indie game so I’m not mad it was $2 to play through, but it felt like the story ended abruptly and the ending was rushed.
Unplayable glitch
I have an iPhone 17 with the ios 17 floating island at the front facing camera, which means that when I am playing, the arrows to turn to the left are completely inaccessible. The "back arrow" is in line with the swipe-up bar, so that's annoying too. There were no left turns like this in the demo portion so I had no idea before purchasing. Seems fun but too frustrating with the UI not accounting for margins.
Too short
Too short for a paid game. Fun puzzles and adventure.
Sand and Silk
I thought Sand was fabulous and then my sister and I played Silk. The ending of the first was one type,b ut Silk was an even better ending! We’re both looking forward to your next one!
IMPROVE THE TRANSLATIONS
the transitions between rooms are just incredibly laggy & pretty detrimental to the gaming experience… cant you just make it smooth? besides dont be so crafty and just warn people at the beginning that theres a pay wall you are just playing a demo…
Fun and enjoyable (though some unnecessarily difficult parts)
The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. After playing the demo, I fell in love with the art style and puzzles. I happily paid $1.99 for the full version. I only "simplified" 2 puzzles, but that was because visually they were hard to distinguish (the beetles puzzle + the numbers square puzzle). Overall, a fun puzzle game (with actually challenging puzzles) with an interesting premise (though the ending felt rushed). The most difficult part of the game was trying to find the hidden objects in random rooms! One of the rings you needed in a puzzle was in a corridor hidden by complete shadows! And a flask you needed to clean a mirror was placed amongst an already completed puzzle. It was unnecessarily frustrating to look up a tutorial of the game because I literally couldn't find what I needed to progress. The hints were just "you need to find the object"- boy, I know, I do! Where IS the object, hint? If the company releases another puzzle game (a sequel could be fun with the open ending), I would happily play it. Just made the hidden objects easier to find!
Aspect ratio problem’s
I am playing on an ipad mini and was enjoying the game until I hit the beetle puzzle that needs the translation notes. Problem is, the letter “t” on the notes is not visible on my screen so I can’t complete the puzzle. I’d like my money back.
Good but too short
The game is good, once you played the first few puzzles, you have to pay for the rest and you expect countless puzzles and chapters but before you know it, it’s over. It feels like the game was cut short. I liked the game but wouldn’t have paid for it if I had known it would be so short.
Like It’s Name
Like its name, Sand is sometimes hot, other times soft and then sometimes hardened. Quick and enjoyable.
It’s cute but short
I even bought the extended version but it was only like 2 more acts the lack of game even after them making you purchase is kinda rude
Fun puzzles with a captivating tale
Great built-in help system, puzzles that can be changed to easy if needed, interesting story. Short but worth the small price.
Um.. What?? That’s it?
So I started playing and almost immediately hit a pay wall. It irked me because I don’t like it when developers do sneaky, shady, stuff like that, but it seemed like a game I would enjoy, so I paid up. I got through the whole thing in less than an hour. That’s it. The whole game took less than an hour. The puzzles were ok. Not too easy, not too hard. I did have to do two of them on “easy mode”, but no big deal. The story was very lacking in detail. It was frankly, dull. There just wasn’t much to it, and the end was very abrupt and anticlimactic (which isn’t surprising because the whole story was anticlimactic). The graphics and music were good , and the few puzzles there were, I enjoyed. It was just so incredibly short and boring for a PAID game, I was very disappointed.
Pretty, but meh..
I only played the free portion which took about 5 minutes so I can’t speak to the paid part of the game. It’s really pretty - I love the art style - but the paywall came way too early in my opinion.. Based on other reviews saying the whole game is under an hour long, maybe that explains why? I’m not willing to pay for a game I’m only going to play one time, regardless of how good the game is. It seems like a puzzle/story game should be longer and ideally give you more of a demo or better explain what all is included in the full game? It seems this is a first game from this dev so I’m excited to see their future projects as there’s definitely some strong potential here.
Great story and game
I found the artwork to be great and the music truly relaxing. Puzzles are very rewarding and if you choose you can switch to the easy mode. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Well done by both the artist and the programmers.
just a demo
i think the title of this review speaks for itself. but you don’t get to play the whole game. you get to play for 2-5 mins and then it’s locked behind a paywall
Great game but just a bit shorter than expected
I thought these puzzles were great, challenging but none that left me feeling like I needed to give up. Only thing that could make this game better is if it were longer.
Bug, can’t advance
In the room with paintings on columns (stomach, etc), I’m supposed to use my brush on dust but I no longer have a brush which it says I am lucky I still have. If there’s no brush in my backpack then how do I use it?.
Enjoyable but very short
Fun game but completed it in about an hour and a half, could do with a few more levels
Great game. Stunning graphics. Fun and different puzzles
I replay enjoyed this game. It only were the puzzles interesting and different they were a good challenge I had t seen before. The graphics are also very well done. Highly recommend
Not worth it
The transition between rooms is very odd and choppy. Despite that i kept going thinking it was fine for a free game but then i hit a paywall. You are able to do one quick part of a mission before hitting a paywall. Considering my short mission i didn’t buy and really don’t think it would be worth it all
Thoroughly enjoyed but..
Magnificent! Great puzzles, stunning artwork, beautiful music, realistic dialogue and storyline. 4/5 because the ending felt a bit abrupt. The rest of the review is a spoiler, if you don't want tree end of the game spoiled, STOP READING HERE. Spoiler I took one star off because the story delves into reincarnation, gave it back because that's my fault for not reading the information on a game based on ancient Egypt, then took it back because the ending feels really abrupt.
A Decent Puzzler But Woefully Short
After enjoying the free first “level”, I thought I’d pay the £1.99 for the full game, expecting a good few hours of puzzling. Around 30 minutes later, it was finished. Very disappointing. Try the similar “Legacy - Lost Pyramid” games instead. Far more bang for your buck.
Too difficult
Can’t figure it out from the clues given
Awesome
Loved it! Nice job
DONT DOWNLOAD UNLESS U WANT TO PAY
you have to pay for the full game. you get one “level” then are told to buy the rest of the game. not worth downloading unless u want to spend ur money.
Good but story was short
I bought the full version and really liked the art style and game play but it felt like the ending was sudden and needed more to it. For purchasing the game I felt it could have been longer really wish there was more to it
Super short not worth money
You literally pay £2 for an extra 20mins of game play absolutely not worth the money
Help
Stuck in the tomb idk what I’m missing but I can’t crack the ring puzzle on the door even with the two paper hints as well as the puzzle by the door after putting the lens in with the markings.
Excellent hand-drawn point and click
My favorite kind of game, well worth the 99 cents, unusual puzzles, just the right level of difficulty.
Disappointed - don’t download unless you plan on buying
No where in this does it say that it is a free trial or a demo, very upsetting that there’s only 5? Minutes worth or game play before you have to buy it to play anymore of it. This isn’t a free game with in-app purchases it’s just a straight up buy the game.
Loved but the ending
I loved this game, felt like the puzzles were a good level of challenging. Paid for it. But the ending was so abrupt… the whole thing you are working towards doesn’t even really happen, disappointed in that, could have had more puzzles to get out of the trap set by the theif and complete the mission plus the end story line.
Interesting but very brief
I always like this type of game but this is all to brief, a couple of days tops. I would ask for a refund but at less than £2 if I don’t perhaps the creator will take heart and offer more.
Seemed brilliant but super short.
Ancient Egypt, intriguing story, looked great, simple movement, interesting puzzles, fair price point. Then it ended after about an hour. Imagine if Indiana Jones found the Lost Ark at the end of the first scene. It was like that. It could have been soooo good but instead it was soooo short.
