Grandiosos
Hace años los juego y son buenísimos ! muy buen juego !
Sliding puzzle impossible
Sliding puzzle can’t be solved. It’s mathematically impossible. Wasted a lot of time on it before got it. Also too much ads and look like poor copy of rusty lake games
LOVED.. Except for 2 things
im usually not a person that likes jumpscares or creepy things but lately ive been wanting to play games like these. only took me less than a week for both parts it was that good!! the puzzles are pretty hard (for me they were, it’s different for all people) and the game was filled with adrenaline rushes and minor jumpscares. There is two things that I didn’t like about this game. First, THE ADS. walk into a room? Ad. open a chest or drawer? Usually an ad. Second, (spoiler sorry!) at the end, when we have to sacrifice a newborn, I had no idea I was going to do such a thing. Maybe if there is ever a third part of some sort, please don’t add something like that. Me being a Catholic was NOT expecting a sacrifice of a child for my freedom 😭 other than that this game was super fun and highly recommended by me.
Ads way too frequent.
I couldn’t get into the game as every minute or two an ad would pop up. I couldn’t be bothered playing it enough to see if I would pay for the game. Uninstalled and I’ll avoid all from this developer in future.
Hints Annoying
Have gotten 6 hints. Every single one is something I’ve already done.
Difficulties
Unique point and click adventure , some puzzles are easier than others, hints are expensive, pop up ads are annoying and frequent. I definitely needed a walkthrough in parts and patience to get through the ads.
Sliding puzzle
The sliding puzzle is impossible to solve - please fix
Decent Escape Room Game
A fine game, nothing particularly bad to say about the puzzles or any of the game content. Though, few small issues I have. One, the ads come out of nowhere and don’t have any warning, and considering the game has jumpscares this doesn’t feel good. Second, the scares don’t make sense for the game and have no buildup. Third, if there’s a story behind the puzzles I really couldn’t tell. There isn’t anything indicating a deeper story.
Too many ads
I do enjoy this game, however, there are WAY too many ads.. and thats without the option to buy the full game (which I’m prone to do btw). Not only that, but when you go back into the game from going out of it, you seem to lose your progress and coins. Wish I could rate higher.
Second section
I paid for no ads and part 2. In the middle of part 2, after stopping, I tried to get back into the game and the continue button is disabled. I did reboot once but it happened again and I am not able to finish the game I paid for.
Hard yet Rewarding.
Wonderful game and the ending !?0-0
Why does an game that clearly has no online features require wifi?
It’s genuinely so stupid. What are you trying to do, steal our data?
Very enjoyable
Good puzzles but some pixel-hunting. Worth the ad-free fee.
review
bruh to much ads
No aceptable
Buen juego, pero muchos malditos anuncios, anuncios de hasta 1 minuto cada 5 minutos, jodanse culeros
Almost perfect
Full of puzzles and riddles, it’s one of the best in the market. Ads are a bit annoying but you’ll be amazed of how challenging this game is. At some point I thought there was a lot of information to deal with at the same time, but it quite makes it interesting. The storyline is not that great, but the game itself is worth it. A lot.
Substantial amount of ADs and plays roughly
This game feels like it had the art added with a dash of coding and was sent out to produce a quick buck. Absolutely no love or care was taken in it’s development. I saw another review stating it was reminiscent of Rusty Lake which this game is nothing like.
Game is fun, but not the ads
The game itself is great. The ad method used is horrendous. Nothing kills the immersion of a game worse than having ads pop up randomly when you switch screens. Especially when you’re trying to remember a code as you move to where it’s used.
Good game spoiled by adverts.
The game is good but gameplay spoiled by frequent adverts. I paid to remove ads but it didn’t work. I’d prefer to pay more upfront in order to remove ads and access hints without having to pay multiple times. So have deleted app.
Kind of generic and too many ads
It is more of an I-spy game than escape room or puzzle. My main discontent is that it has a ton of ads and the hints are not up to date with progress. That is to say, it doesn’t matter how far into the game you are when you need your first hint, the hints will start at the literal beginning of the game.
:)
It’s perfect I love it!💖💗
Demonic violant
Baby sacrifice is in games now!? Not ok with this
Great game, some clues too tiny to see
A great point and click escape room game, but I echo the comments of other reviewers that some of the items and clues are incredibly hard to see because they are either too blurry, too small, or both. I will say I had an easier time with the second part.
Ehhh
Ads like every 2 min. I can see after every 10 min or so but it disrupts you from the game. Hints aren’t very useful. You have to click on things a good amount of times before it opens up. I love escape room type games and this is ok.
Great concept but a few issues
The concept and artwork from this game is really great. The ads every few minutes really interrupt the atmosphere and considering there are already black bars at the top and bottom, banner ads would be better for this kind of game, then full screen ones for hints. Issue with hints is that they’re not connected to game play properly. I kept getting hints for parts I’d already completed, then having to watch more ads to get to hints that might be useful. Some sections are a little bug-y too. I watched a play through of this game where someone played on the windows version, and there were certain aspects missing in this iOS eversion. The box of matches, and the dot dash code for the centre line of the 5 tile puzzle were both missing, and I also ended up completing the game without ever unlocking the cupboard to the far right in the lab. Gameplay was fun when not interrupted, and I did really like the art and the games whole vibe, it’s just the ads and the missing aspects that take away from the experience.
To many ads
Really good game just to many ads.
Looong ads. Ugh.
The ads ruin it. Not worth waiting for them to be over.
A fun game
I like how this game reminds me of Rusty Lake and the creative details. Some of the details that are hidden can be too small to read. That needs to be improved but overall it’s an addictive game. I hope there are more games in the near future.
Meh
Kind of a rip off of Rusty Lake - even some of the same images and puzzles (that deer’s head?). Glad it was free, at least. Some of the puzzles were impossible to solve bc the clue was the same color as the background or too tiny to read.
Decent game, but not worth downloading
I downloaded this game because I was looking for a new escape game series to play. And diary of darkness part 1 was good. But I couldn’t finish part 2 due to an issue with the game not allowing me to continue if the game ever exit itself or if I exit it myself, and there is no button to force it to save, so with this game having some nearly impossible mini games, I deleted the game, as there was no way I would ever be able to finish it
Review
Very nice game. Quite challenging but rewarding when completed.

Good game
I really enjoyed this game and would’ve given it five stars except for two things. One is that the hints are worthless. It gives hints for things that have already been found/completed. The second is the ads. I know that some ads are necessary for the game to be free, but the amount of ads when switching between rooms really got obnoxious. Otherwise, great game and worth playing
My version is defective
This game was good until I realized I can’t progress past the mirror/candles puzzle. The game does not let me select the mirror and does nothing when I click on it to get closer. Didn’t figure that until I was wasted 7 dollars on hints. Super frustrating.
Didn’t make it very far
It has a lot of potential and I can’t complain too much since it was free. But I quickly got stuck and deleted the game. I watched a video to get a hint and the hint it gave me is a step I’ve already completed, so it was no help at all. Too frustrating for my taste. I play a lot of escape games and this one has a Rusty Lake vibe to it, which I love, just wish it wasn’t so difficult.
Did you see Pennywise…
…do you float too?
Pretty frustrating
I really want to finish the game but it took me a whole day to get halfway through the 2nd story and I went to bed. When I woke up, all my progress was gone and I had to restart from point 1 all over again. I can’t help but just not enjoy the amount of unnecessary puzzles there are. The jigsaw puzzle in the 2nd part is rigged. you cannot solve it based on what piece is in the corner. Anyways the game was definitely not enjoyable but im sure some others will like it.
Fun - but a little glitchy
I really enjoy the puzzles in this game; they're really challenging but not impossible. I kept experiencing a glitch with the sliding puzzle and would have to close down and restart to correct it.
Would rate higher if the items/clues were visible
I really wish I could see the items but they are WAY TOO SMALL, even on my iPhone 14. I had to quit playing.
Matches BUG!!
There are supposed to be five matches for five candles… but it was hard to light so I kept tapping on each candle. And only four were lit and I have no matches… I came so far and was stuck in there… Okay game but a lot of items are really hard to find if your screen is small. I enjoyed the puzzles tho.
Excellent game
Really good game! Some bugs, but others must have been fixed as I didn’t have the same issues as others have reported. No trouble picking things up (once I knew where to look lol). The heart item did reappear but it didn’t affect gameplay. The game is challenging for sure and the hints, sadly, aren’t really helpful as they often gave hints for what I’d already done. Thank goodness for the online walkthroughs as I def needed help with a couple of puzzles and with finding all the items. You really need to look CLOSELY to find all the items and they’re easy to miss. Wonderful creepy atmosphere reminiscent of Rusty Lake and Forgotten Hill. Overall a great offering and I look forward to more games of this type from this dev! Thank you!
Terrible like all the other iOS escape games
The first part of this game looks like a ripoff of a Dark Dome game. Basically the same puzzles! Dark Dome doesn’t make iOS games tho so nobody has noticed I guess? Rife with spelling errors. Even the very name is misspelled! “Diray”?? I’ll stick to the games on my android phone thank you…
Fun, but…
This was reminiscent of Rusty Lake. It was dark, had decent puzzles, and was fun. However, many of the clues are so tiny, that they couldn’t be read, or seen. I had to resort to a walkthrough video to find clues, and even then, I still could not see them. They were pale colored, blending into the rest of the surroundings, and so small that you couldn’t make out what it was. There was no way to enlarge the area, without taking a screenshot, then zooming in on that. Even then, because of faded colors, it was still a bit difficult to see. Once again, even the help videos only pointed you to the general vicinity of where an item was located, because if you didn’t click exactly, in the correct spot on that clue, it wouldn’t select the clue. I’d give this game a 5 if not for these, and similarly related problems. Besides that, I’d love to play more like this
Ads ads ads and no way to buy out of them
Most annoying game with constant interruptions for some rather disgusting game ads. Too much pixel hunting for obscure inventory items. It does remind you of Rusty Lake except that Rusty Lake games are great.
Lots of tapping
I am a big fan of rusty lake games and escape games in general. This one had lots of potential with the story line and layout, but I feel like it just fell short. If you are out of games I’d say play it, but I feel like it was lots of searching for tiny things rather than making you think and solving puzzles (though there still were some good ones). Overall not my favorite, but for a free game not all that bad either.
Loved it
I really loved this game so challenging but I managed to solve it the end was 😰😰😰
Issues
It was fun, but I had a lot of issues with items not being where the walkthroughs said they were. And it seemed like there was no walkthrough that was exactly the same which suggests to me a lot of problems from other people. The hint system also needs work. Preferably a way to get specific hints.
Tricky but awesome!
This was an especially difficult game. The puzzles are tough but the satisfaction of beating it was excellent! I hope they come out with more soon.
Game…ok. Hints…..not okay.
The game itself is not bad so far. But the hint system is horrendous. It seems to give random hints (after watching an ad, of course) that sometimes include things I’ve already done in the game.
Fun but glitchy
I really liked the play of this game but I ran into a few problems. 1) You have to tap EXACTLY on the right spot, and I mean EXACT. It was frustrating because I was correct in a few instances but gave up after the endless tapping. It wasn’t until I looked up a walkthrough then went back over it a few times that it just happened to work that time. Yikes! 2) You can’t really close up on a lot of the clues. I have a brand new IPhone 13 Pro, so details shouldn’t have been a problem, but they were. 3) The hints a kind of useless 😂. I love a challenge, but when you are stuck and the hint is simply circling an item you already have or a puzzle you’ve already solved, it’s very unhelpful. 4) It’s very glitchy. The sound stopped working completely mid game. After getting stuck on a puzzle I went to open a cabinet and the item that was already used and gone was magically there again. Then, nothing I tapped worked at all. Finally, I tried to report the bug in the settings, but it was glitching so bad, I couldn’t! I ended up having to delete the game completely and try to reload. Like I said, I loved the play of the game. These are my favorite kind of room escape games and since I had already played all the Rusty Lake Games ( the best) I was crazing something similar. I would be on board if these little adjustments were made for a more enjoyable play.
