Great Little Game!
Was going through my old app downloads and came across this gem. I decided to give it a re-download and see what it was all about. I was definitely happy with that decision and with my $1 purchase for definitely some creative and fun puzzles! The hints were helpful without giving too much away and I had a blast. Would recommend to anyone who likes puzzles, escape rooms, etc.
Greedy
Bro I just want to play this game but you guys just have to be so god dang greedy! :(
Great Game For Going Insane
I had a lot of fun with a lot of cursing involved in completing this game. I was fine with paying .99¢ to be able to access the elevator… that last puzzle room took me almost 3 hours to beat and that in-game video game is so hard, it’s the only achievement I didn’t get.
Convoluted
Enjoyed this at the start, didn’t even mind paying for the full game.. but the puzzles were so ridiculously confusing with no real explanation and it sucked the fun out of the game, having to go look up how to just understand the puzzles. Anticlimactic ending too..
Okay game but purchase to complete
Was good to start however now I’m not just “playing a puzzle game” which was my initial intent….I’ve gotten to a point where I’m either FORCED to pay a shadily placed purchase to continue or stop playing…I won’t be playing any longer or paying money to continue…after reading reviews 6 years ago I see the devs said they were going to work on removing the purchase to continue however that’s not the case…and because of that I’m uninstalling and not finishing this game which is a shame because I was enjoying it but being FORCED to pay to continue is shady and weird either just charge for the game or make a paid pt2 don’t force us to pay to finish a free to play game. Shady and not cool.
Fun Escape Room Game
I really enjoyed playing this. It wasn’t too easy nor was it too hard. The hints available were just enough not to give it away but to guide you towards the right answer. Definitely worth the dollar to upgrade to complete the whole game. Would love to play more like this one. Do you have any others?
Confusing and not in a good way
Deleting app after playing the opening level for a bit. Normally with these types of games, if something is in a room it’s a part of the puzzle. In this case, there are so many useless things scattered around. It’s impossible to tell what is gameplay and what is merely set dressing. High tech gadget? Nah, just some background detail. Tiny letter opener? Yeah you need that, best hope you see it amidst the clutter. Also, best hope you don’t accidentally tap something like the coffee cup, otherwise you’ll be forced to watch a completely useless animation and wait until it’s done.
Can’t Watch Ads for Lift Tool
I love the game, it’s amazing, but you HAVE to pay $0.99 to actually finish the game. I didn’t even get the opportunity to watch the ads for the Lift Tool, and the offer section says that too beat the game, you do have to pay. Other than that hiccup, this is one of the best puzzle games I’ve found. I loved what I could play.
Really?
Cant complete without buying in app purchases
Fun game but
You have to pay $1 to advance in the game. Wish they told us or made it ad based
cool
this reminds me of the time i was locked in my storage unit over night
You have to pay to complete the game
Paywall that prevents the game from being completed. It's not clear that you *have* to pay until you get further in
Almost 5 stars
Was a decent game and I enjoyed it until the next step was to get the lift feature. You can pay to get it without ads or watch it, which I didn’t really mind because the quality of the game was amazing, but annoyingly, it wouldn’t let me watch it which meant the game stopped there. Please fix this bug because it makes the game completely inaccessible
Retroactive paywall
It would be 5 stars if they didn’t remove the free method of obtaining the lift tool. It also would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t there to begin with. The only reason this is 2 stars is because it was there, and then they REMOVED it The game is currently paywalled on progression when it used to not be
Bugged
I finished the puzzle for room 588 and didn’t get the car part, please fix this issue
Top notch escape room
Takes a while to find your bearings. Not always obvious what the next puzzle is. The puzzles are worth it! Very creative and unusual. Had lots of fun. We want more!!!
don’t waste your time
you cannot finish the game without buying the full version - spent time to complete the game just to find this out with not alternative!!! this info should be up front or this should not be a free app in the App Store. Plan on spending the 99 cents or don’t play at all
A cute little one off game
I really enjoyed this game and I only wish it were longer or that there was a sequel out. The game costs $0.99 which I feel is a very small price to pay for an engaging puzzle. The puzzles were really creative and engaging to do, my favorite was probably the maze. The graphics are simple, but cute, and make for a lot of small details and hidden nooks to look in. I really liked the ‘hands on’ approach to the puzzles that other games don’t always take, the small details really make it fun. The puzzles weren’t too complicated or too easy and I only had to check the hints twice, once being something I missed. The final puzzle was challenging but satisfying to solve. I hope this team makes more games like this in the future. 4 stars just cause the cost isn’t really disclosed until you start playing, and also cause I wish it was longer
Enjoyed but paywall
Enjoyed the game but the inability to complete without a purchase really annoyed me. Deleted because of the shady tactic. YouTube says you can click the remote on the shelf in workshop but seems to be removed.
won’t let me purchase full game
I’ve played the game before they removed ads but now that they have been removed i have to buy the game which im willing to do but when i try to purchase the full game it wont let me unfortunately
game is a 10/10
.
Really Bad
I got this game, gave it a try, 5 minutes in I got to the paywall. When I looked at the description, it said the paywall was near the end of the game. Don’t waste your money on this 10 minute game, get What the Golf instead. It’s ad-free and supports hours of play.
Great! But…
I love the vibe of this game. The graphics and the way you interact with objects is near perfect. The only problem I have is repairing the lift. In the game, to repair the lift (which unlocks a part that is critical to beating the game) requires either purchasing the full version for a dollar which is fine. Or you can watch not 3 not 5 but 10 ADS! That just seems a bit much for unlocking a critical part of the game. And also after 3 or so ads it won’t let me watch anymore for an hour or so. I would be fine if the rest of the game unlocked with 3 or 5 ads but 10?! Now the game alone is worth the $0.99 simply because of how good it is and I’m glad it’s not a subscription like other games to disable ads. Overall, this game is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun puzzle game to play in their free time. The only problem I have is the ads.
Would be fun
It would be a good game if it wasn’t locked behind a paywall
disappointed about the update
i was enjoying this game but i was very disappointed to learn that they took away the feature that allowed you to watch a ton of ads in order to finish the game. now the only option is to pay and i am definitely not willing to pay for the very end of the game that will probably only take like a minute. especially considering how short the game is, it feels pretty silly to me to pay for it. and honestly i feel like they would make more money off of the ads people would watch than they are probably making off of people actually willing to pay for such a tiny portion of the game.
Very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this game. You just need to be observant and examine each room carefully, many answers and hints were on the walls. If you can interact with something it’s either part of a puzzle or a hint to a solution. Be sure to rotate objects you can pick up. I only found a couple of the puzzles to be a bit difficult. Easily worth the price. The built in hint function gives the actual solutions to the puzzles, which I didn’t like so I looked up a walkthrough that told what room to look in for answers and the mechanics of the puzzles without giving the actual solution. The walkthrough did have buttons after the simple hints that would give the complete solutions but the simple hints were all I needed.
Actually a waste of time
I understand that everyone needs money but this is a puzzle solving game why do you need money to finish the game. I was very interested in solving the puzzles and fixing the car but towards the end were you need to fix the lift or elevator you need to buy a lift tool in order to proceed. As future advice don’t charge people money for a game that has a very bad ending that no results or rewards.
Can’t watch ads
It’s an amazing game but whenever I try to watch an ad to get the lift tool it won’t let me, please fix!
Wishing I didn’t have to pay to get certain things to play??
I can’t finish a level because I cannot access it without having to pay???
Bring back ads for the lift tool
I know this is a small group of people and you need money to make this happen but I LOVE the game and would watch any amount of ads to get the lift tool. Also I encountered a bug where the code in the steam room won’t open the door, I double and triple checked it’s the right code and it won’t open. Thanks for reading my review 🥰
This is a good game!
Went back through my purchase history to try & find games I liked that I don’t immediately remember — this is one of them. People get their panties in a bunch about price & hints — it’s called Google people! You can find any walkthrough you want
why do we have to pay to win???????
:)))
Somewhat fun, isometric gameplay is problematic
First isometric game I've played and I find that it's rather cumbersome to deal with, always having to rotate around to go back the way you came. I generally enjoy this voxel graphic style but in this game it winds up resulting in some ambiguos and hard-to-decipher clues. The room 588 sequence is rather difficult to get a handle on; but I enjoyed the one in 637. Overall the atmosphere is pleasant, including the rather interesting callback to "Stranger Things" in the soundtrack. It's well worth the money spent for the full game but I think I'm done with isometric puzzlers.
Man oh man
What to say…hope you are ready to buy the full game to progress further would of been nice had the devs let us know before hand but they hid it with needing to fix the lift with the lift tool
Mid
The amount of levels you can play is limited by the amount of “keys” that you pay for or watch an ad for. The excessive, repetitive ads get in the way of enjoying the game. Also, the currency you collect to use hints quickly runs out and once again, the only way to continue if you get stuck is—you guessed it—paying or watching ads. The game was okay, but there wasn’t anything brilliant or innovative about the escape room concepts. It’s the basic “move the pillows on the couch to get a screwdriver” kind of stuff. I guess it could be fun if you’re new to escape rooms, but if you really want an exciting and interesting challenge I would try something else.
Found A Bug
When resetting game progress in the laboratory (after using portal) screen continues to jitter.
Halfway done and I have to pay??????
If I could give it zero stars I would. I’m beyond annoyed. I’m going through the game solving all the puzzles. I’m stuck on repair the car part. You have to fix the lift in order to get the part of the engine missing. You have to pay for it. I’ve been playing the game for a solid 20 minutes or longer and I thought I was almost done and you have to pay to finish the game. That’s just straight ridiculous. WASTE OF TIME DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!
Well Thought Out
Very enjoyable and well thought out. A nice blend of futuristic and nostalgia.
Pay to win
You won’t be able to complete the game without either buying the lift tool or watching 10 ads in a row to get the tool for free. I didn’t realize this until after playing for a couple of hours. This needs to be made clear from the beginning otherwise the dev is wasting people’s time. I opted for the third option which is deleting the game.
The whole is not very coherent
I just found this game, saw all the amazing reviews about it, I’ve played many puzzle games, I love them. This game has a very nice art style and language, and the controls are simple enough, but really it wasn’t really enjoyable to play, and the reason why is mainly because the object selection wasn’t so precise, and the going from puzzle to puzzle was generally very linear. For most of the game there was only one path forward, and if you missed that because you didn’t find the next step because you clicked slightly off the game’s programmed very narrow target box for that object, you were stuck. Basically unless you want to just click like a madman with abandon in order to find the next relevant object, you’re going to have a harder time going forward. Which doing that basically just takes the fun of solving puzzles out of the game. So many times throughout this game I ended up looking hints up online because I thought I had tried all the possible options, only to find out I had to go back to something that yes, I had clicked on, but apparently not exactly in the precise spot the game programmed it to, so it wouldn’t come up to my inventory. I don’t know how I feel about not being able to add things to the inventory until you’ve come to need it after discovering the use for it. On the one hand it’s nice because I feel like that’s more “realistic,” instead of just randomly putting everything you come across to your pocket just in case, but I feel like this further reinforces the extremely linear dynamic of this game. The puzzles are also very numbers based, equations, patterns, etc. This can be good or bad, if you like number based puzzles than I think you would enjoy the puzzles themselves. If you don’t, which I don’t, then you may want to pass. Overall if I knew the playing experience was going to be this bad I would have never downloaded it, so I can’t recommend this game based on its design. It’s a cool concept, but I think it’s executed very poorly and the story is too shallow. I almost think it would have done better without a story and just presented entirely as a series of room puzzles. Having a story set up expectations that there would be resolution of that story, which there wasn’t.
Really fun
No ads, the full version of the game isn’t required to beat it, the puzzles are fun but not impossible, and everything wraps up nicely!!
You have to pay?
When I tried to play the game I could not do end this because you have to pay for a lift tool other then that you can only press stuff and you have to pay for the full version Either there’s something I’m missing or they’re just lying to you
Nice, works great on iPad Mini 1
Could really do with pinch to zoom out instead of tapping the arrow all the time. Perfectly smooth on iPad Mini 1 with visual effects turned off. Thanks for supporting this device. Full version of the game is nice and cheap too.
Nothing to do
It’s boring and hard to finger out not suited for nine year old bc of how boring this game can be please 🙏 make this game better!
Good but…
In order to get to full version of the game you either have to pay or watch 8 ads. Just watch the 8 ads, right? No. Despite the fact that the game can give me automatic ads, it won’t let me use ads for benefits for like 5 minutes. The full game… is 3 extra rooms. You can’t beat the game without those rooms, and the game is too short to bother paying. Again, you’re going to have to wait for the game to decide you can watch another ad. One achievement requires you to buy the full game. Puzzles are incredibly confusing and I needed to look up the answers multiple times. After hours of work, you finally get to the end… Your reward is seeing your character drive the car you’ve been building. You don’t control the car. You just watch your character having fun while credits roll.
Wonderful puzzle game
I started playing this after the ads were removed, and it was the easiest dollar I’ve spent in ages. You get through more than half the game before you need to buy the rest, so you know whether you want to keep playing or not. You’ll want to keep going though.
Buggy
Puzzles are majorly confusing due to the fact that even when you have the correct items, you keep getting the same message saying you don’t have the correct item. You have to tap Wildly all over the object and then sometimes it may work. Has potential but the devs need to fix this game breaking problem
Great game, could be longer
Very impressed with the game, it’s challenging and racks your brain for a few hours. Seemed really short though would have loved it to have other stories etc. to make it a little longer. But overall a great game.
SOUL-DESTROYINGLY DULL
I got as far as the ‘game’ that you complete by clicking on a series of boxes in numerical order.
Few issues
It’s really good apart from it won’t let me place the car parts on the table. Also I can’t find the book for the book puzzle even tho I’ve looked at the clue, it’s just not there. Other than them two issues I loved this really fun
