The puzzles and progression are great, the difficulty is fair, and the visuals look good. But dying out of nowhere at the end and being forced to restart from the beginning? That completely kills the whole experience.

A very nice game! Somewhat reminiscent of Rusty Lake games :) I liked this very much. My only complaint was that certain puzzles in chapter three were slightly annoying due to not having context/explanation and not being very intuitive. Overall very nice!

Really well done game
I enjoy these types of games. I’ve played many different versions of them. I just found the Strange Case series and I am working through all three. This was obviously the first one I did and I thought it was very well done. It was extremely challenging, which is something I find rewarding. The only feedback or criticism I can come up with was the ending of this game. It felt abrupt and it appears there are various ways this particular game could end but the player doesn’t really get a chance to do it without replaying the whole chapter. The mechanization/Code of the ending is a bit sloppy.

Cool Game
This is definitely a cool game. It’s free, no bait and switch. The tips are worth the reasonably timed videos you have to watch, or you can pay the few dollars to go ad free. Considering the time to write and code the game they pet together a great game that is more than fairly priced. If you’re super clever you can skip the tips but I tend to need them from time to time. Also to anyone that posts walkthroughs, it’s really not cool to take away peoples source of income after they have put hours of work into a game and make it free. If you visit a walkthrough site you should at least donate to the developer. Anyway, thanks for your his well put together work, I will play subsequent games when they become available.
Confusing don’t bother (spoiler)
Literally got to the second level couldn’t figure it out and when I checked the hint it said there was supposed to be a desk? What desk? There’s nothing there. I already paid for the app and it basically useless without that piece so waste of time/money.
Pas mal mais la musique…
Bonnes énigmes, c’est clairement le point fort. Mais l’histoire n’est clairement pas assez présente, dommage il y avait pourtant matière. Mais le gros point noir: la MUSIQUE ! Mon dieu que c’est mauvais. Ça se veut oppressant et ça l’est mais pas du tout dans le bon sens. C’est répétitif à en devenir un peu dingo. Ça ne sert pas du tout le jeu bien au contraire (j’ai fini le jeu en la coupant pour vous dire…) Donc bonnes idées de base mais de grosses lacunes qui nuisent fortement à l’ambiance général de ce jeu qui semble du coup mal fini. Dommage

Great game
Finished the current games as of writing this, 1-3. I love the art and story, but the puzzles and hints could use some work to make them more logic based and intuitive. They're also quite short which is disappointing because I really want to keep exploring the world and characters. Also, the chemistry puzzle in 2 can soft lock you, forcing you to watch an ad to skip it. My issue is not the ad, but the lack of a reset button to allow you the satisfaction of solving it without help if you prefer. Regardless, i recommend all three and cant wait to play further Strange Case games! Thank you dev(s) for creating another fun game in my fav genre!!!
Can’t finish
Dunno what sort of bug I ran into but in room 3 only one of the pictures on the wall gives me a number, the butterfly never appeared (so I can’t get the item involved with that) and I’m at a stand-still. Hints just show me things I don’t have or can’t get. I’ve even read walkthroughs and since the butterfly didn’t show up I’m stuck and can’t proceed further. Guess I’ll just delete it now. Disappointing.

끝에 찾아보니까 타이밍 맞춰서 쏘는건데 너무 늦게 뜨기도 했고 이때까지 그런 순간이라곤 바퀴벌레 썰 때 뿐이었는데 어케 아냐구요... 그냥 막 눌렀더니 죽음 ㅠ 시작하기 전에 먼가 알려주셨어야죠... 이걸 처음부터 다시 하라구요? 뭔가 분기점 저장이라도 자동으로 되게 해주시지... 찝찝하게 게임 삭제합니다 진짜

Very good game, if you want a game to spend hours and if you like puzzles this is for you, I love the game, the only thing I would like to see added is a better guide or help on how to solve the puzzles since Chapter 3 is quite difficult but very good in itself.
Rip Off but still somewhat fun
The people saying this is a rip off of rusty lake are right. Same art style. Same kinds of puzzles. Same eerie story and same kind of jumpscares. The only thing is, the story is so lacklustre and the puzzles don't make much sense. The music is also so annoying and repetitive. The hints don't help at all.
Good puzzles but way too short for the price
There are other escape rooms that give a lot more chapters for this price.

Hope the connection between the clues can be more smooth. For now some usage of the tools or clues just take experience in these kind of games or wild guess, but there’s no hint in the scene at all.

FAKE CUBE ESCAPE
Ugh I do not know why I paid for this game. I thought that this game was somewhat related to rusty lake! Aka Cube Escape. Is is just a copy or is it just illustration team that works with lots of app developers? (I think they just copied the art work.) I mean rusty lake have great story lines but Alchemist? NO. just NO. I want my money back ... thanks for the walkthrough tho. But they ask for A LOT OF COFFEE MOENY DURING THE GAMES AND THIS game was not fun either do not buy. 사지마세요 러스티 레이크 큐브이스케이프 따라한 게임이고 광고도 많고 중간중간 계속 돈달라고 합니다ㅋㅋ 깨는데 너무 지루하고 재미도 없고 스토리도 없고 재밌게어렵지도 않고 허무맹랑한 느낌
It’s good but…
It’s good but at the end of chapter 2 the dungeon door glitches and it won’t let you go into it or at least it didn’t let me go into the door.
Demonic possession
I was very excited that I had found another escape game, since I finished all of the other ones multiple times. This one was pretty good, and I liked the setup of hints and optional ads. It mentioned demons so I (also being a Christian) was a little wary but wanted to play it anyway. I was getting a little uncomfortable in chapter 2, but by the end of chapter 3 I powered off my phone completely. This is witchcraft and demonic possession!! This is a serious thing, and not a game!! The benefits of this is that I learned to keep my eyes open and listen to my instincts. I hope this is helpful, and wish nothing but good on everyone.
Good but...
Loved the game really fun but only took a half hour and the game never finished it just said new chapters soon also I don’t get the backstory there needs to be more detail if your going to end the story there because I don’t really want to come back if I don’t care about what happens next. But really fun gameplay 😁

Love it, but can be hard to know what to do
I ended up downloading this because I love it on “Crazy Games” and I want to see if I still could beat it. However, I only beat it thanks to the official “how to” videos. There are some puzzles that are not so obvious on what to do, example the puzzle that gives you the brain in chapter 2. I am glad that there is an official guide on YT for every chapter. And then you can skip the eye puzzle in chapter one if you know/remember the musical note puzzle(quarter, eighth, quarter, sixteenth, eighth, sixteenth)
Crashes my I-pad at the start of chapter 3
I was thoroughly enjoying this game. I even paid for it!!!!!! At the start of chapter 3 after solving the trapdoor puzzle it just bombs out back to my home screen. Not impressed.

I downloaded this game as a last chance I was just tired of childish ez escape rooms that had no real fear or mystery in it. I finished the game in less than 24hrs and I’m already going for the second part The Asylum. I’m so excited to see what’s gonna happen. There’s a dark deep mystery in this game I promise you won’t get bored or else. plus there a few scenes that may make you lovk your phone and sleep lol. just download the game the creators deserve donation so I say do it as a thanks to the creators for creating such a thriling and thought-provoking game! <3
Total rip off of the Cube Escape series by Rusty Lake
The style, artwork, music, and puzzles are all incredibly similar to Rusty Lakes: Cube Escape series. I was looking for similar games to play while I wait for the next game from Rusty Lake, but this is practically copyright infringement

Really creepy and interesting, love these type of games I just feel some of the puzzles are a bit illogical but the walkthrough video is super helpful so it’s not terrible at all! Wonderful overall

Disappointed but largely ok
Started ok, puzzles were interesting and I was enjoying it so paid for the ad free when prompted. Got stuck shortly after, tried the walkthrough but you need a YouTube account to see it! So had to find another. Got a hint and carried on but the ‘puzzles’ soon became a matter of either finding tiny objects somewhere (runes) or having to press just the right pixel on the screen. On 3 occasions I checked the walkthrough only to find I was in the right area but had to tap repeatedly to find the special pixel eg. knife used on side of chair, opening the drawer with the key. These are not puzzles, they are laziness masquerading as difficulty. It is so frustrating when you ARE on the right track but it’s made ‘harder’ by making things difficult to find. Then there’s the chain! Could I find it after I had cut it? No! Tried everything I could to find it/pick it up. Even after checking the walkthrough to check that the chain was needed for the scales I still could not find it. Then I did find it, in my inventory! I just could NOT see that there was anything there and I found it by accident. Maybe I’m just blind but I think that there could be a better way of knowing what’s actually in your inventory. Finally the x-ray puzzle. Well, even with the walkthrough I couldn’t do it. Followed the patterns, no joy. Followed the actual order of finger presses (including mistakes) and it worked. Still don’t know why? Could not understand where the patterns came from or how I would know what order to press for the 3 patterns. Baffled. Did I miss something obvious or was that just the most ridiculously hard puzzle? And then, I’m told that the next chapter is to follow. Well, sorry but I’m disappointed. Well done for making the game and taking it this far but please be honest up front. Tell me that it’s unfinished. Tell me that it’s a game that involves finding tiny objects or special pixels. Then I won’t be disappointed. Now I have to keep checking for updates (no I don’t use notifications or auto update and no, I’m not going to start for the sake of this). Apart from the above frustrations, the puzzles were relatively inventive and not too hard generally (except the x-ray). A hint system is much better than a walkthrough so that would improve this game a lot in my opinion. The clues were generally logical and objects weren’t too taxing to find the use for. But sometimes there seemed to be no clues or logic as to what was even needed, or where you might look. Will wait for the update and give it another go.

It’s alright. Storyline is awful.
The storyline is awful. The design is alright. The hints are semi-crappy. No detail on how to move some things so you can’t figure out a puzzle if you don’t know how to move the pieces. Somethings randomly go together. Others are a little easier to figure out. Yes the story line is weird. I read a review about demons. So what bring the demons on ahaha. It’s a game. I’ll try the second game I guess I’ve very bored.

So short. Kept asking me to pay. Then begged for a review. So here it is. Way too short, and you even asked for £6.99! Which I’m glad I didn’t pay. Not impressed. Took 20 minutes to play.
