Have always had a good experience using Sim Local
Voice not working 99% of the time
I have bought couple of eSIMs for me and family for our holiday; however, you can’t guarantee that voice will work, line will just not go through most of the times. Barely you will be successful and be able to do a phone call. Called the customer support without success. I don’t recommend and will never buy from sim local again.

Coverage
It has a good coverage in Europe but DO NOT use it for Dominican Republic, no coverage no internet and calls don’t connect at all, there’s a automated message when you dial and then disconnects. It was a waste of money for it

17 dollars for 70gb (15 days) working well on LycaMobile Fr. Comes with a local number and the ability to extend if needed. Good rates and a solid connection. Sharing it with the family via mobile router. Recommended.
Can't receive SMS code to register
Was told by tech support here that my SMS codes are being blocked by my cell provider. I'm in Canada with Virgin and never had this happen before. Other SIM providers allow for SMS codes to be received not just through cell, but WhatsApp and email.
Be data aware
The service is good but beware of background apps and auto tethering. That eats away at your data.
Data bought doesn’t match data used SCAMMY
I ran out of data so fast, which is odd because I bought 10 gigs…with this I used it up so quickly 😟… I checked my data usage in my phone said 5 GB used but the ap showed all used. I bought another ten Gs now my phone shows I used 6gigs but tell me why the app says I only have .5 gs left. This company is dishonest??? Scammy- I don’t recommend it

Die alten Karten bleiben bei mir nach Ablauf unter „meine Karten“ und wechseln nicht zu „vergangene Karten“. Ich kann alte SIM Karten auch nicht selbst verschieben oder löschen. Das sorgt nur für Verwirrung. Das könnte besser gelöst werden.
Easy to use
Used sim local a couple of times now and never had any problems with it in the states only problem I had was because of bad airport WiFi and no internet connection via my contract and although the problem was nothing to do with sim local they went above and beyond to help me. I’m not a tech person but you set up and activate when you reach your destination.
Try something else
Purchased unlimited data plan, which promised 4G/5G. It has been 3G or less for the first week now. I had thought it was just the area I was in, until I spoke with other travelers who had alternative plans - they were totally fine!!! 5G, was able to load pages 10x faster than I was able to. Really frustrating as this was not cheap. Tried to reach out, but it took over half a day for network to ask me to confirm the same information I already provided. Then I was told by agent they would need to hear back from network again. By the time they respond again, my trip would be nearly over.

Soo good! And easy to use! And i like how u can do network selection to pick the faster provider. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t come with a temporary number
Cheap but frustrating UI
Frustrating as I have no idea how much data I’ve used. When it ran out I could not see how to top it up so just got a new eSIM. The whole user journey is complicated

Activate only once IN country
Nowhere does it say so BUT do not activate until arrival - i activated twice on plane before departure and both times the sim failed to work on arrival and I had to buy another. When it did work it was good and also good value compared to EE’s exorbitant charges!

Filters don’t work
Select a filter and you can’t get back to the main app screen. Can’t close the filters screen and have to exit the app…not a good sign.

I used eSIM while traveling in Sri Lanka. It worked very well and saved the hassle and fiddling around to swap physical SIM cards. The plan I used was reasonably and competitively priced. I will certainly use eSIM again and recommend the use of eSIM.
Best eSIM Service
Very simple and easy app to use. Huge amount of service countries. Most have no speed reductions on unlimited plans. Just would like to add in the app the ability to purchase more than one eSIM at a time.

Took over two hours to activate. After only a day, the service quit working with plenty of my usage left. Customer service was unresponsive and I was not able to restore service during my trip. A total waste of money. I ended up using a different service for data only.

A scam, don’t waste time or energy
This service does not work and you will become embroiled in a WhatsApp chat with people who do not understand even the smallest of issues. After a sim would not install they encouraged me to reset network settings and I have since had my original number wiped out due to their incompetence. Three hours of my life I will not get back in an exasperating chat, a mess to sort out when I return to the UK, and still NO SIM. A disgrace.

Worst eSIM ever
I have used different eSIMs over the last few months and by far this is the worst one. I bought it at 9pm and it worked for a little while. I was on the WiFi from like 11pm so imagine my shock when I wasn’t on the WiFi the next day and the sim just stopped working. I tried contacting them on WhatsApp sent them screenshots and after a whole day of trying they turn around and say it’s because I had used the whole 5gb in TWO HOURS the night before. Mind you I had bought a different eSIM to contact them same amount of GB and yet that sim is working and somehow I managed to use their data in 2 hours. Don’t bother with this sim just stick with Saily or Airlo less trouble. When I asked for a refund they even stopped responding to me actual SCAMMERS.

Paid for service, never received confirmation, never got a refund
I paid for the service (aprox 48USD), and never received an email with confirmation. I’ve tried numerous times to solve this with the support team (via phone calls and via WhatsApp), whom the promise will escalate my case to a customer support team, and I haven’t received any news or support, or a refund. Would rather use Hola Fly or Airalo. Terrible experience, zero customer support

I live in the US and used this on a trip to the UK. Definitely the best prepaid Sim I’ve used. The instructions are clear, the app works well, I had no problems using it and coverage has not been a problem.
Terrible coverage total waste of money
I can’t believe I used their awful product twice! . First I used the eSIM in southern Chile. I had coverage for exactly one day. Customer service was slow and unable to fix anything. I bought a second eSIM when the first stopped working so I went ahead and used it in Santiago. No joke, they have zero coverage in the capital city! Their customer service is awful and even if the coverage was great they are overpriced vs what you can buy on the streets here. I deleted their app and won’t throw an more of my money away with them.
