Everything is actually really great with this app when it comes to finding what we need. However, there is just one option I’m really struggling to locate and I believe it is because it’s not on here at all or else I would have found it. Please add overdraft protection to this app so that we are able to manage and view details included in this option…
Error messages
Always like clock work this app has issue read balances from Friday to Monday every time. It doesn’t process charger on Friday till Monday. If it does it messed up and not correct.
4.5 stars, but could be even better with two fixes
This app works well and for the most part does everything I need. But there are two things that even after all this time still prevent me from giving it the full 5 stars: 1. There's no persistent login. Even just three minutes would be helpful! *Every* *other* financial app I use allows one to exit and reopen without having to log in again for at least a couple of minutes. Why this one continues to log users out immediately is a mystery and a real irritant. 2. The bill pay list cannot be edited, only added to. Having to delete by computer is not nearly as convenient. Fix those and you get 5 stars.
No good
This app used to be ok but lately it is terrible. It will never update my available balance. It just keeps spinning and showing my available balance from days ago. We are considering switching our business account to another bank.
This Bank and App Isn’t Great.
This bank and application leaves much to be desired. It’s not as bad as Wells Fargo. My bank used to be Summit Community Bank before B&H bought them out. I was very dissatisfied when I heard this news in early spring 2025. I wish they allowed a certain number of free ATM transactions per month, like Summit Community Bank allowed. This bank lacks in convenience concerning their locations. Summit used to allow five reimbursements per month from whatever ATM you used. They understood that they were a bank that understood that they were located in very rural regions.

I have NEVER had a problem paying my Church when it was Bank of Delmarva and when it was changed to LINKBANK. As soon as I made a payment to my Church it was done within an hour or 2 and the money deducted from my checking account. Burke Bank can’t seem to do it electronically bc I was told as a result of algorithms. I am very UNHAPPY AND DISAPPOINTED with this new bank for this reason.
Bill pay is VERY HARD to find
I know I can access bill pay past transactions easily, but to find out how to pay a new bill is devilishly difficult. What a pain.

I get a message that says I need to update and and when I tap on it it just brings me to this page...you need to fix this or give me some clue how to get this update. I use an iPad and it does updates automatically so what is the problem? I keep trying to download an earlier version to work on my iPad and this simply won't allow me to do so. I had no issues until I needed to do an update I can no longer deposit checks electronically.

So easy to navigate and read. Transfers are made with only a couple clicks. Best banking App out there.
Untrustworthy bank
They bought out my local bank and never sent anyone any notice I couldn’t figure out why my previous bank app wouldn’t work until I drove past it and realized it completely changed company (many other people were very confused as well)… changing banks to someone more trustworthy

Don’t know why it isn’t letting me overdraft my account. That’s how I pay my bills
Update, when I go to my mobile page, it says I need to be updated.
When I go to my app page, it tells me I need to be updated but yet it does not take me there. It brings me back to the same page. Please fix this problem or give me a call. Thank you.

My iPad has iPadOS 17.7.11 and is “up to date”. The App for Burke and Herbert Bank says it needs to be updated with iOS 18.4 or higher. How do I resolve this?

I have been banking with Burke & Herbert Bank for about 40 years. In my opinion I feel like I am receiving the absolute best customer service and support.

The app no longer works on my iPad
I used to use the app on my iPad with some regularity. Recently I received a notification to update the app. However when I attempted to updated the app the update was unsuccessful. When attempting to open the app update a message appears to wait and says something about improving the experience. Unfortunately the wait screen never completes the process and advances to the point where the app can be opened. Obviously the company didn’t effectively QC the app before putting it in production. Not good Burke & Herbert Bank.

Now I can’t get into my and my moms account. At all. Pop up in App says to update app, but it goes to nowhere except here, where there is no update. When will this be fixed?

Ever since this update, my iPhone 11 can’t use the app. I don’t have access to iOS 18 now what? I just can’t use B&H anymore? Advance or be left behind huh?
