I shouldn’t have to update everything to use an app
i’ve had the app for about a year now and everything was great, and then suddenly we decide that we HAVE to have “bug fixes” that require you to update your entire phone to use 1 SINGULAR app. I can’t use it now, and apple doesn’t care about its customers either so I don’t have anywhere near enough storage space to update my phone itself. Maybe think about your customers before thinking about updates.

Last update is much worse
Updated to latest now when it loads it shows balances updated a month ago, three transfers all not confirmed, yet balance on one acct close to what it should be and three days later still show pending. I need confirmation so can pay some bills ASAP

Trapped in forced update loop
The app immediately pops up a forced 3.34.1 update prompt which takes me to the App Store. I am already updated to 3.34.1 and opening the app from the store takes me back to the update prompt. The app cannot be used.

It was great til it wasn’t.
This app has been wonderful until suddenly I stoped receiving any and all notifications. I’ve tried several fixes like reinstalling apps, restarting phone, updating phone, updating the alerts. Nothing has helped.

There is not an app function to turn off or report lost/stolen card. You have to call and no one is available after business hours or weekends.

Transactions take to long to load.
I love y’all but it takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long for a payment or transaction to show up I’ve made transactions almost 3 days ago and they still haven’t shown up I can’t keep up with what I’m spending… I hope y’all fix it someday.
Good but not great
You can only make a mobile deposit up to 2500 which is annoying and lame in 2025. Also, you are not able to edit a payee in bill pay. Lots of little annoying things that require a call to the bank so you are allowed to have access to your own account. Wells Fargo is way better (and I am not a fan of WF) All banks and Credit Unions I’ve ever used are way more user friendly. This bank needs to do some catching up. If changing auto deposit and payments wasn’t a pain we would have gone to an online bank already. It’s definitely in our future though. Makes moving anywhere so much easier.

Been banking with City for many years and with the app. App is super easy to use. No issues on my end.

Amazing
I have been a proud customer of City National Bank for about 13 years or so now, I absolutely love their services, they have done a lot of updates since I first began banking with them, also love that when you need to talk with someone, always seems to be someone available at all times, they warn you constantly about any new types of scams that may be currently going around, as well as let you know all the current updates as they occur, and which issues each update is coming out to correct, I would t choose any other bank honestly, I had other banks before them, but never one that was friendly and fast to get back immediately when you need support with an issue.
Update is an utter failure
Used to live the app until the most recent update. It’s a constant loop of asking you to update but won’t download unless you have iOS 17. It’s been happening for months and it’s not just me. The developers haven’t done anything to fix it either.

CNB over the years has been there through thick and thin. Great people!! You don’t see that much.
Unreliable
Constantly getting the error updating notification when logging in to check my balance. It’s very inconvenient when I’m needing to see what has cleared and what my available balance is. Please fix it! It happens for multiple hours every single day. (Yes my app is up to date)

i can no longer access my bank app because it’s telling me to update. i can’t update because my phone cannot get ios 17!! i’m not going to get a new phone just because of your app!!

I opened my app to check my balance . I got a notice to update the app. OK. Clicked on update app and it took me to the App page. I clicked on “open”. It took me to my regular old sign in in page. I entered my sign-in code. I got the same message to update the app, which took me back to the app page, clicked “open”. Went around in circles with this a few times, then went to the App Store. Same result. Really? If this is an example of the way the new app works I am not impressed.
