Perfection
I got this device on Christmas of last year and it comes in such great convenience when i am away, putting my cats on a diet and the sound of the dry food hitting the steel tray is an instant call to retrieve my cats! I have experienced no difficulties with the app nor automatic feeder
Forces sharing precise location
This app won’t let you manually provide a WiFi SSID and password to configure the cat feeder. Instead it forces you to enable precise location services so it can “find” your network. I assume it also stores my wifi password on their servers, keyed to my SSID because I didn’t have to provide it after my user account got spontaneously deleted and I was forced to reconfigure everything.
One Feature from Glory
What I would REALLY like to see is a “skip meal” button/feature for a single meal. When I feed my cat wet food, I have to go through the ordeal of deleting the meal off the daily schedule, then remember to add it back after the time has passed. This could be simplified by pressing “Skip meal”. Otherwise the app is great.
Update problems
Everything worked fine in this app, on 5 WiFi instead of 2.5, for literally years but after the update my feeder was gone from the list so I reset it. Now it tells me it doesn’t support 5.0 WiFi and the whole thing is apparently trash now.
Please add function
Please add a function to the app that completely disables the screen. My cats have figured out how to reset the scheduled times on the feeder. So now I have to cover the screens with lots of duct tape. I have the manual feed buttons turned off already but still they figure out how to turn it.
Works well
Have had my devices set up for several months and haven’t had any go offline. I’m happy with it overall!
Dropped connection to feeder
Feeder went offline and the app dropped the connection to the feeder. When I try to set the feeder back up in the app it just keeps saying connection failed. Only had this feeder for around two weeks
Great, but…
Works well and works as described, but it needs the ability to feed “every x number of hours,” rather than at specific times. I want it to rotate every 4 hours (so it would go through all 6 chambers in one day), but there is no way to do this. I tried creating a schedule, but that doesn’t quite work because it doesn’t let you schedule the first meal, only meals 2-6. So if you space all those out by 4 hours, there ends up being an 8 hour gap between meal 6 and meal 2 (it essentially assumes you reload the tray and set it to meal 1 in between meal 6 and 2).
Wifi connector
That's it. That's all this ecommerce app is good for, and that's only because the click on the feeder drifts sooo badly. And even just for that, I need an account 😣
Could be better
Right idea here but unfortunately there are too many glitches. It will be working fine on the set schedule then all of a sudden will start pumping out way too much food. For the cost of the feeder, the app should be updated more often with bug fixes.
Ignore the bad reviews!
I’ve had this app and Pixi smart products for a couple of years and never had an issue, as long as you have a 2.4g WiFi band available then it’s no issue. I think the bad reviews come from people who don't have mush experience setting up smart products, it’s all been a breeze for me.
Horrendous and old
This app looks like it’s from the 90s. It hasn’t received an update from the developers in almost 8 months. The design is so ugly and the features are so limited. It’s truly just a catastrophe of an app. Embarrassing and useless
Works great but missing features
Like many people in these reviews, I struggled at first to set the machines up with WiFi. But I figured it out. Your phone has to be connected to the 2.4Ghz connection while setting up so that that’s what the devices authenticate into. Generally people thinking their router doesn’t support 2G are just not aware of their internet provider settings, which is where you can set up additional networks. Look for option to add an IoT network, this is standard because security-wise you should not have random smart devices on the same network as your secured devices (phones, computers…). Anyway it’s super convenient to be able to see my cats food bowl with the mouse camera and adjust the schedule if he hasn’t yet finished the current meal. Or manually dispense the next meal if motion detection goes off and I see my cat waiting for his food 😹 The one frustrating thing is that I can only turn the dish clockwise. Often I forget to cancel the next scheduled meal after manually serving it, so it moves to the next section. If I’m not home or he’s on my lap, I have to do the manual serve 4 more times to get back to them current meal section, I should be able to turn it counter clockwise from the app like you can from the feeder’s interface. Other than that, no complaints!
Cannot have varied schedule
Took a good few tries to get connected the first time but eventually got it set up and now seems stable. I’m mad tho that I didn’t thoroughly review this app before buying the pixi. Not being able to have a schedule per day is really unacceptable. Like, I am a varied person who sometimes needs my Monday’s and Thursday’s to have separate and distinct feeding schedules. Would also be nice if there was a way to set the day as a deviation. Like a temporary override schedule for the day.
Could use improvements to scheduling but otherwise working as expected.
Use the app with the PIXI smart feeder (no camera). Was easy to set up and schedule periodic dry food snacks. BUT IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SET UP DIFFERENT SCHEDULES FOR DIFFERENT DAYS. If I knew this going in I may have purchased a different product. As I primarily manually feed my cats wet food on days that I’m home, I would like to schedule the feeder to give a dry “lunch” on days i work outside of the home. Perhaps this could be added as an option in a future version of the app.

Ich bin mit der App und den Funktionen zusammen mit dem Automat super zufrieden und überzeugt und nutze sie seit über einem Jahr! Ich würde mich freuen wenn es mehr Optionen zum Erstellen von Programmen gäbe, zB von Montag-Freitag eine Uhrzeit einstellen zu können!

Works well but there is room for improvement
Wifi connection is stable. I would recommend a way for the feeder to notify the user if no meal has been dispensed. I would also like to make different schedules for different days (in order to better control the caloric intake since the smallest portions are slightly too large). Thank you
Work’s brilliantly! Exceeds expectations
Bought it to feed my 10 Koi fish while on vacation, works amazingly well. I wish all my apps were this seamless and operated this smoothly. Well done!
Bugged
Fails when our wifi updates. Would not trust this to feed your pet.
Good so far
Sometimes the app would crash and log me off. Wish this was not the case. One feature I would love is a widget so I am aware of the levels or when the fountain filter should be replaced.
Multiple issues with app
Relatively easy set up. Works well for a couple of days but then random things start happening: one or both feeders go offline and need to be deleted and restarted. One or two meals will be skipped without warning. Feeding plan records are suddenly gone. Very frustrating.

Au bout d’un mois, ils se déconnecte tous de l’application et pour les connecter c’est un désastre ses super long et difficile à reconnecter. Excellent device
It took me a while to understand how to connect to the wifi but once I did, the app is very simple to set up and use. As I understand it, 2.4Ghz is what other smart home devices use too. The smart feeder is completely reliable and my cat runs to the bowl when the meal is served.
Keep going offline!
The feeder keeps going offline. There is no mean to put it online again without removing and doing a new setup. New software update did not fix the issue.
Gut, aber verbesserungswürdig
Ich find die App an sich ziemlich, dass einzige was mir fehlt ist das man die Pixi Brunnen zusätzlich zum nicht stören auch das Licht über Nacht abschalten könnte. 😅
Notifications
Started out great. Then the feeder would just go offline and I’d have to unplug then plug it back in. Notifications are driving me insane. I’ll get a low reservoir notification and open the reservoir to see that it’s full, but it’ll ping low through the app literally every 2 minutes. Over and over and over again.
Needs improvement
I’ve been using these feeders for almost over a year and they’re great BUT it needs improvement. They did release a new update however it now doesn’t tell me or notify me when my cats are being served their meals. I also would find it beneficial if we can post pone a meal for a day or time incase we want to adjust not delete and rest for everyday gets annoying after awhile.

Goes offline constantly
The feeders disconnect multiple times a day, I have 2 feeders and if it’s not one it’s the other. I need an automatic dispenser and was excited about this purchase! I don’t feel positive that this issue will be fixed and I am starting to think I need to return them :(
No issues but missing opportunities
Not sure about all the Wi-Fi negative reviews as I have a router that does both 2.4 and 5 and it connects and works fine. I feel like there is a missing opportunity with these products and apps though that frustrates me - automation! My cat won’t eat when it auto dispenses unless we bring her to the machine. If you could automate it where the camera senses a cat is near the machine and auto feeds - that would be helpful or at least integrate with Alexa.
Can we get a 'pause' function?
It's extremely annoying to delete and re-add meals every time we go out of town with the cat. Half the time the meals don't delete and we come home to a dozen meals served all over the floor. Can't you just add a 'pause meals' button? How hard would that be?
Does the job, but could use improvements
I use the app for the Pixi Smart Feeder (without camera), and it gets the job done as far as setting an automated feeding schedule. You create a single schedule, and then toggle that schedule on or off for the days of the week. However, there’s no ability to set different schedules on different days, nor the ability to skip individual meals if needed. For example, there are times I’ll change it up and feed my cat wet food, but I don’t want to then feed her a second full meal. I guess you could argue that the current scheduling system helps enforce a regular feeding schedule, but I think a little more flexibility would go a long way.

Dev Request
So far the app was simple to use and connected easily to my Catit Pixi feeder. [Request] Please add in a date feature. In sense of allowing the Pixi to cycle to a different tray the next day or whatever is inputted. For example, I would like to feed my cats tray 1 and 2 on Monday and for Tuesday tray 3 and 4 and so on. This combined with a select tray for meal and date input would make this a 5 star app. Thank you.
La fontaine s’est débrancher du réseau
La fontaine est impossible à rebrancher. Malgré une réinitialisation… Et le distributeur de nourriture a une mise à jour du microgiciel à faire et cela ne se charge pas. Ça reste à 0% après 1hre et plusieurs tentative! Déçue de cette application!
Changing the servings size
Since the last update I cannot change the servings size of scheduled meals. The + and - signs no longer activate. It used to work just fine before, and it also works on my Android device as expected. A new bug, perhaps? Please fix it.

Sans raison apparente, après avoir ouvert la caméra (environ 1 mois après l’achat), l’appareil s’est déconnecté de manière inopinée. Pour un appareil aussi cher payé, c’est absolument décevant de devoir gérer une déconnexion complète. Je ne recommande PAS l’achat et je vais entamer une démarche de remboursement!
Setup process
The setup process can be a lot better as it never works the 2nd or 3rd time around. AP mode seems to get the job done and half of the hard work is getting the device in AP mode. The water fountain hardware works as intended. I also just purchased the feeder and hoping for the same reliability.
Changes don’t save
Changes to portion sizes or time doesn’t save, it goes back to what it was after restarting the app. Also, sometimes it doesn’t give out some meals or distributes them early or late.
Improved Notification Control Please
App is decent but would really like to see improved control over which notifications are sent for each product. For example with the automatic feeder I really do not need a notification every time the feeder dispenses food. I do still want maintenance and low food alerts so the ability to filter the notifications would be great. Right now the only option is to allow the app to send notifications or not applying to all products you have connected.
It works like it should!
All devices in my home have connected but they can only connect under a 2.4g wifi. What I did was connect my wifi extender and put it close to the devices in repeater mode. Then I selected the devices under the 2.4g wifi in this app and they all connected! Once they are connected to the wifi, you can control the devices from any other internet connection in your cellphone. You can be in a vacation far from home and they will still work from your phone.
Hard to connect to network- not recommended
This app is poorly designed. Works only on 2G network and is impossible to connect. Another poorly develop product
Ein Manko auf kleineren Bildschirmen
Vorab das Positive: die App läuft stabil und schnell. Ein Manko gibt es auf meinem iPhone SE (alte Version): auf den Screenshots stehen die aktuellen Meldungen unter dem Pixi-Bild auf weißem Hintergrund, danach folgen die Einstellungen wie Pumpenwartung usw. Aufgrund der Bildschirmgröße meines IPhones stehen die Texte aber direkt über/vor den Einstellungen und sind deshalb unlesbar. Zudem wäre es schön wenn es ein Widget für den Homescreen gäbe, damit man zum Ein- und Ausschalten der Pumpe nicht extra die App öffnen muss.
Easy setup, Difficult to Change after setup
The app is very straightforward to use and fo the initial setup. The biggest problem with the app is that it does not allow you to remove feedings in the feeding schedule. There should be a way to delete a feeding schedule and replace it or allow for times to be removed. The developers clearly did not realize that cats’ diets change as they age.
