Annual renewal

Aura is pretty intrusive and I was having problems running regular programs and apps. I don’t need most of the features. Unfortunately, it annual renewals itself and is frustrating. Trying to cancel this program!!

Great program, however

The reason I chose this program was to get rid of all the spam calls that I’m getting. So far all I’ve been able to get the program to do is put all incoming calls that it does not recognize, in the silent mode. iPhones can do that without the use of a program. It did a real good job supposedly of making sure all my information was off the dark web however, I’m still getting between 60 and 80 spam calls a day and they keep popping up on my phone although they’re silent and it really is not doing the job. I guess I’m just gonna have to change my number. This should be against the law what the spam colors are doing.

Does not stop kids and scam cancellation

Kids easily work around the parental controls. Contacted their support and they said that the simple work around was known and nothing they can do. VERY tough to cancel as they won’t help via app and then send you in circles. Avoid

Good security, bad email alias feature

I’ve had Aura for almost 2 years now. I’ve enjoyed having the protection and security it provides. The one major issue that has caused me to lose money and so much time has been the email alias feature. I created an email alias to log into many accounts and even shared the alias with business and others. Unfortunately some type of bug that not even the developers can understand or help resolve caused the email alias to go bad and now so many important emails are not being forwarded to me. As a result, over 6 weeks of important emails are in limbo and lost forever.

So genuinely impressed with my customer service representative

I don't rate businesses often. It takes a lot to impress me. And not in the way that people think about being impressed it took me a long time to make my decision when it came to my security and protection. Tonight I was humbled and once again shown that I did in fact, pick the correct company to handle all of my security and protection issues. I bought the service for a year and I chose several parts of the service. Not just one yesterday I received an email telling me that my subscription was running I needed to be renewed, which shouldn't be the case because I bought this service for a year so to begin with they have people answering their phones 24 hours a day. I literally called them in the middle of the night I work long hours and I have a lot going on so I that's not unvommomn for me to be reading email at 2 AM it's also not a common practice for businesses to make themselves available when you need them I'm very impressed with the management of time the availability of customer service and the bright thoughtful. Let me fix that for you reaffirm why you chose us as a company attitude not in a cocky way in a smart, empowering, thoughtful, gracious way the customer service woman I spoke to hit every nail on the head she was not just bright. She's the kind of employee that should be leading a team of her own she listen to me she paused before she spoke. She found out what happened. She Explained it to me not just to validate how I felt but to tell me why itshouldn't have happened and to tell me how fast she was going to fix it because I was important to her company . valuable as a customer and worth not only her time but the company's time . Bravo, you have impressed me so much that I am currently writing this that woman deserves a raise and like I said she should be leading a team. She's everything you would want in a customer service representative and more she should be speaking about your company her truth and who she is and who you are as a business was beyond impressive bravo, you deserve this review and you're an amazing company because you have people like that young woman believing in you and speaking her truth she knows what she's talking about. Thank you for once again reminding me I made the right choice.

Failed to provide services paid for

The overall service worked well enough, but a key aspect of data monitoring included home address monitoring. Following a move, we were unable to update our address due to Aura’s algorithm pulling data from public records sources. We were told to give it time. We did the legwork to confirm the public records sources. We engaged with customer support, who dragged their feet through another renewal period before confirming that they have no control over fixing the issue and refusing a refund. Ok service, terrible customer support.
