Any idea how to contact app support? I registered the book but I am unable to sign in with the email and password in the app. The support link is not working.
Room for improvement
I love the concept of this app but the copy and insights need to be buttoned up. Some of the articles feel like they weren’t edited by a professional writer and for a paid program, it doesn’t feel polished enough.
Excellent idea, Poor execution
This app brings together all the topics one needs to recover postpartum, but does a really poor job of educating on them ie Bad posture can delay recovery- yes, obviously, can you give me a picture with anatomy to illustrate What Bad Posture Is??? Otherwise it’s like having educational material that says Poor diet can lead to weight gain, but it never tells you: these are the food items which define a poor diet when consumed in excess. Good first draft, I’d love to see v2.0

I found the information not useful as there was no way to tailor it to my specific situation. Couldn’t figure out how to cancel and wrote to their help desk before the deadline… they wrote to me after the deadline and said I now could not cancel since I had missed the deadline! $30 for an app I don’t need. Skip downloading this and see an in-person physical therapist after giving birth

4 weken postpartum heb ik pas 2x een workout gedaan maar ze zijn zeker fijn voor nu! Ik zie alleen nergens de cooling down waar steeds over gesproken wordt…

Seems like it was thrown together. Poor Ux and poor quality content.
Veel materiaal
Er is erg veel materiaal nodig om de workout te doen. Zo heb ik geen skippybal of foamroller thuis, waardoor ik een deel van de workout niet kan doen. Ook wordt er geen alternatief aangeboden wanneer deze materialen niet beschikbaar zijn. De “stel ons een vraag” optie werkt niet, anders had ik dit zo doorgegeven.

I work with startups and am a first time mom as of 9/1/2021. My birth and PP recovery was traumatic and lonely. There was SO much info for pregnancy and then for baby - “Wonder Weeks”, What to Expect”, “Huckleberry”, “Expecting Better” etc but data supported and tracked PP information was virtually non existent. I had to dig through forums, text friends of friends, mine podcasts like “The Longest Shortest Time”. The closest thing I found to a reflection of reality in the media came from Netflix’s “The Let Down”. All this to say, I was dreaming up an app like WW or Huckleberry for PP and found that you WERE working on something and here it is. I was excited. Unfortunately it was a let down. And not the good-to-latch-onto kind (Mom pun intended). Without warning a video started playing - a terrible function for people who probably JUST got a baby to shut its eyes. This didn’t make me want to try the free trial. Who ran the beta testing? What research is being used? I would LOVE to help grow this concept. Right now it feels like a somewhat out of touch self help app still WAY to hung up on mommy *bouncing back* than the support system - maybe even lifeline it could be. Please tell me who I can chat with. I’m US based. SF/Silicon Valley. I’m not a VC but I truly want to help. I’ve even followed your LinkedIn in hopes your expanding the team. I’m a huge advocate now for PP people and THIS app is SO needed. There’s a huge hole in the market, but as it stands, this app can’t fill it.
Nett aber fehlerbehaftet und zu teuer
Ich habe 29,99€ für ein Jahresabo bezahlt und ständig brechen die Workoutvideos ab. Entweder läuft die Zeit weiter aber das Video bleibt stehen oder die Musik hört einfach auf, sodass man immer zurückspulen muss, damit es wieder funktioniert. Sehr nervig während des Workouts! Vor allem kostet das Buch mit kostenlosem App Zugang nur die Hälfte! Auch die Challenges sind absolut nichts besonders und das macht man meistens schon automatisch, wie z.B. mehr trinken oder auf eine gerade Haltung achten.. 2 Sterne nur weil ich die Workouts gut finde.

Deze app wil je hebben! Laagdrempelige work outs en oefeningen zorgen ervoor dat ik mij nu , 19 weken na de bevalling, steeds sterker en fitter voel. Echt n aanrader dus.

Nette Idee schlecht umgesetzt
Ich wollte heute endlich mit den Übungen anfangen und direkt im ersten Video, dass ich mir angesehen habe heißt es: „wir machen es genau so wie in den vorherigen Workouts“. Ich hatte keine vorherigen Workouts! Für mich sind alle Übungen neu. Es wird nichts erklärt, ich kann also nicht einsteigen, da mir die Übungen nicht bekannt sind. Extrem frustrierend, wenn man sich endlich 10 Minuten frei geschaufelt hat, das Baby endlich schläft, keine anderen Termine anstehen und man dann nicht loslegen kann. Das tötet meine Motivation extrem. Hab mein Abo dann sofort wieder gekündigt. Die App ist schön gestaltet aber man findet sich null zurecht. Ich hab ewig versucht die Übungen wieder auf „Start“ zurück zu setzen, aber keine Ahnung wie das gehen soll und ob das überhaupt geht. Da man die App so kaum nutzen kann und sie dafür viel zu teuer ist, nur 2 Sterne.
Einfach Klasse!
Ich habe die App direkt nach der Geburt genutzt und viele tolle Infos daraus bekommen. Auch die Workout Videos sind super zur Rückbildung. klare Empfehlung!
Not a good app at all
When you use The Wonder Weeks app and see that there is an app for postpartum recovery you get very excited. However, unfortunately unlike The Wonder Weeks app this app has so many flaws. Although I have completed numerous workouts throughout the week even more than the three required none of them have been marked down and even though it’s been over a week the app still thinks that I am on week one. I also began my journey eight months postpartum with this app. Instead of asking or putting a questionnaire to see where I am physically for this app it’s immediately assuming I just had a baby yesterday. So all of the work that I have already done I’m being set back in time. For an app that is as expensive as it is expected to perform very well and to be tailored to me and not just a blanket app for all people. I definitely do not recommend paying for this app whatsoever. Download a Sweat app or look up Megsquats and buy her postpartum recovery program.
Waste of money if you didn’t just give birth
I love the concept, but if you’re already even a couple months postpartum, it’s not helpful. It looks great in the first week, but then nothing changes for three weeks at a time, and it’s only an 18 week program. Buy a gym membership instead if you’ve got money to burn and look up some stretches on Pinterest.

Bin echt begeistert von der App vorallem sind da tolle Tipps und Tricks für Neue Mamis aber auch Mütter die schon Erfahrungen mit Kindern haben, auch ich habe neue Tricks gelernt und die Videos geben dir sogar nochmal extra Zeit für dich selber obwohl es Übungen für dein Körper sind.
As an OB, I’m appalled.
I downloaded this app as an adjunct to my Wonder Weeks app, where they offered a time-sensitive deal to purchase a year subscription at half off, only to find out that I cannot even access the app until after I deliver and they will not, even after reaching out to customer service, extend my purchase to be able to accommodate my actual postpartum phase. Because I’m trying to be proactive, I’m still about 6 months away. So while I bought “a year at half off” I will only be able to use the app for 6 months. As an OB, I I know how often my patients are asked to buy things that they don’t need, and trying to navigate how best to spend their money on the seemingly endless things surrounding their birth and postpartum experiences. Now as an expectant mother myself, I’m exploring options available to me and my patients, and I’m learning things that are good and bad to recommend to them. One of the most important things is knowing that they will have the support they need if anything goes wrong or falls outside of their expectations. I will certainly not be recommending my expectant mothers to an app that uses truly the absolute worst predatory business practices. Big dislike.
Glitchy with bad UX
The information shared in this app feels unreliable and doesn't link to studies or research its suggestions are based on. Poor UX makes scrolling through the different cards confusing about which is meant for your current stage. I'm also unsure why my delivery date was over two weeks ago but the app seems stuck on Week 1 features. Finally, when I tried to elevate this question to cuatomer service within the app, I was simply met with a dead end error message.

Disappointing App and Customer Service
As a user of the Wonder Weeks app and a first time mom anxious to get her body back, I enrolled for the free trial of this app. In the seven day period I navigated through their content and found that much of it is audio- or video-based and requires a 30-40 minute commitment which I just don’t have time for. Additionally, the narrators voice was robotic and unpleasant. I forgot to cancel by the 7th day and was charged for the year. I emailed the app requesting a reimbursement for my mistake on the 9th day and was told that because I didn’t cancel in time I couldn’t be reimbursed. Their message of support seems hollow, as their business model clearly hinges on hooking new moms desperate to get their bodies back with a free trial and then counting on their sleep deprived brains to forget to cancel. I love the Wonder Weeks app but am beyond disappointed by the hypocrisy and content of this app.
Very basic
A really great idea but not “revolutionary” in any way. I find the app difficult to navigate and the articles, interesting but very short and lacking in variety. The exercise program seems to be very simple and extremely repetitive although it’s nice to have exercises targeted to the postpartum body. I feel once I have done one “routine” I no longer need the app as I can do it all from memory. I realise this is a newer app and hope it improves over my year’s subscription as The Wonder Weeks app and book are incredibly helpful and informative.
Absolutes must-have für jede Mami
Ich liebe das Buch und noch mehr liebe ich die App, das Handy ist überall mit dabei und somit auch mein „back to you“ Programm. Es unterstützt in allen Bereichen, sei es mental oder eben körperlich. Mit der App verstehe ich meine Empfinden und mein Körper nochmal viel besser. Es ist eine prima Stütze.. ich kann es mit bestem Gewissen absolut weiterempfehlen!!!
App doesn’t work when using code
I bought the book and tried to register and login. For some reason it says there’s an error. I tried to contact support on the app and it forces me to register again. App doesn’t work.
Great idea of the app but it needs improvement
After each title I select or read, the app freezes and needs to be restarted so that i can press anything on the screen. Too bad, it seems like a nice and well thought app.

Unable to transfer to wife’s phone
I was testing various apps for my wife and purchased a subscription to Back to You on my phone. Family sharing does not work and she cannot use the premium subscription on her phone. No support for user accounts to login, restore purchase,… In app support request errors out and I am unable to send the team any message. Hence the one star.

Habe mir das Buch ohne große Erwartungen gekauft, aber mit der Hoffnung, Hilfe bei der Regeneration in den Wochen nach der Geburt und im Wochenbett zu haben. Die App ist selbsterklärend und einfach gehalten. In Verbindung mit dem Buch eine super gelungene App!
