Worth every Penny
Honestly this has completely changed my life if I’m being honest. I’ve slept extremely hard my entire life. Having to get woken up by someone else is not good. I just want to say thank you so much for making a great product!
Mandatory updates
There are constant mandatory updates and the requirement to have an always online account when I just want to configure settings for the Pavlok 2, an offline Bluetooth device that doesn’t need a constant connection to my phone Every time I open the app as of late there is a new mandatory update that doesn’t affect my hardware
Could use some work
I play football and wake up everyday at 4am. i tried several different alternative alarms and this one stuck with me. I have the shock clock 3 and it works great but the app is a different story. The app doesn’t have a lot of features is very laggy and i would like to see improvements to sleep tracking when i spend $100 on the shock clock. all around a good product but the app can use some more features and options for waking up
Love the product just not the app.
The watch and the idea of it is great, but the app could really use some work. While you are getting shocked and wanting to get it stopped it will take the app 30 seconds to load. I’ve hoped it would get fixed pretty quickly but I’ve had it for almost a year and I don’t think it has done any better yet.
Awesome for heavy sleepers, too bad they don’t offer replacements every time the watch stops working
I’ve been using pavloks shock watches for years. 19 bucks a Month isn’t bad, but they stop sending replacement watches when yours stops working so you have to buy a new one.
Great bracelet
I got this mainly for the alarm as I am extremely hard to wake up and have tried everything to do so with failed attempts. But this has worked remarkably well. Love the way it tracks my sleep as well I haven’t even explored all the features yet. I definitely recommend getting it. I have recommended it to all my friends.
Wish there was another option
It works but has had updates and pointless requirements and changes. (Eg the pavlock 2 app used to work great and then they sent an update that literally bricked the app). It’s turned into a sales platform and all I want it to be is a place to set my alarm on the watch. You can’t even delete old alarms from the prior watches that have broken overtime, which happens quite often. UPDATE: Forced app update!??? You literally erased the functionality of the app and forced an update? This is the stupidest app I’ve ever used.
Great App with very helpful features
This app is really good, specially because of the guarantees challenges it has. It is helping me to wake up every day at the time that I want without disturbing my partner. I like the Apple shortcuts available for it also. I wanted to give it a try to the plus subscription but it makes me pay right away instead of having a trial version.
Watch works but app extremely buggy
Have to re-pair the app and watch nearly every night. App is slow and freezes often. Alarms randomly duplicate themselves. Lots of bugs. The watch works great, app does not
Alarm
I am hearing impaired and I am a deep sleeper. This alarm clock allows me to change the strength of the shock that it produces. It wakes me up everytime and barely even hurts. It’s a product worth spending on!!!
Best alarm ever!!!
I’ve always had a hard time waking up for years I’ve searched for every alarm tried every alarm and then I knew someone had to make an eclectic shock alarm and low and behold I came across this company and let me tell you after a week I’ve not slept in or over slept! Thank you!!! The 5 min monitoring truly works too!!!

I rely on this wearable to manage my sleep. Not being able to change the alarms as needed and not being able to even stop alarms due to not being able to connect to the device from the app makes this a waste of money. I’m not the only one read the reviews.

Works great to wake me up as I’m a deep sleeper little ticked off that that when you get enough shock points for the free watch strap that they all of a sudden disappear off of the menu
I always oversleep
I always over sleep and this helped for a while until it didn’t wake me up anymore and would wake up with burn marks from oversleeping. 10/10 product. Gonna turn the power up
HORRIBLE
If you’re looking to be both tired, and absolutely irate, look no further… The app functionality is beyond terrible and apparently they have zero intention of addressing this. I have been struggling to use this watch and app for the past 2 years.. CONSTANTLY needs “support” to forget Bluetooth device, uninstalling app, and hard reset on watch while plugged in and directly next to my phone. Maybe the watch will work for a day or two following this. But don’t worry! The most consistent feature you can reliably count on is that you frequently won’t be able to turn off your electrocuting alarm (with escalating intensity feature active). Today’s issue however was a brand new one, so that’s exciting I guess. After deleting the app and redownloading AGAIN. Now I just can’t log into my account at all. Same email. Reset my password 3 times. My log-in is clearly not the problem, and now after all that…. This is literally keeping me up at night just working through basic use issues to access the app and make sure my alarm is actually set. Will I wake up tomorrow and not be late to work? I guess we just don’t know. This could have been such a helpful device but due to a horrible design model and execution of the app. - Irate and exhausted

I bought two, one for me and one for my son. The only thing is that I can’t pair two with one phone. Please fix this!
Unimpressed with App
The app feels like it was just created. It’s buggy, not very user family, and the functions are very limited without a subscription. The habits thing only has a few free choices, it’s just very limited unnecessarily. For it to be around for so long, it makes no sense that the app isn’t better.

DO NOT BUY
Pavlok is truly the worst piece of technology built in this century. The Bluetooth pairing is terrible, it only works like half the time. And sometimes the Bluetooth won’t pair so I can’t turn off my alarm and it just shocks me over and over. I have never been more frustrated with a piece of tech in my life and I pray everyone sees this so they know not to waste their money on this truly terrible watch
Buggy but truly works
I have narcolepsy so getting up in the morning is painful, like death to me. I’ve tried so many different ways, but the only thing that truly works after a few weeks are this crazy wrist band and Adderall one hour before waking up. Before I have prescribe medications, this wristband is my savior to my morning problem. It’s not behaviorally making you to get up (which requires will power), but biologically wake your still sleeping nervous system up. The electricity shock and pain trigger adrenaline and activate the sympathetic nerves system. The jumping jacks then nailed it further. I’m totally awakened after the zaps and 3 jumping jacks. The app itself is buggy and sometimes the tracking sleep function will stop in the middle of the night. The watch itself also does not use the best quality materials, that after washing my hands for a few weeks wearing it, two the lights stopped working. But the main function still works after almost two years of owning it. And I’m considering to buy a Shock Clock Max too because it can work independently without a phone. I don’t think anyone can use it to change bad habits. Positive punishment can work but as soon as it stops the behaviors will come back. And positive punishment also always creates negative emotions and relationship strains with the person or things that punished the person / animal. Pavlov was the first behaviorist and there are decades of new research after him already. If you wish to use this watch to change certain bad habits, or any external motivation to change bad habits, you will eventually be disappointed.

Pavlok Sock Watch 3
This is a good product but with some limitations, it has a tendency to lose Bluetooth connection over reasonably small distances. I just have to double check that it has a connection to the app when I go to sleep for it to work, so reliability is not 100% If using the wake assurances, often the app does not prompt for the QR code to be scanned, so you will be getting shocked while trying to open the app and find the correct screen to log the QR in the morning. Any form of focus setting on your phone will cause it to lose connection over night, causing the alarm to not activate. Product itself works well, but appears cheap in build, it definitely looks like a Chinese knockoff that has been glued together, definitely not the build quality that I expected for the price, but it does do the job. To conclude, this appears to be a cheaply built product, with a great idea behind it. Hopefully they spend some time and money improving the app and build quality, people like me who can occasionally get almost an anxiety about sleeping in, don’t want to be stressed about whether the watch is actually connected to the phone and whether it will go off in the morning. Reliability is key in this market. However, this is probably still the best thing I’ve found for waking me up in the morning.

I’ve had this bracelet for about three months and the shock doesn’t seem to be as effective as it was when I first got it. This bracelet saved my life. I’m a very heavy sleeper and don’t wake up to my alarms. I wish it was still working.

It is a great idea. I have been using it last few weeks. The app can be improved for more habits. Currently only waking up, reminder, nail biting only. It has a potential for more habits. Sleep tracker is nice and detailed Only problem if you take it off and walk away from it with you iPhone as soon as the Bluetooth breaks it disconnects and requires manual reconnecting. Not a problem as I always wear it and have my phone with me. But beware if you take it off and walk away from it.

probably suing
Imagine waking up getting electrocuted and you can’t make it stop because the app is laggy, It’s truly terrible and unusable I have a iPhone 17 Pro, it’s not my phone, they make you think it can do all this other stuff too which isn’t even true at all, the app is trying to do way to much like dude, me and everyone else who have bought and downloaded your awful product are just trying to wake up on time. Truly Garbage, find something else.

Итак, покупал павлок 3 потому что не слышу будильник. Шокер в часах крутой, ощутимый. Много режимов, самый крутой из них - определение по датчикам действительно ли я встал - если вырубил будильник и дальше сплю - повторяет разряды. В приложении куча функций, и не понятного функционала (для меня) предназначенного для борьбы с привычками. Ну ладно. 4 звезды - потому что аудио будильник - оооочень тихий, вибро - воообще еле вибрирует. Уже или уберите эти функции полностью, или сделайте по мощнее. И не понятно, если я покупаю часы за 200 баксов, почему я должен покупать подписку в приложении на определенный функционал? Жаль нет дисплея даже самого минимального на часах, со временем. Это ж часы все таки!
Viel Luft nach oben
Die von anderen gemeldeten Verbindungsabbrüche habe ich bisher nicht erlebt. Dafür nervige Fehler. Der Schlaftracker meldet immer „keine Daten vorhanden“. Wenn ich den Wecker am Pavlok deaktiviere, hängt sich die App auf. Alles in allem leider ziemlich ernüchternd.

What can i say. It works as advertised. It only takes one time being shocked before you learn to wake up with the beep and vibrate. If you do get a shock, trust me it wakes you up. I am not a morning person. No matter how much sleep i get im still hard to wake up. I’m the guy that sets five alarms to make sure i wake up. This is the only one you need.
Does hold up
I bought the pavlock max not even a year ago and now it no longer holds a charge i take it off the charger and the watch dies and this is my second watch the first one didn’t work out of the box i had to warranty it
I like it
I’ve always had troubles with sleeping in and sleeping through alarms and this honestly changed my life lol i wear it every night. Battery lasts quite a while, probably about 10 days. I don’t use the device to its full extent but what I do use it for it works great. It also tracks sleep which is nice too. The app is easy to work but sometimes glitchy. Sleep data won’t show up until later, or Bluetooth disconnects and you have to sync the device again. This is annoying when you have an alarm going off and you can’t shut it off.
Constant review nagging from CEO
Really tedious. Product nearly unusable. The one thing it does (silent alarm plus zap) is worth it but every other aspect of the app detracts from this fact.

I used to sleep through everything 30x alarms, dogs barking, even my house once being on fire. I can now get up when I want and have much more control over my life. This tool has truly helped me build discipline.
Unreliable
For an app that controls a device that shocks a user you think it would be more stable. The device disconnects from the app constantly so trying to scan the QR code as a “wake up guarantee” could leave you being shocked over and over again. Not to mention the app UI- so many places they have overflow of content and weird wrapping. Just look at the stop watch timer. I’ve never left a bad review of an app in the App Store but since this device was almost $200 you think they’d make the app great. I’m not asking for a perfect app but at least work out these bugs.
Almost perfect
The device itself work as expected. A great improvement could be that the heart rate monitor to be effective all the time instead of only in sleep mode. The Bluetooth communication failed regularly.
Over priced
The app is difficult to use and very buggy and the stockwatch 3 seems to have a shorter battery life than the shock watch 2 and it’s max zap setting is far weaker. I am extremely disappointed by the new and way more expensive set up. Not worth it at all.
Great but buggy
I feel like it doesn’t always go off and it is supposed to even if it isn’t connected with Bluetooth ??? It could be partially my older phone? I don’t know. I have the Pavlok 3 and when I got it a couple years ago cost $150 +tx for a device that just shocks (no watch face or anything) and for that price and the third unit release it should definitely not be this buggy…. Not just the alarms (although obviously that’s the only reason I bought it) but the other features are hit and miss as well… it doesn’t track all of my steps everyday, it doesn’t always track my sleep, hmmmm that’s all I can think of. When it works it’s great and I love the functions it’s a great idea and again when it successfully goes off (alarm) it’s exactly what I needed!

Bluetooth wont connect
As of july 24, With the latest version of the app, neither my old previously reliable though “shorting” “shock clock max” not the new, warrantied Shock clock MAX will connect to my phone. When it worked, it was annoying to have to reconnect the bluetooth almost every morning before i could stop the alarm with the qr code but now i can’t even generate a new code.
Lessens my anxiety
My body likes to sleep in a lot, and because of this I have missed many important functions (like exams) that happen in the am. I have tried all the alarms, even for people that are hard of hearing, they don’t work and I just wake up with a headache. I have never slept through this alarm watch which really helps calm my nerves about waking up on time. Just wish it was a little harder to take off in my sleepy morning haze. My unconscious self really likes to remain asleep and therefore tries to take it off in the morning (which it has successfully done a few times). Takes a long time for the app to load. Wristband disconnects from phone often

The bot is no longer responsive, and I can’t set any habits up. My device also keeps unpairing for no reason. I’ve yet to see if it helps me get up but if it disconnects like this frequently I’m a bit concerned
