Extremely biased fake news.
They emphasize certain aspects as a vehicle to push their own agenda. If you follow their news, just know that what you we’re just told is most definitely not what actually happened in the current events.

It is balanced most of the time, I can not say for sure when it comes to China, it reflects most of the biases of the western media.

Effective propaganda
It’s a fascinating channel to watch, as long as one is aware of the bias and propaganda infused into the reporting. For example, according to AJ not one murderer or hamas / PIJ terrorist has been reported as killed in Gaza. And only innocent people are ever targeted by the IDF, according to AJ. For the first 2 years of the Gaza war, 80% of news reporting was focused on Israel / Gaza / Lebanon. The other conflicts in the world, Africa, South and Central America, Pakistan / India, Myanmar, and many more, were mostly sidelined. But oil money provides the opportunity to make Goebbels’ propaganda seem like child’s play. One day AJ will be the cause of Qatar’s demise, of that I have zero doubt. But for the moment, I’ll make the most of watching the propaganda channel.

This is a v trustworthy app for information about the world specially the Middle East . The only channel which shines light on the darkness n evil perpetrated daily by ISRAEHELL in Gaza n occupied Palestinian land. Thank u n please keep it up!

I’m an elderly Scotsman living in Canada and have mostly revered BBC coverage of international events. However over the past 10/15 years the coverage by Al Jazeera of middle eastern issues(especially) gives a much wider view. Often I encourage my friends/associates to view those issues with an open mind via your web site.

I downloaded this app because I was looking for a different view of world events other than western media . It is not different. It may as well be CNN.

I want actual news update that’s factual, honest, and keeping the world well informed without foreign interference. And thus far, Al Jazeera has delivered.

Many news outlets in America are known to favor political parties in their interests. Al Jazeera appears to be unbiased. The search engine could be more reliable as I searched for Michigan shooting and reports came up outside of Michigan. Recent articles of interests that are searched should be more specific.

I want to Listen to continuous audio broadcasts
The app is fine but Al Jazeera only gives you access to short video or audio clips. I want to listen to Al Jazeera as a radio broadcast on my iPad. I have no technical problem listening to & watching live Al Jazeera TV broadcasts, but that would be illegal as I don’t have a UK TV licence. I am unable to listen to audio broadcasts for technical reasons & Al Jazeera don’t seem to be interested in helping me.

I read this source daily. I want the illusive truth and no side seems to be impartial. Al Jazeera is very reliable and extremely credible outside the ME. But in the ME like others they tell their tale

Yeah it’s okay
Al Jazeera seems to have lost its way and lacks that strong independence it was once known for. For some time now it projects a sense of having become soft on western geopolitical narratives, leaving one with a sense of needing to go elsewhere to get the news in full spectrum.

Really appreciate your news reporters. Without fearing their death they bring us/report readers news coverage from corner corners of the world including battle field. It's slow and hard to use
It would be a great app but it's slow on my iPhone, scrolling is far from a smooth experience and it freezes sometimes and quits. CNN app works fine on my phone.

This app chews thro data. I was browsing for five minutes (not watching any videos) and went thro 150mb. Incredible.
The real deal
Al Jazeera is my go to morning news. One of the best reporting about events and issues in Middle East. Possibly the best about war on Gaza & Palestinian issues. I am sadden to see that Al Jazeera’s reporters covering the war in Gaza had been subject to Israeli aggression and few had been killed.
No audio only stream
Please bring back the live stream audio only, the video from YouTube doesn’t allow play in background or audio only which is a great feature we used to enjoy

Previous app has so much far more functionality. This one is dumbed down and looks like a bad mobile site. No way to find or follow shows or create your own feed. I'll keep using the old one as long as I can and then look elsewhere.

Sadly with the new Al Jazeera make-over, it is no where near as enjoyable reading articles. Primarily as Al Jazeera has not made the news Landscape readable.
