Description
Borderline personality disorder is a mental health condition characterized by difficulty managing emotions and behavior, a pattern of unstable relationships, and self-image issues. Individuals with borderline personality disorder often engage in self-harm and deal with feelings of emptiness, fear of abandonment, and depersonalization.
Borderline Personality Disorder is commonly associated with other mental health conditions such as depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
BPD can typically be treated with evidence-based psychotherapy such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
This test uses the Maclean Screening Instrument for BPD - a series of 10 yes or no questions corresponding to different symptoms for Borderline Personality Disorder.
