Superlative App
This app delivers a clean, dependable puzzle experience with thoughtful features that make solving feel smooth and intuitive. Its interface is uncluttered, the number-entry tools are responsive, and the difficulty levels are well‑balanced for both casual players and more methodical solvers. It excels at presenting Sudoku in a clear, comfortable format that’s easy to enjoy day after day. In addition, it has a feature I’ve never seen but now can’t imagine doing without - the “hidden cage”!
Premium ad in app
I got an ad to go ‘lifetime premium’ after I am already ‘lifetime premium’. Test your apps and updates. Unacceptable.
Bit too many ads
I really enjoy this app. The only way the actual functions of the app could be better is if I could filter out the premium boards, but that’s me being picky. The one problem I have is the ads. I don’t mind an ad for hints or opening up a new puzzle, you have to keep the lights on, but I do find it a bit annoying when I close my phone down to deal with stuff, pick up my puzzle again, and have to sit through an ad because the app paused. Sometimes I end up putting my phone on airplane mode specifically to play this app because it cuts down on the mid game ads.
Ads are too much
Whilst the games are good. Spend so much time with the ads it feels like a waste of time.
let us have single row layout back!!
it was one of my favorite games for YEARS until this layout change. i always have played with the single-row number layout, and when they rolled out the 2-row layout, i changed my settings back to the single row, and now with this new layout, there’s an option to do the 2 row layout but i can’t go back to the single row and i hate it. i’m used to numbers being in certain places and they’re not, im used to the highlight button and notes button being in certain places but they’ve moved so i am constantly misclicking, it’s incredibly annoying. i love the variants, i have literally played almost all of the expert and hard level puzzles, but this forced layout change has made me less likely to open the app bc i know ill be frustrated. why allow changing to two row input but not single? the other changes would be so much less annoying if i could have my single row layout.
Best overall sudoku
The best mix of Sudoku and challenging variants. Some are familiar, while others really make you think. Most advanced user friendly Sudoku app I’ve come across.
Ads are way too frequent
I used to like this app a lot and think of it a lot more highly than other sodoku apps but the volume of ads has just gotten insane
Love this app; please bring back custom colors
I really love this app and use it most days. However, I’m upset with part of the new update. I really like the new note number highlights, but I am disappointed that the ability to change the colors of the cell highlights and drawings has been removed. I spent a lot of time fine tuning the colors so they were exactly right. I don’t like the original colors as they aren’t distinct enough from eachother. I much prefer the colors I chose. I really hope you bring back this feature as I really miss it. Thank you.
Too many ads now
Been playing this for over a year and I understand I have to view some ads but recently the ads have been running far too long and far too often. No game justifies this many ads. Life’s too short. Uninstalled.
Great App, Unsolvable Puzzles at time
Been finding recently and traveled down every solvable avenue but some puzzles are simply unsolvable. When you click for a solution, it doesnt logically make sense how some candidates get eliminated

I’ve been playing for a few years. I really enjoy it. They keep doing updates. There are just a few small things I wish they would adjust like one button to highlight the entire puzzle and a button to make it easier to choose multiple non adjacent boxes. I paid for a lifetime membership and it’s def worth it if you’re a serious sudoku player.
Layout change
The new interface ruined a game I loved playing
Just needs 2 changes otherwise it is worth every penny!
I really enjoy this app. I love that it has the smart hints that teach you how to look for patterns. I love that the numbers on the board are so large and easy to see. I wish the numbers you select at the bottom were larger. I use my iPad to play in horizontal mode and the numbers are so small I have to hold my finger sideways. I also wish that it had an autocomplete button that appears on the screen when you are almost done. Otherwise it is my favorite paid app!
Layout Change 😭
Whyyy? This is a 5-Star app, now I don't want to open it. "You can change this game setting back" Noooo, if I wanted to change the setting, that's when I should find it. This was the best sudoku playing I've had, it was a perfect app, why fix things that aren't broken 🙃

You x out an ad, only to get more ads, pop ups, website redirects, and app crashes, only to close it out and do an ad again
Recent ad changes
I was really happy with this app for several months. I use the free version with ads. They were reasonably timed and not a bother until a recent update, where now the bottom ad banner expands over the screen every 15 seconds during the game. Very annoying, and enough to convince me to find another app.

“Master” not hard enough
Was looking for a challenge and paid for “Master”. I was disappointed that the puzzles behind the paywall are still quite doable.

Really awesome app with a TON of puzzles. Just really missing dog of war puzzles and then I’ll be complete. That’s only reason 4/5.
Ads continually cover the game screen
I used to like this app, and was happy with the occasional ad that popped up. But lately ads in the bottom banner reappear every 10-20 seconds and partially cover the screen making it impossible to play. Very annoying.
Good App But Going Downhill
Only recently found this app and was really getting into the different variants. However the most recent update seems to have removed a lot of the variants from the free tier, notably the Renban, German Whispers, and Jigsaw ones. It would be better if every variant had a number of free puzzles, to encourage you to pay for premium if you want more of them

look. this is it. this is really it. sure, it’s not james sinclair, but it’s a wonderful collection of some really great puzzles with an insane variety of variants that will keep you occupied for ages and ages. for free. this is a five star app. this is a *six* star app. this is a masterpiece.
No ads= big lie
I got this sudoku to replace my former sudoku app because it was advertised as having no advertisements. Big lie, huge advertisements that take over your screen and don’t let it go. Sometimes if the advertisement starts running at the end of the game, you cannot even get back in to see your score. I am willing to pay for an ad free experience. This app does not deliver.
Great app for more challenging sudoku variants
Love this app for the variety and difficulty of puzzles and would definitely recommend for anyone who is bored of regular sudoku! Took a star as recently the app has started pausing my music/podcasts/audio books at regular and seemingly random intervals. Doesn’t seem to be related to ads or triggered by anything specific so hoping is just a bug that will be fixed soon.
Bugs
Keeps randomly opening safari and redirecting me to websites I’ve never been on, I can go days without this bug, but then it can happen up to 10 times in less that 3 minutes. I was enjoying this as my favourite sudoku app but this hasn’t been resolved so I’ve had to delete

Ad Wall Makes the game unplayable literally
Ads are one thing, but when the game can’t play them e.g. for no service areas, it literally softlocks you.
Challenging, fun, but too many variants
Having not done Sudokus for many years, I can recommend this as a good and fun challenge for new and more experienced players. Being somewhat experienced, I started at Medium level, but am finding the puzzles more challenging than expected! Overall, I’m enjoying it. But there are too many variants to get to grips with, although you can access the explanations easily. Then another variant is introduced when you’ve only just started to get to grips with the last one! Having said that, I’ve not yet come across my favourite variant: the Jigsaw sudoku. The overall 9x9 grid is the same, but in Jigsaw sudoku the usual 9x9 square blocks are irregular shapes in which to fit the numbers 1-9, still within the overall standard grid. So it’s a fairly easy fun variant. Being a ‘more mature’ player, I do appreciate the easy zoom feature, which works without having to go into your phone’s settings, especially as I have a smaller phone and screen. Please keep adding new puzzles: hope I can eventually progress to the harder levels!
Games good but
Great games, but it won’t show any ads (I am connected to the internet and deactivated adblocker) and now I can’t continue playing

Great app. I really enjoy the variety of sudoku challenges available. “ Thanks for giving” such enjoyable avenue in sudoku variants. I. Find not all the adventures are available on My MacBook apps, is this common and does it have to what right you have for apple users?
Very disappointed
I rated this app 5 stars in the past as it is beautifully made, easy to use and filled with most amazing sudoku variants. I don’t mind the ads, they were never intrusive and the app has got to make money. However, ads now appear randomly IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME WITHOUT WARNING. This is a step too far and has ruined the app for me, happy to watch ads between games but not during. Will look for another Sudoku app that doesn’t interrupt my game.

Von Heute auf Morgen schlecht
War bis vor ein paar Tagen ein Tolles und vorallem werbefreies Sudoku. Im Grunde war das auch schon alles was ich wollte. Nun von heute auf Morgen kommt Werbung und Sachen die zuvor ohne Probleme gingen nun nurnoch mit Premium einstellbar. Ohne die plötzliche änderung 5 Sterne

Solid App but…
Its a good app, I love all the variants for sudoku available. The interface is great and easy to use too. I wish that I could use the data transfer feature without getting premium though. Also, there are medals you can get apparently but I have no idea how to get them.
