Terrible UX design, this app needs an overhaul.
Cannot Modify or Cancel Booking
I cannot find any where on the app to modify or cancel a booking I tried getting help using the useless AI chat page and that told me to look on the app, nothing! I tried logging on to the web page to do it only to be told I had to use the app as I had booked on the app. This needs sorting out as I had to ring the hotel and change my booking dates, fortunately the stafff at the hotel were very helpful unlike the app
Unstable App
Just booked our first set of reservations. App keeps coming back with “Oops! something went wrong, please try again later.” message. Had to kill app and restart it to make the initial reservation. You setup payment in the Account profile yet when you go to book it doesn’t use that information and forces you to re-enter all of it again. Why bother having that function in profile. Net is really poorly done design and functionality.

Used this app to find a great stay at Japan! Pleasantly surprised by the great cancellation policies and beautiful properties.
Can’t add booking
The OPT code didn’t arrive in my email within the window to enter it into the app. Tried many times.

Overall app is pretty good but can’t view terms and conditions when clicked onto it.

Impossible de modifier la langue et la monnaie. Tout reste en anglais et en dollars. Impossible de réserver et de payer en euros. Mauvaise expérience.
Amount change
In summary and paymentpage, total payable is IDR688,550. When I click make payment the price changes to IDR765,000. How could be ?

Huge performance issue that hurt the business.
I got the 16 pro and the app drains my battery. The app burns my phone crazily whenever I am trying to book a hotel.

Is this a real app?
You can’t even sign up for an account. “Oops! Something went wrong, please try again” Tried on their website and it is non-responsive. I like their hotel properties, but stay away from their app.
Unable to change date
Please fix this issue! Would love to book through the app but i can’t choose the date that i preferred. It keeps changing back to tomorrow date instead.
Properties does not really endorse the use of the app
I actively used this app for my bookings with Ascott properties in Singapore. However of my 2 stays, both properties does not really use the app. It is good for my own tracking but in reality not very useful compared to other hotel apps. 1st stay at LYF. Lyf has their own app which you must download to check in. lyf’s app makes ASR app feel alot more boomer. They have digital phone key for access and a chat box to communicate with the reception people. Well great no chance to use ASR app at all. 2nd stay at ascott orchard: so when i first got this app, i added my prior reservations in - so i booked studio premiere suite but on the app they put one bedroom premiere suite. Okay i thought was an auto double upgrade due to my platinum status. But at check in, the reception does not recognise the app’s information and insisted to go with the original booking. I still have the screenshot. They say there might be an issue with the app hence i wasnt given the one bedroom premiere suite. Great I was played around by the app. Or so I thought... But now it looks like the app loves giving me the double upgrade that i will likely not get as i am again auto upgraded to the 2 bedroom premiere suite. Wow! I can’t wait to see if the hotel will honor this. But if it doesnt and continue insisting that the app is glitching,... then perhaps its time to delete the app. The app cant be going around giving double upgrades only for the upgrade to be not honored on the day of check in. Thats just like my ex bf who overpromises and underdelivers.

Easy to use app to book and check my accoms
Frustrating
Cannot paste passwords into the app when trying to sign up. When you try to retrieve a booking it pops up a modal that it needs more info, dismissing the modal redirects you back away from the page where you could have inputted the information. Horrible

Awkward app
For a big company, the asr app is ridiculously difficult to navigate. I like many of the asr properties, but I am forced to use third-party apps to book my stays.

Can’t even retrieve my reservation
I just downloaded this app because I booked a room in Singapore for 3 nights. But, I’m not able to retrieve my reservation? Also, it took numerous times just to set up an account on this app. Not planning on using it - doesn’t even work.

Love the ASCOTT Group
ASCOTT provide costumers residences with low price and good service. The app is clean and efficient. Please consider adding a function to create membership card to Apple Wallet as all mainstream hotel group do that and it is a reminder of unused points.

Horrible app and customer service
The app and the web version are the absolutely worst among all hotel service providers. What’s worse, I reported missing points to customer service, who said they would look into this, but never replied again after 10 more email communications. Avoid this brand at all cost!!!!
