I Fly Garuda to Indonesia
I used to fly Singapore Airlines to Indonesia from Singapore. Since 2018, I started flying Garuda, as I realized that Garuda is comparably in cost, comfort, timing and most important, service! Since then I like Garuda. Punctuality, it is still good.
Hardly works
Such a bad app. I can’t see my bookings. I used to be able to see it but it disappeared. When I try to add, it says the information already exists. What’s the use of the app? When we changed our flights and was able to see it, it wouldn’t display the correct date. I usually fly Qantas and thought I’d try Garuda this time. Wow their app provides everything. Garuda really needs to work on their UI/UX.

Edit garuda miles ribet. Kudu input lagi tanggal lahir. Padahal dari pertama udah diinput. Kalau penumpang cuma satu atau punya sendiri sih okelah. Ini satu kode booking bisa sampai 9 penumpang kan ribet 🤬 Terus skrg kalau check in online harus input ulang kode bookingnya. Padahal check in nya sendiri dari trip yg udah didaftarin

Useless App, incessant notifications
This app is garbage. Firstly, you get 3-4 notifications DAILY with marketing/deals, so I figured I’d go to the notifications settings and turn them off… NOPE notifications settings have been “under maintenance” for weeks, and if I use my iPhone settings to just turn them all off then I miss the important notifications about my flight…. Checking in didn’t work, the nationality field is compulsory and didn’t have “Australian” as an option, but had “American” on the drop down three times… couldn’t get my boarding pass in the app either. The actual flight and service from staff was good, but this app is pointless.

When you go to put your contact details the country code buttons don’t work. You delete the pre loaded 62 and can’t load your country code. Very painful customer experience. iPhone 14 pro
Still Buggy
It is wonderful for booking, but many features still buggy to be used : checkin and refund. i had still to go to counters

Tiap buka my trips mesti loading terus error, pas udah ada tiketnya mau ditekan buat liat detail tiket malah can't retrieve the ticket, perbaiki dong ntar saya telat mau check in online :(, sama pas mau check in online malah error your booking can't be found:((

Shows incorrect flight and tickets
Garuda forced a flight change by 1 day upon my departure for the booking. This caused new seat allocation for 8 passengers which shows correctly in the website under the biking number. But the app is only showing the old flight information which is now invalid. I have removed the app, rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app. But as soon as I log into the app the old booking appears. How can this be fixed, as I cannot use the app to do anything related to my booking like lounge access etc as the booking flight information causes it to fail as invalid.
Loading lama
Tiap mau buka current ticket, loading lama. Termasuk mau buka boarding pass buat tunjuking ke petugas Bandara. Barangkali pihak garuda bisa memperbaiki kualitas aplikasi ini.

Worst App
The worst app ever invented! Nothing works not even reset password! Simple thing like OTP doesn’t work after 5 attempts! Garuda, you really should give up with the app. Doesn’t work on App Store or Playstore. Can you please remove from App Store asap?
Extremely unhelpful app
This app is so unfriendly. I am a frequent traveller and use several airline apps which are easy to operate, do not drop out or take long periods to change screen or load info. Garuda need to junk this app and start fresh with a different developer.😡😡😡😡
Booking is easy, however confirming data takes a long time, therefore very frustrating to use.
Have tried many times and eventually gave up to add my international flights. Not a very user friendly app

Useless apps
The apps is useless. It took hours for me to work it out.
App difficulties
The Garuda app would not take my international credit card, so I was forced to use another cash account. This problem has occurred on two occasions and with multiple credit cards. The app does not display well on my iPhone. It was difficult to see the fillable fields with the top portion being fixed and the bottom portion covered with the keyboard. I could only see a portion of one line as I filled in passenger and payment information. Lastly, make the Garuda website useable for searching flights and purchasing tickets.

FAILED TO RETRIEVE TICKET
Always fail, I didnt event get emailed about the flight itinerary or anything. The app failed to retrieve ticket all the time. What the hell???

The most recent update finally lets me logon and see my trips, but they have the flights BACKWARDS! What should be a trip from Singapore to Manado is listed as Manado to Singapore then a few days later the return trip is similarly reversed. ( It still shows up correctly on my web browser and on my android, thank goodness)
Major improvements are required
For a 5 star airlines, the app is really poor. Slow response UI, when make booking from website will not automatically appear on GA App you need to retrieve bookings manually. Showing error messages multiple times, promotions are poorly advertised, they really need to improve their mobile App and catch up with other 5 star airlines.
Absolutely Useless
Since they have changed the app, even though I have an upcoming trip 13/09 there is no record. I sent an email to customer care to see if they can add it on supplied them with the booking number and I thought they will. Well after 4 emails sent I have given up. I then tried to check in via website no luck desperate now I rang the call centre needless to say my request fell on deaf ears. I even sent an email to Garuda Miles to find out since the change why have my points declined even though I had references for all my previous bookings the answer I got was more than 6 months ago, but thank you for choosing to fly Garuda 😢😢😢 this will be the last time I fly with them a poor customer experience

This is not salty but this apps deserve less than one star rating, I’ve never given a rate online as long as still acceptable but this apps never been improve since, I’ve been using it several years now and it getting worst, the apps is so slow, bug everywhere, error most of the time, even accessing your own miles never been possible! Trust me, you guys need to improve, this is too bad, wake up! Everyone else trying to maximise their online platform yet this Garuda apps is downgrading.
Very poor design (among other things)
Fix this app. Too many delayed responses. Often things are just clunky. Don’t look like they’re native on iOS rather a website displayed via the app. Not intuitive interface. Bad English (truly appalling)

Love this app. Great for managing my flights and checking in before a flight. However every time there is an upgrade the app loses my trips. I have to add them manually

The most useless airline app
This app cannot record my upcoming bookings, nor it is easy to navigate and nothing seems to work, EVERYONE NOW USE THEIR MOBILE APP TO MAKE BOOKING, if you really care about customer’s convenience on making booking, maybe start fixing this app, because it’s absolutely garbage. Your competitors are having huge breakthrough and all Garuda’s app doing is crashing down and no improvement!

Has to be better
After selecting date and other fields with drop down list, the iOS app screen has no option to go to next field. It is not user-friendly to touch elsewhere in the screen to go the next or previous field to get back to the data entry screen again. Surely the app has to be revamped and even overhauled to simplify screen navigation.

Can’t use, little to no support
I’m a Platinum Garuda flier and cannot manually add Garuda bookings to my app when my membership number has not been picked up in my booking. I’ve tried using their chat support with no success, they just continually ask me to try later. Really poor experience for a basic need to have my bookings listed in the app
Decent app - can be better
Does not allow to search international flights - I tried searching for Beijing to Jakarta, but the option for Beijing does not show

Hanya bisa untuk online checkin itupun harus copypaste booking code. Tidak bisa manage garuda miles. Seharusnya bisa minimal jd e-boarding pass jadi bisa go paperless.
