Awesome app! Need sync improvements.
Been a supporter from day one and it’s just amazing on so many fronts. Especially not having to mount my phone anymore and just use my Apple Watch is extremely convenient. There’s one thing that needs improvement with syncing gear to Apple Watch. When I add a new kite it just won’t sync with Apple Watch. Also after closing the app on both Watch and iPhone, keeping them nearby and opening the apps again. So I’m going to try a re-install of the app to see if that fixed the issue. Other than that, keep up the amazing work you’re doing ❤️

Die App funktioniert grundsätzlich gut aber für garmin uhren (ich habe die garmin instinct 2)ist die Kompatibilität leider sehr eingeschränkt (ich z.B. habe keinen live Jump Support( das bedeutet dass ich nicht die Länge, die Höhe, noch die Dauer der Sprünge messen kann))! Wem diese Einschränkung jedoch nicht betreffen oder es ihnen egal ist, für die sollte die eigentlich eine der besten Wahlen sein!

I want my basic features back
I really used to like this app. I used it in combination with a Garmin watch, which tracked my sessions without the need for a paid subscription. The features that the basic version provided were completely sufficient for me, and I really liked the statistics it offered. It’s sad to see that this app has also turned into a money-making machine. With the new version, even the basic features have become more limited. I can’t see those without paying for it anymore. It’s a shame. I want my basic jump stat features back.

The surfr gang have created something amazing. It does everything and has a clean user experience. I wanted to measure my jumps with my apple watch. It does that and a whole lot more.

The app is constantly progressing ! The new UI on Watch is seriously better ! Features & design turn on a the good way for a serious success ! The UI of the IOS app could be challenged and review. But for a « new app » it’s already on a good level ! With surfr you never missed a jump & jump height look very close to the reality. Best app & tool for kitesurfing !
make calibrations a phone push notification not a on-water-frustration
they’ve forgot that design should be useable. fonts should scale even when the user doesn’t have reading glasses on 🙄 - no one has reading glasses on when they’re looking at a watch on the water - pls make display size user controlled, make watch data glance able ; not squint mandatory

Find die App richtig gut, schon allein weil ich nur noch die Watch zum tracken brauchen für Höhe und GPS. Aber leider sind mir beim Übertragen schon zwei Session verloren gegangen, in der Apple Health App tauchen sie auf, in der Surfr App nicht…. das ist dann sehr ärgerlich

Bonne application, facile à utiliser. Top avec Apple Watch mais pas très fluide avec Garmin. Synchronisation de la montre (pour d’autre données que Surfr) perturbée depuis le téléchargement de l’app Surfr. Aussi, plusieurs session de kite n’ont pas été téléchargées sur garmin connect j’ai dû faire appel au service client de l’app Surfr pour les avoir.
Great to track sessions
Have been using this for over 2 years. Helps track what gear you use, various analytics, and of course jump height. Has its bugs and might just miss your best jump, but still a great product overall

Barely register any jump on a fully compatible garmin watch i’m paying 8$ a month i expect the app to function at least a little

Ich finde die App klasse. Sie ist präzise und einfach in der Anwendung. Warum ich ein Stern abgezogen habe…? Ich würde mir wünschen, wenn es diese App auch in Deutsch geben würde. Vielleicht bekommt ihr es ja noch hin.

Great app and excellent support team
I use this app to track my kitesurfing sessions, snowkiting, and most recently winging (be in on land, snow of foiling). Has multiple uses and when used properly it is quite handy and accurate. Customer service / support team is very helpful and efficient.
Sperate di non avere mai problemi
Incredibilmente non riconosce più la mia mail. Non esiste modo autonomo per risolvere il problema. Pago quasi 50€ euro di abbonamento l’anno e non ricevo assistenza. Sono arrivato in Brasile per una vacanza kite e non posso usare app. Sto impazzendo. Mi hanno praticamente riposto dal centro assistenza dicendo: “arrangiati, ci siamo presi un periodo di pausa non possiamo aiutarti, cerca da solo nell’help center” cosa ovviamente già fatta prima di arrivare a scrivere una mail. Assurdo
I had a problem due to a bug and the Support contact
I had a problem due to a bug and the Support contacted me promptly and with a solution on the same day. However I must say.. even with the new Ai the phone seems to miss a lot of jumps. This applies especially to FLYSURFER foil kites where the lift is not as abrupt as on tube kites and the Hangtime much longer. Before the AI update the app was missing almost no jumps. I hope the AI training will improve over time and also receive a 2nd alignment path that is properly tailored to foil-kites.

Ich habe die App mit der applewatch genutzt - da funktioniert sie sehr gut. Vor einiger Zeit bin ich auf Garmin umgestiegen - hier auf den Epix Pro gen2. Die App trackt an guten Tagen ca die Hälfte der Sprünge wenn man sie 3-4 mal neu startet. Ob der höchste Sprung getracked wird hängt vom Zufall ab. Ich werde in Zukunft wieder ohne fahren, da man sich am Ende nur mehr ärgert dass die guten Sprünge nicht dargestellt werden. Die zwei Punkte also nur wegen der Apple Funktion.
Waar zit de pro knop
Ik wil hem gebruiken op m’n Apple Watch, maar ik kan nergens subscriben als pro user. Heel irritant
Great water sport tracker!
I use the Surfr app to track my kitesurfing sessions and really like the ease of use and the presentation of data. Most helpful is the feedback on jump height and time in the air immediately following any jump which allows you to know how you did after every jump. The ability to easily start and end each session using the Action Button on the Apple Watch Ultra is also very user friendly, and recording sessions on the watch without any connectivity is also a great feature. Well done team Surfr!

Great app, great data, needs some improvements
I love the app, love the data it collects and love being able to watch the info on my watch while I’m kiting. I don’t like that it doesn’t export my heart rate data to Strava.
Must have for kiteboarding.
I finally got my board mount and love the app. Couldn't kite with out it. Great to keep you motivated to work on the right tecqnique to jump higher.

Erg tevreden met de app. Enige wat vervelend is dat je niet kan uitloggen. Ik gebruik de app op een gedeelde telefoon dus het zou fijn zijn om van account te kunnen wisselen zonder de app te hoeven verwijderen en opnieuw installeren.

Filter is not working as expected
E.g. I filter by “Female” and now I see male and female together, but the position I think it’s updated. 😅 It used to work before. But now it’s not working. Maybe the getAllFemale backend call is not working. 🥹

-Está programado horrible, elegir una foto del perfil es imposible, ni se encuentra la carpeta de “favoritos”, que consigues con cualquier aplicación sin problema -No funciona con Apple Watch -Quien lleva su móvil al agua -Dudo mucho que funciona bien, si ni han conseguido programar bien….solo elegir una Foto de perfil es una aventura

Cool idea. Flawed implementation
I don’t get to kite much, but every time i do, I’m order to use this app i have to upgrade the app completely, recalibrate, wrestle with flaws in the app being able to detect that it does indeed have location permissions. Not a great experience Paid 45 bucks to basically record two sessions. I hope it gets better, maybe I’ll try again in a couple years.
Fun kiteboarding with your friends
If you are into kiteboarding and started jumping already this app is a must have. I use it to challenge my friends and myself to become a better kiteboarder. The app interface is intuitive and easy to use and the Wetsuit mode makes it super accessible for everyone to start measuring how high they jump.

Impossible démarrer une session
Aujourd’hui j’ai ouvert l’App pour enregistrer ma session de kite et impossible de démarrer l’enregistrement!! I Il n’y a plus de bouton pour lancer la session en mode wetsuit avec l’iPhone dans la combi…( et je n’ai pas de Apple Watch encore). J’ai relancé, ensuite supprimé et rechargé l’app mais rien. En suite j’ai souscrit à la version PRO ( 14 jours essai) mais ça n’apparaît pas dans mon profil. Je commence à douter de la qualité de cette app que j’appréciais auparavant.
