I have used this app. for several years! Overall, easy to use, good metrics, etc. I do wish, however, that it would connect with my NK SPEEDCOACH and allow heart-rate inclusion, but I still enjoy the app!

L’App funziona anche bene e la mappa è ben fatta, ma… Ho avviato la prova gratuita che corrisponde ad un periodo di una settimana e nella pagina degli abbonamenti c’è scritto che i soldi verranno prelevati dopo la conclusione del periodo di prova. A me sono stati prelevati subito! Inoltre non esiste nessuna pagina o bottone dedicati alla richiesta di annullamento della prova gratuita! Adesso come faccio a chiedere il rimborso!?

Great tracking, but impossible to stop session in real water conditions
I’m using this app on an Apple Watch Ultra for kitesurfing and downwinders. Tracking quality and data are good, but there is a serious usability problem in real water conditions. When the watch and screen are wet (which is unavoidable in kitesurfing), the touchscreen often cannot be used reliably. At the same time, the app does not provide a proper hardware fallback to stop or end a session. The Digital Crown and side buttons cannot be used to stop the workout, so you can get “stuck” in a running session until the screen is completely dry. This is not a hardware issue — it’s a design issue. In water sports, apps must support stopping/ending a session via hardware controls (e.g. long press on Digital Crown, button combination, or Action Button on Apple Watch Ultra). Relying mainly on touch input does not work in real-world conditions. I really like the app and would be happy to keep using it, but this is a critical problem for kitesurfing and similar sports. If the developers could add a reliable hardware-based stop option, this app would be excellent.
Great Application
I have been using this application for three years to track all my paddling sessions. I have to say I love the ability to look at my next paddling location and check the weather via this app. It does make planning very simple. Some of the new features that have been added that I really do appreciate is being able to track the total mileage of all my sessions along with looking at how much I’ve done per year. I just have to say I’m glad this application exists and it does make my ability to track everything so simple.
Unusable in the water.
For a water sports app it should be usable in the water. Other apps like dawn patrol have figured out ways to be usable by turning the crown and more. With water droplets on the screen you can’t get back into water mode, you can’t pause a session, you can’t end a session. You have to wait until you can dry your watch face and your finger. You guys need to learn how to add the crown to functionality.
Max Speed?!?
Love the app but it shows my max speed being faster than my car. There’s no way I’m kayaking up to 40 km/hr
Nice app but buggy as
Been using this casually for years but lately has become even more comical with its results. Standing still after starting it up and you have magically traveled 50m ! Max speeds are always reported way way faster than possible. Totally unusable for serious training.

I’d like to like this app, but it doesn’t sync to iPhone! It doesn’t add a workout to the Fitness app and it’s data doesn’t appear in the Health app.
More control over display of data
I wish the app would allow the user to have more control over what is displayed during the session, for example I would like to see my current speed in large characters and the time. I wish I could also set the current gear I’m using for the session, for example I would like to set the kite I’m using and the board, foil board, to track the sessions i kite surf or Kite Foil.
Losing record
Love this app. Was working great up to few weeks ago. My last 3 sessions at first they work because I can hear my watch talking every time it announces my km on the water however when I come out I look at my watch and the all is closed and didn’t save my session. I even did lock mode and it still wasn’t there. Hope they can fix it because I used to love this app.

Works well, but it is still missing something
I use it for standup paddle board, and it certainly records a good amount of metrics, but it is still missing metrics related to paddling, like strokes per minute, total strokes, etc.

The app works fine until it decides wipes all your information with almost 200 miles of tracking wiped.I’d suggest get a better app as the customer service not very helpful
Useful with cross tracking issues
I was very excited to use this app. Features very similar to RunKeeper with specific paddling settings. I have an iPhone 11pro and and Apple Watch SE. All permissions between the app, Health and the watch are on and open, but none of my paddles have recorded in my watch activity whether started on the phone or watch. It’s really frustrating. I’m fairly tech savvy and even had a friend more tech capable check that all was correct. 🤷♀️ I don’t want to delete it and lose all my tracking for the past month.
GPX Datei ohne Daten
Eigentlich eine tolle App, allerdings sind die exportierten GPX Dateien ohne Daten so dass ich sie mir nicht über andere Programme oder Apps aufrufen kann. Das macht den Export für mich sinnfrei und die App ist für mich so nicht nutzbar. Schade.
Annoying change
The app is good and I wouldn’t mind a one time purchase but I don’t really want to pay a subscription. I can no longer post my route to Facebook without a subscription. Will look for another app. UPDATE: After the developer responded, I patiently waited for the update and it finally came, however it did not fix my problem that I complained about.
Great App for Tracking Kayaking
This App is great, it does everything I need. Tracks my routes, works between phone and watch, shows my distance, and speed. Glad I found it!
Complete and utter failure
Ahead of a bucket list trip down the Colorado River beginning at the base of the Hoover Dam, I purchased this to have a documentary trace of my time with my son and his Boy Scout troop. We canoed for three days through the Black Canyon and I started a track each day. While the app was able to provide some data about distance and time, we were on the water for 6-7 hours each day. Each day, the app killed my Watch before I was done paddling so I could never close my loop. When we got back home, I wanted to share my life-changing trip with family and friends. I had three records. All of them showed 0 miles and no capture of the trip. Thank you for negating my records of my bucket list trip. Worthless. Garbage. I have no records. Failures. I want my money and my trip back.
Overall, great app! Am having trouble with a couple things
Love this app, overall. I rely on the audio mile marker callouts and appreciate the maps and collected data. The newer video route feature is an added benefit. I could use some help. There used to be a summary page for the splits. I can’t find it any more. I miss it, as it was one of the more useful tools for me. I often paddle 6-12 miles, and the summary is much more useful than the detailed info for each mile. The second issue is that I frequently paddle with a friend and we consistently get different mileage. We both have iphones ( one is a 10 and one is an 11). We use the same app, start and finish at the same time, paddle the same route. She consistently logs more mileage than I do. On a paddle earlier this week, I had 7.03miles and she had 7.68. That is about a 10% difference. The further we paddle, the larger the discrepancy. Why is this happening and who has the right mileage?
Unfortunately no Strava or Apple Health Integration
Unfortunately I struggled Sharing my SUP workout session with Strava, Garmin, Apple Health or any other platform which I use to collect my other sports‘ activities - not even in the premium version... :-(

The analysis and functions you get for the paid subscription are not worth the price. The free version provides the speed, distance, and time which is enough.
Disappointed
I am disappointed with this app. Ever time I tap on the “graphs” link in the app, the app crashes. What’s even more disappointing is I paid for a subscription and the app continually crashes as described above.
Pro features?
I am a very active paddle boarder and love to use this app for tracking my adventures. The tracking of my route, time, distance is all fantastic! Love that it is compatible with the Apple Watch. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I would like to possibly upgrade to the pro version however no where does it say what features are included with the subscriptions if you could inform us users of what’s included I bet more would subscribe

Very cool app, BUT it won’t sync to my phone regularly
I love tracking foiling, kiting, paddling, etc. the sync mechanism is broken tho! I have tried ‘resend’ a few times, but nothing happens. Need to fix that.
Full features and works great with Apple Watch
Starting, pausing, and ending a session all on my Apple Watch works great while kayaking even though the watch is covered with wet paddling glove sleeves and wet shirt sleeves the entire session. All the metrics I could want are there, including time spent in heart rate zones, top speed bursts, calories burned, etc. Totally recommend this app.

I paid for this app twice, because it showed that go to subscription screen and not my tracks like in the trial version. I was thinking that my trial ran out and paid again NOT COOL. The app works really good aside from this bug. You need to fix this bug ASAP, then I'll change my review!!!
Does exactly what I need it to
I had a bumpy start with this app in the beginning. Just some activity saving issues and communication. Everything has long since sorted itself out and it has been working very consistently. My wife and I use this to track our SUP sessions. It’s very easy to use and captures a lot of data. It’s easy to start, pause and stop workouts. It communicates with Apple health. I recently tried the pro features for a week, but don’t really need that kind of info these days. While I do paddle for exercise, I paddle on perceived rate of exertion vs a bunch of stats, and really only like to see my distance. The app does show my speed as 0 quite often(green line), even when I’m clearly moving. Not sure what’s up with that, but the distance still tracks (I think).
Not great to sync with Apple activity
I have the subscriber version. Unfortunately I get heart rate chart unavailable and the calories burned don’t sync with the Apple Activity app. I use the latest version of IOS and Watersports. Apple Watch 4. iPhone 11. Also Apple Activity calls my sessions as Surfing, although I am either foiling or kitesurfing. (Different disciplines). I don’t have similar issues with Dawn Patrol.
Odd new version after not using it for some months.
Been using a version I had not paid for.The only reason was unlike the built-in watch fitness tracker it gives the option o generating an animated map. Used it today and said I needed to pay to get the animated map feature so I got a one year subscription. I’m OK for paying for features but the animated map seems to be a step backwards as far as sharing it. I finally ended up using the iPhone’s screen recording to record the map to kind of get the old style map export.
Almost exactly what I need
A few minor features I’d like to have, like remembering your recent workout types and putting those at the top or vibration feedback when your watch is under your wetsuit. But overall works in all the important ways.

Could be great
Good basic app for paddling and the paid version looks really good. However, the paid version is a subscription which will get to be a bore at some point. Moreover, there is a bug In this app that will interfere with Apple Music and drive you crazy. Let me know when it is fixed...otherwise ..,no thanks
Useful app, but doesn't back up your data
This app is cool and I've used it for a couple of months. However today the kept crashing when I opened it, so I tried deleting and reinstalling it. The good thing is, the app no longer crashes, but the bad thing is that apparently the app doesn't back up your data anywhere, so now all my workouts are gone... I'd suggest adding backup to iCloud or some other option.
Wish there is HRM on iPhone app
I love this app and have so far recorded around 400 miles of paddling. Use it for kayaking and sup. One feature I desperately looking for is the ability for the iPhone app to connect to a HRM and provide all the details. In case when I can’t use the app on my Apple Watch, there is no way to get heart rate stats even if you have a chest wrapped HRM. Would love to see that feature
