Missing a WOO Day Challenge. To see on the water how high my friends jump (live tracking) and having a competition! The rest of the WOO is super nice 👌🏻
Einfach unausgereift
Auch heute wieder hat sich die APP auf der Uhr einfach wieder mal deinstalliert weil die WOO wieder mal ein halbdurchdachtes Update geliefert hat. Also mal wieder keine Stats auf dem Wasser. Selbst ihre Animation schafft es nach vielen Jahren immer noch nicht den Trick zu erkennen. Und dafür wollen sie dann auch noch monatlich Geld. Hatte echt gedacht die können sich wenigstens mal einen guten Programmierer leisten nach der Übernahme. Aber das ständige Streichen von hohen Sprüngen und nervige Zwangs Updates ist wirklich keinen Cent wert! Back to SURFR
Software mit Potenzial
Die Idee und die Funktionen sind super. Die Oberfläche der Software ist allerdings nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
Most accurate of them all
They’ve had some bugs but that’s because they’re working on new stuff. Overall it’s way better than Surfr app. More accurate by far. (That’s why only surfr sponsored people use it). Pair it with an Apple Ultra watch or Garmin and you’ll see. Woo is the best one out there and it keeps getting better. Keep it up Woo engineers. 🤙🏼

Giving up
I’ve had 2 woo’s. Both stopped working lasting about a year. I decided it’s too expensive to keep buying the new one because they’re clearly not built well enough to last. I actually liked the Apple Watch app so carried on using that. However the most recent update seems to have broken Apple health connectivity which I liked because I was also uploading to Strava. So giving up all together now. Might try surfr.

Bien et très intéressant mais sur les site de vente ou le site de la marque on indique pas clairement qu’il faut le téléphone pendant la session pour avoir la vitesse et d’autres info.. Sinon c’est justes les hauteurs et l’angle d’attaque.
Awesome job with the latest update (spot analytics)
The app has always worked well but you could tell it was missing some powerful analytics with all the info people were gathering (best spots, wind direction, kite quivers, etc), now it’s there! Really good insights on the best times to visit certain spots, awesome job!

Buggy software
Ok multiple occasions when I try to upload, I get a Request Too large error 413 and puts me back to upload. The error is not useful. Sometimes, the app hangs while downloading and then I lose my data altogether.

Hardware good, app pretty mediocre
Forces firmware update before being able to download sessions. Have lost sessions because the update then bugs out multiple times. Don’t know why it doesn’t back up the data first to the phone before a firmware update. Generally the app just doesn’t feel polished, there’s a weird jank to it. Only rating the app here the hardware is very solid and works great.
Useless without internet connection
Hi Woo team, This is the third time I’m writing to you. Your app is useless with no internet. Stop making me log in again and again. I was in an area with no coverage and basically had a 200$ brick. Fix this!

The data from Apple Watch does not sync with the app. This makes woo pro useless. Who goeskiting with their phone? No one. You built a watch app but don’t transfer the data to woo app on the phone? Very amateurish.

Very happy with my woo, altough the client service could be better send them A mail 2 days ago and no response yet
Pretty poor
If just using to show height then fine but got apple for new apple ultra and there is no ability to export gps track (gps fit or tcx) if you log your combined fitness into like Strava or map my fitness …. Also gps routes crucial if working on discipline like kitefoiling or racing … what a disappointment

What happened to big air analysis by spot?
Buggy and no customer support. I start walking away from WOO
I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I recommend the WOO to anyone and gifted to friends to spice our sessions. As soon as the membership system came out for the freeride sessions I joined immediately. Now and there there were bugs but overall it was my kite log diary. Now it’s unusable: on the apple watch once you start recording a freeride session the stop will not work. So it never ends recording unless you kill the application and loose the session. For the last 2 months I’ve not been able to upload any type of session. It says it cannot find the server. I started using other applications, more reliable and less expensive. It’s a pity. And all this because THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE: - no way I can open a ticket and monitor the follow up - no way I ever got a reply to any of my emails. Again, it’s a pity because the community part is awesome but... as a kiter and a member of the community I can’t participate any more as I can’t upload sessions, and don’t know anymore where to address my problems. It’s a shame.

Disappointed
I am disappointed by the UX of the app, I find some features counter intuitive, for example if you record a big air session and a freestyle session you can’t download them both at the same time, you need to change the mode on the woo sensor first, also when you want to see a session you have to click on the image, clicking on the title or info doesn’t work etc. Also my Woo keeps turning itself off, so I have to check every 15 min that it’s still on during my session..

Leider ist die App auf dem Iphone recht träge. Oft dauert das Verbinden mit der Woo recht lang.

Bad sensor
The 3.0 woo sensor is not reliable. Already had it replaced once as it died and would not start anymore. Happened again now and they will not replace anymore, want me to buy a new one...
Super Teil
Aller super, macht genau was sie soll und das sehr zuverlässig. Das teilen mit Freunden und schauen wer wann wir unterwegs ist finde ich super und motiviert
Ohjeh ganz schwache App inzwischen
Der Spotfilter funktioniert nicht mehr. Einer der Grundgedanken dieser App geht damit ziemlich verloren. Was will ich wissen ob ich weltweit Platz 4000 und oder so bin. Interessant ist doch was wer an dem Spot bis jetzt gesprungen ist. Würde derzeit einen WOO bei dieser Problematik nicht wieder kaufen.
Missing games?
I’m not seeing any of the options to select snow or wake games. Does the new 3.0 version no longer support these things. Also, when I switch the game on the app, it does not change the LED on the sensor. What should I expect in the 3.0 version of the product. It feels like something is broken.
Awesome App and Product. Love my WOO!
Been using this app since day 1. Had a woo 1.0 and now have a 2.0. Love kiting with woo it's super fun and has definitely helped me push my progression. I think what I love the most about the app is seeing other sessions from all over the world and using the Explore feature to check out new places to ride. You def get some fomo when there is no wind at home and your buddies in other places are posting sessions but it's all good fun.

A lot of Kiter's complaining about their Woo not being able to download their sessions lately. I also can't and emailed support , but no response yet.

Great app! Great system! But it keeps telling me “server error, please try again later”. Hope you guys can tell me How to fix it, or you can fix it!!

Verbindung zum Server klappt nicht. Schade. Die Abo-Idee ist auch miserabel. Sehr schade.
Kann App nicht auf meine Nixon Mission laden
Die App und der Sensor funktionieren jetzt nach dem Update super, dann habe ich mir die Nixon Mission gekauft, da sie auf der Liste der kompatiblen Uhren steht. Jetzt sagt mir die App, dass für beiden nicht kompatibel sind. Welche Lösung habt ihr?

What the hell happened?
First off I will say the old version was pretty functional and intuitive. Not sure what they were thinking with the re design. Several features are gone such as the ability to look at your session before uploading it. When looking at your session jump history the bigger jumps are no longer highlighted. When you select the spot you have to type in the entire name instead of the first few letters like the old version. It takes a extra button push to view the people you are following. When entering data in edit mode the keyboard gets in the way. I'm sure I am missing a few other regressions.

Hat einer von euch Erfahrungen damit gemacht, dass nach dem Update auf 11 die Woo Daten nicht mehr auf das iPhone laden?
It's brilliant, but very expensive!
The app itself is super and I have enjoyed looking at the stats and following riders. However, was shocked when I looked at going to buy the small device (woo). It's really expensive at $199. I think this is a shame. Great concept, but out of reach for many people I think, due to the cost.

Prinzipiell funktioniert das App, allerdings könnte man noch weitere Punkte implementieren: - Durchschnittshöhe zB. In einer Session Leider komme ich aktuell nicht mehr auf meine Sessions. Immer Server error...
