Refocus
Walking through perimenopause, owning two service based businesses, a new position of husband traveling for weeks at a time, a fresh empty nest, that all followed the emotional roller coaster of a pandemic. Positions that constantly require managing other people’s emotions and expectations both personally and professionally left me void. Void of thought and direction. However, I realized when I thought of a particular person they began showing up somehow. So much so staff and my kids decided perhaps I was a witch or some sort of mystical magician. I decided I would try to turn that into something. During that time I listened to a pod cast with the creator of this app. I immediately downloaded it. I’ve been listening ever since. It really does make a difference. And while often times my mind will wonder while listening I am often pulled back at the right moments. There are so many to listen to and choose from. From writing prompts to just music to specific manifestations. This has pulled me up and helped me focus repeatedly. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is seeking who they are, who they want to be, and help righting your mind in a positive direction without toxic positivity.
For people you like being told
This app is entirely about telling you what you do. Some people love it. But it never get into how to do it. It’s like saying to an insomniac “just fall asleep”. I felt more anxious after a session than before.
Great activations, app could use work
Love the activations (content and variety of options) but the app itself has pretty basic functionality. For example, you can create playlists but not organize the order of the included activations. I also wish you could queue activations similar to a music app. Hoping the developer can improve this!
Too expensive
Just writing a review so people are aware before they download and are forced to sign up. I know you can get 14 days free but then it costs $44 a month way too expensive for what it is. You have said to email info@activations if pricing is a concern but that won’t bring down the costs for everyone. Charging almost $50 a month is excessive. I wish you could at least have a few free clips for those who can’t afford it.
Linda Kristiansen
I like the concept, and was really excited about an alternative to meditation which I find hard to do. However - to me - the music is so loud that I had to concentrate to hear what was being said. It became too loud when I turned the volume up. Sadly this made me delete the app.
Game changer!
I’ve always been someone who struggled with traditional meditation and activations has been life changing for me. Whether it’s listening to something motivational on my morning walks or winding down at the end of the day I can always find an activation that is exactly what I need. Subconscious reprogramming is real!
Waste of time
You can find very similar affirmations for free online. The music is annoying too.
My go-to when I need to shift my energy
The Activations app has become one of my favorite tools whenever I want to feel more connected to my vision or shift my state. The sessions aren’t just meditations, they’re more like energetic boosts or reminders of who I really am. Whether I’m stuck in doubt or just want to align with what I’m calling in, there’s always something that hits the spot. It’s simple, powerful, and honestly just really supportive on the manifestation journey. If you’re into mindset, energy work, or just want to feel a bit more magnetic, this one’s for you ✨
So expensive for what it is
Love the app and the concept is great… but there could be so many more activations on there- there is only a handful in each category. The price for what it is, especially as a renewable subscription, is crazy! Won’t be purchasing after the trial. There are thousands of free activations and affirmations on spotify and youtube so why pay such a expensive price for these? If the price was reevaluated and more activations added the app would definitely be worth it as the concept is great and Mimi’s voice is perfect for this!
Be very careful with this app.
Thanks for the refund!
One of my fave apps!
Love the Activations app! It’s such a great way to start my day or get a mid day motivation positive boost. There’s a great variety of audio activations for any way you’re feeling, anywhere you’re at in life, or for any mood you’re in 🤍
Very Poor Customer Support – Refund Ignored
I subscribed and requested a refund for the trial order. It has been months now and I still haven’t received any response from. Ignoring refund requests and leaving customers without answers is unacceptable. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I’m extremely disappointed.
Great
Really great for when you don’t necessarily want to do a meditation but need encouragement and kind words.
Lots of inspiration!
Inspiring content! BUT... 1) For such an expensive app the developers should make the content fit well on the landscape mode of iPads, and on the small screens of iPods and older iPhones like the SE. 2) The different sessions all have huge images with tiny tiny text on the bottom. So finding a session requires lots of scrolling through unnecessary large pics. A handy list would be much better. 3) When a session has ended, automatically another one starts.
Life Changing
Activations are an incredible tool for embodying the life I create. It allows me to tap into my emotions and deepen into the frequency and actions of my visions with more clarity, ease, and positive expectancy.
Cancelled and was still charged
I signed up for the free trial, was really unimpressed with the activations and tried to cancel. It’s super unclear how to do this so I emailed and sent a message. Had one response with vague instructions and managed to cancel. I was then still charged once the free trial was over!
Great App, just needs improved search function
Great app, definitely is lovely and motivating to listen to. Just wish the search function was improved. I searched some pretty generic terms "wellbeing" "career" "motherhood" and not much if anything came up, despite there definitely being recordings in those areas. So it's a little bit tricky to find what you're looking for.
Love it but app Crashes constantly 😢
I absolutely love these activations however the app constantly crashes! If I fast forward or rewind a meditation the app wigs out & I have to go into the meditation again. And Sometimes won’t let me in at all. 3 stars for the crashes...otherwises it's 5star!
Life changing!
I am going on two years using this app. It has shifted so many positive things in my life especially after going through major shifts in my career, marriage and environment. It has helped me catch myself before spiraling, it has changed my internal dialogue, it has helped me bounce back time and time again! Worth every penny! Thank you for putting this out to the world!
Fake free trial
I liked the app but what turned me down was a fake free trial period (2 weeks). They charged me even though I have cancelled it within the trial period. I tried to get to customer support 3 times (it’s been a week) - no feedback whatsoever. Unfortunately, for me this is just one more scam app.
Good app.
The sleep activations are pretty good.
Stepping into myself
I am beyond grateful that my friend told me about this app. I was already in a transitional point in life and had been learning about the intersection of quantum physics, spirituality, and manifestation. This app was exactly what I needed to step into my more aligned self and start living more authentically.
Incorrect charge
Be careful!! Was charged by the app even though I canceled it the day I downloaded it. I have sent proof to activations but I don’t get a response still a week later. App is not worth it. The affirmations you can find anywhere and the range is so limited. Not worth it.
Would be better if there were different voices to choose from
Would be even better if there were different voices to choose from so you can pick one that really resonates with you.
Easiest “feel good” part of my day!
I love the activations app - I’ve meditated in the past but find it hard to dedicate time just to meditation - this app changes all that! To be able to have guided activations that I can listen to while getting ready, cleaning or organizing (yes, there are activations specifically for that!), workout out or before bed, makes it easy to prioritize in my busy day. I love that there are so many different types pick from and everything is motivating, uplifting, positive energy - I even ran my fastest 5k while listening to one! Love this app - it’s easy, fun, and can change the way you approach your day. I highly recommend it!
Wellness girlie rip-off
Nothing about this app feels genuine and somehow it’s giving me a major ick. The Activations app is undeniably well-designed, with a sleek and intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate. They also have a two week free trial which is positive. However, the value doesn’t even come close to justifying the astronomical price tag. For what you pay, all you’re getting is access to around 700 audio clips that feel repetitive and lack the depth or variety you’d expect for such a premium cost. The pricing structure makes it hard not to feel like the founders are using the app to manifest money rather than genuinely help people. If the price was more reasonable (like 10% of what they’re charging now) and the content more diverse, this app could’ve been something worthwhile. As it stands, it’s not worth your money.
I wish dark mode was available.
What a unique concept meditation app. The meditations, motivations, pep talks and music are really nice! I only miss dark mode, as I said, I think it's a really good app, but for that much money I think it would’ve been nice if dark mode was available, especially at night before bed.
Positivity
You are the media you consume. This is what you’re missing in your routine if you don’t already use it.
Not so free
Don’t get the point of downloading the app for free but not being able to access anything at all unless you pay. Waste of time, probably a really good app if you pay, but in that case, just make us pay on the App Store just so that we’re clear and know what we get ourselves into.
I love this app however
I love this app however I wish during the journaling meditations we could somehow see timestamps for the next question instead of waiting as long in between. I liked mimis old videos because I could hover when I could see her stop writing etc
Part of my daily routine
About a month and a half ago I decided to make Activations part of my daily routine and it’s been amazing. Sometimes I just listen to one in the morning and it’s the perfect way to align, feel inspired and motivated and start my day. Other days, I listen to two or more depending on what I’m looking for. I really feel like it’s helped to encourage me and support new habits. It’s a permanent staple for me now.
dont like anything about it :-(
i was disappointed and even slightly angry with the app - the price is laughably high when you realize all you get in return is a small selection of audios. the team justified this towards me with the explanation that with the app your life will change so dramatically, that it is worth the investment. really, people? that is how you choose to „manifest your abundance“? by providing your app only for HIGHLY privileged people and charging these ridiculous amounts of money? i have found amazing activations for free on spotify and will work with them :) the content itself is lacking spiritual depth for me: i do NOT define success in the way the app-creators do, i do NOT want to set my mind up to make loads of money, i strive for peace and love and healing in a very simple, humble life.
Daily reset
This app is a really valuable resource in my daily life.
Sign up compulsory
Having to sign up for a trial before you can listen to anything completely puts me off.
