What people like
- Works great on iPhone devices
- Stops most spam texts effectively
- Much cheaper than big competitors
What they complain about
- Blocks important texts from real contacts
- Paid users can't edit block lists
- Support is unresponsive or nonexistent
- Spam still gets through for paying users
Saved my sanity
I used to get at least ten Republican spam texts a day. This is the only thing that has stopped them. I wasn’t even mad when I forgot to stop the free trial.
Marginally effective
I have extreme blocking switched on which is supposed to block all messages from all others but my contacts, yet I still get spam messages from many others that are not in my contacts
Game changer
Loved every minute of it
Can’t get a hold of support
Would love to love this app, but it categorizes my son’s texts as unknown in spite of being classified as known and being added to the allow list. Written in 3x for help. No response. 🤷♀️
Pretty Good
Downloaded this app to help with spam texts and it’s working pretty good so far tho I am still getting at least 1-2 spam texts a day still.
My spam texts stopped instantly!!!
I use to get 10-20 spam texts a day. Not after I installed this app! Thank you
Does not work!
Not working! Getting spam texts all day long!
Good but could be improved
This app works well on the iPhone, however blocked/spam sms’s stay in the current folder if you use Mac to see/respond to SMS’s, which in my view is a major flaw. Because your iPhone is protected but your laptop is wide open.
No customer support
Daily texts are getting throgh with no way to speak with customer support. Getting ready to cancel subscription.
Won’t load
I have this app on my Apple phone and it works great. So my wife asked me to load it on her Apple phone. I get to the point where it asks for the sign in code. That works but then it does nothing after that. I was going to try to reinstall it, but it won’t let me delete it. Very frustrating.
Love this app
AWESOME!
Spam getting through
Not working for me
Bueno
Parece bueno dejaré más adelante una reseña…..
Spam texts show on my Apple Watch but not on phone
I can see spam texts on my watch but can’t find them in any of the filters in messages. Today I got an obvious scam text, yet I can’t find it on my phone so I can’t report it.
Cant add more key words
It worked great for my free first week. I added 7 keys words to block and that worked great. Now that my free week is up and i am paying I can't add any more keywords or phone numbers to block. Text Spam is getting through and I'm bummed that I can't proactively block them. One the whole I am getting much less Spam but for $70 a year, I want ZERO SPAM please. Help me add more keywords.
😍
I don’t write reviews or personally recommend.. I have done both with this app!
Not free
I really wish they would tell you up front when an app isn’t free, so I wouldn’t have to waste my time setting it up. This the one star
Great app
Great app, works pretty well. Bug though as trying to report spam in Messages the dialog comes up but then crashes. So cannot report spam.
No success
I’ve been paying for subscription for a few months and suddenly the app cannot verify my subscription. I’m done with this. Good bye!
Very slow and still allows unwanted texts through
Not happy with this app at all. They allow scams from the Phillipines to get through to my phone where the person is claiming to be looking for work. The app itself is very slow to work and crashes regularly. Not impressed at all and do not recommend. It filters only the bare minimum of texts and for $99 a year that’s insane. Please fix this app.
Kill dah Texts
Great app! No more nasty political rhetoric on my phone! Love this app!
I t’s not working at all after the first few months.
The first 6 months I had i, the system worked perfectly. Now, it’s as though it was never Eve installed and I still have 6 months of service left.
Just what I needed
I received 3-5 spam texts daily. I only downloaded this app yesterday and I haven’t received any after! Amazing. And it’s free:D Thank you!
Free version doesn’t really work anymore
The free Fusion used to work at least a little bit, now it doesn’t really work at all anymore in iOS 18.6. The “report junk and delete” button briefly appears when you open a spam message, but it quickly disappears. I haven’t seen anything show up in the junk folder in the iOS messages app for several weeks. Not sure what the difference between this app and Robokiller I can’t get past phone number verification in Robokiller at all.
Uninstalled due to security concerns
I don't want to share text messages containing sensitive information like bank security codes with the developer. I'll filter text messages myself because it's safer.
Blocking all the the unknown texts 10/10
I started getting a bunch of random text and didn’t realize they were spamming so I was looking around for blocking unknown numbers apps and saw this 10/10 works. I wasn’t expecting it to like how other apps say but this thing is a 10/10
The App that never was
9/15/25 downloaded it for a 7-day trial; here 5/6/26 and it still tech supportdoesn’t work even after a1-2/2 hrs with
Works some of the time
This app does not work as advertised and support is nil. I’ve contacted them through their portal and only get auto replies, we’ll be right with you. Basically, when you put in numbers to “Allow” texts to come through, many times they don’t, and then you have to go hunting through your spam to find them. Due to the poor customer support, and prefect performance, I will not be renewing.
The Does Well & Does Not
It basically does the filtering job great! I do understand that its AI is still learning, so that’s why time to time, you still need to check the messages it has filtered out coz it filters out some as spam even though it isn’t. 1 feature that I believe is crucial yet not working (so far in my experience) is the “report message as spam / not spam”. I have submitted countless spam tag reports on certain messages yet to this day, I still receive the same messages. So I hope they get a fix on it. Be subscribing again by then.
Finally! An App That Gets Rid of Political Donation Requests Costing Thousands in Messaging Fees!!!
My phone was receiving hundreds of text messages requesting donations but the texting fees charged by the cellular service provider was becoming high too! Also, when I paid a bill using the 2-Step Authentication process texts for donations and product sales notices would be received seconds later. This was too much and it took time out of my day to block numbers and delete the texts. It was worth the expense to purchase the Text Killer saving me a lot of my personal money and time! 👍🏻
Abandoned?
A year of no updates and it no longer loads for me and is blocking all texts…
Used to work
They did the thing where the free version works great, but the moment they want you to pay all functionality drops off. No way to change/edit blocklist for keywords/numbers, and the app hasn’t blocked anything for a solid year. Very sad to see a great app go out like this.
Great app, but mis-filters contacts as junk
Great app that does indeed filter out most spam. Unfortunately it’s also marking some texts from my contact list as junk, so I’ve suffered some problems missing important texts. That’s a pity, because it really does eliminate the spam!
Dean
This app is the only one out off 8 apps that I have tried that killed every text! It is absolutely worth it! 60 spam texts a day to ZERO!!
Trial not working-no spam text blocked!
I subscribed to Textkiller because it is associated with Robocall, and I am very happy with my call blocker. However, followed instructions to the letter and it hasn’t blocked one spam text. Deleted it.
Code doesn’t work
I’m paid up but when I try to sign in, the code sent to my phone never works. Yes, it is entered correctly.
Paid membership still getting spam messages
Even though I am a full paid member spam messages keep coming 🤔
It works!
This app actually works and doesn’t cost $100+ per year. I’ve tried tons of apps including the main security apps and nothing is as reliable so far.
Not on Mac
Great on iPhone, but it doesn’t work on Mac.
Spam texts
Very disappointed. You are not blocking international spam texts. I’m getting multiple texts with as many as 16 phone numbers on the texts. I have a requested a block on all international numbers but they still get through.
The Best!
Best App I’ve ever used. I went from getting several hundred political and spam texts per week to virtually none. Did not have to use word triggers either!
This is scammer central
As soon as I signed up for this I started receding tons of scams.
Still getting political texts
At 1st the texts were minimal but getting several a day now. Not what I am paying for.
