Great service
Recently had a breach at my company (very large, multinational company) and ScamCheck was apart of the package of ID monitoring software we were given and this is a great app for quickly checking things on your phone for scam/scam intent!
Not Blocking Anything
I’ve been using the app for 3 weeks and it’s not blocked one spam call at all. The only numbers being blocked are the ones I’ve entered manually.

Addresses a deep concern
I’ve been dodging Many pop-ups over the last several months. This program answers that what if with the sigh of relief. There ought to be a program that does this with all random pop-ups .

Works
Good luck
Does not do what it say
I would give this a minus ten billion if I could
Needs an update
Despite working well enough, scammers and spammers are now sending photos as attachments - but no text - which this app can’t recognize as spam and I can’t report as spam either bc it relies on a text message to highlight.
Not so grate
Well not sure yet hot it blocks spam calls have not received any bad ones yet, and as sms not sure ether yet normally I do get junk msg's but sense installing this app have not had any, as for VPN don't use it it completely blocs web sides even simple side like dockdockgo search page, and as for games any online game gets blocked and there is no allowed or pass true option so VPN in this app is dead issue.

Nothing here makes sense to me. I might as well go back to snail mail

Thank you
This app is so helpful and much appreciated!!
Very disappointed
I purchased this product, there is absolutely no way to get in touch with anybody. All they do is provide is online help topics. I am very frustrated with this company.
SPAM SMS blocking not just SPAM
This used to work pretty well but now I am getting just as many legitimate messages being filtered to the Junk folder then actual Junk. When I tried to go to your help site and even the AI help, all the instructions were incorrect. I would be ok if there was an easy way to re-categorize those texts, but there is not. In addition, you get no alerts about receiving texts in your junk. So, unless you go in on a regular basis you can easily miss important texts. Is there a possible way to improve this and at least get notifications on received texts (even if filtered out to Junk)?
Stopped working
I loved it at first it blocked call & text now it appears it’s not scanning anything. It won’t refresh nor does it show who it blocked. I have to reset myself.
Very Good
One of the better security measures Trend Micro offers
Doesn’t work
They say they remove sms messages with keywords that you select. I entered “your payout” I received two texts in the following hour. I goto to get support and then they try to charge you to fix what doesn’t work. Total scam

Not blocking political spam
I’d paid the yearly fee to get the intolerable amount of political text messages to stop and at first it seemed to be the fix for this problem but now every day I’m getting these maddening messages again. What a total waste of money to have paid for a service this app cannot provide.
Unblock
I am trying to unblock a phone number and I have not purchased the premium subscription so I'm going in a loop trying to contact someone to learn how to do it. When I go to the app it's just trying to sell me an upgrade.
Nice. Blocking calls
Nice job on the updates. The spam from calls is working great I would like to see the widget get updated.
Was good & even free, but not now!
It was good and even free and then one day, they did an update and the app wanted to me to start paying for my subscription m. So, I left and now use the much better NomoRobo Max!
Scam Check works!
This app and it’s free predecessor worked unbelievably well to rid me of a ton of unwanted political solicitations. I am concerned, however, that there have been no updates for almost two months after seeing weekly updates for almost a year after switching to the paid version.
Worked, until it didn't
Did a great job filtering political texts, numbers were also easy to report. Now it's letting political texts through and the Report Message is blank. Seems dead in the water. And even when it did work, why do I have to open the app and manually start an update every few days? That should be happening in the background.
Great program!!
This product works so well, I forget it’s on my phone until I get a “Scam website” pop up and then I get out of that page.
Can’t delete app
This app has been stuck on my phone with no way to delete
Does not work on political texts
Worked fine until we have an election !!! So MANY POLITICAL TEXTS!!! It is supposed to stop ANY NUMBERS not in my contact list!!!
Works well but not transparent until you delete it and notice what it's been doing
Works a lot better than it lets on. I had received no feedback from the app that it was working, and the "filtered by tmcheck" folders in my messages were totally empty, so I deleted the app. Suddenly I had 270 unread texts from like grocery stores and stuff. Reinstalled the app from my iStore downloads list directly and the 270 texts disappeared again, but now it's claiming to be a free trial when it was simply a free service before and i'll probably lose coverage from the app after who knows how long (doesn't say). Welp.
Love this app
It’s amazing go get it!
This was an interesting scam app
It makes sense though… Release a free app and encourage your users to freely provide input to your AI engine by reporting spam, keywords, bad numbers, etc. Then screw them all, take their work, and sell it back to them. This previously provided good message filtering but now I need to pay to use all that work I put into tailoring it. I thought Trend Micro was better than this.
Unfortunately
2nd number not available for Canada
Deleted
Never seemed to do a whole lot before, rather buggy ability to report scam texts. Suddenly it actually seems to do something, and now they want subscription money. I had already moved to reporting scam texts via forward to 7726 anyway, deleted this junker. Apparently I was just helping them develop their app and tune their filters before…goodbye.
How does one subscribe?
30-day trial ended and I want to subscribe but subscribing through the app doesn't work and I haven't found a way to pay online either. Attempts to get help are met with automated responses and no answers that fix the issue. So... they don't want my business is all I can figure. 11-12-24 update: It took almost two weeks but I figured out myself that the problem was that in-app purchases in my iPhone Settings was not enabled. It would have been nice if TM Support could have pointed me in that direction to at least check it. I have since found a different spam blocking app that meets my needs.
New Scam Check is Awesome!
With all the unsolicited political texts floating around this is a necessity! I’ve used this for a while to help reduce scam calls and noise from unexpected text messages. New feature to check for scams does exactly what it says it does. Helped me identify a few scams already from texts sent to “support a political candidate”. It checks the phone number, the language, and even links in the screen shot and gives great security guidance on legitimacy. Highly recommend!
Stopped working
I used to love this app and recommend it to everybody. It was great filtering text messages by keyword plus you got a phone number. You could use to give out so you didn’t have to give out yours. First, the phone number randomly went away, but it was still OK because you were able to filter text. Now you can’t even use the app. I’ve tried to delete it and re-download, but it no longer works. Too bad, it was a good app and they went and ruined it Don’t waste your time on it
TM Check
I just recently got the app and so far, I think I’m liking it. I’ve rated the app 4 stars for now and it seems I’ll probably raise my rating. Jury’s still out. Totally free ? Hoping for the best!
DO NOT UPDATE
I've been using TM Check free version for a couple of years with great satisfaction. I updated the app on iOS version 18.0 and it's terrible! I can't log in after updating due to a new log in window mandating a subscription. I'm ok with paying a subscription if I could log in! Every-time I try to register new, I receive the notice this account already exists. I was online with tech support chat window and was continually disconnected, I lost track after 8 disconnects. I checked my internet service and had no speed issues or connectivity in the area. The tech rep was not knowledgeable. I refer this app to many people I know but after this disaster, I will not be referring.
Works Reasonably Well
The fact that this app is able to stop spam calls at all is a plus. I simply didn’t want a call blocking app that used call forwarding to an A.I. assistant. At best it is a call identifier when the phone rings. The number lookup is not very accurate. It has the usual blocking list and allowed list created by the user. There is some other stuff like text blocking. For that there are better apps out there (Junkman).
