Disappointed
First time I try this gave my email and set up a password. It wouldn’t let me it kept telling me I had the wrong password. How could I have the wrong password if this was the first time I attempted to set the app up. Waste of time!
5/10
Missing milage not possible to remove field and no customisation does not always connect
Can’t figure how to link data to Strava
I used the app to record my first workout and despite it saying I can upload to Health or Strava, nothing is happening so this is frustrating
Decent but too unreliable
Connection to bike computers are a bit erratic, occasionally have lost workouts as Stop button refuses to work despite rest of app apparently working fine. Have also had numerous occasions when Strava upload doesn’t work at all. Compared with all my other workout related apps this is the most problematic.
Wonderful
Wonderful machine to train for Ironman.
Doesn’t connect
Doesn’t even connect to the bike in the gym
Good but needs to support heart rate from an Apple Watch.
I use this app at the Y during spin classes to record my workouts and import them into Strava, which is where I track my fitness goals. Both Apple and Strava can do a really good job of assessing your workout, but they need heart rate to do this. The biggest deficiency of the app is that it does not track heart rate, even though I have an Apple Watch. The app does support heart rate, but is really fussy about where it gets the measurement from, I haven’t seen anybody use such a device in the years. I’ve been doing spin classes on lifecycle bikes.
Issues Connecting
It seems promising to track and connect my rides to strava but I can’t get it connected to the bike
More about the equipment
App has had a refresh since I last used it (3yrs ago) and seems considerably better for it. However, when I try to pair my HRM to the spin bikes that are used in my gym, often it freezes for some conditions and/or fails to pair. HRM connectivity to my phone is robust. Would it be too much to pair to the phone and align it with the bikes (robust without HRM) pairing!??!
I like the app a lot.
But please stop asking me to rate it.
Connect?
These stupid bikes never connect with the app, or the app never connects with the bikes. Either way it’s nearly useless.
No Strava Integration
The app is great and has plenty of good information but the lack of Strava integration is pretty annoying.
Has The Right Features - But Incredibly Buggy
This app has the right features, and is good when it works, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost my workouts either cause I switched apps during the workout or turned off my screen for an extended period only to find the app had crashed and nothing was saved. It’s infuriating after 1h30 session to find nothing is salvageable. The app also doesn’t feel native and feels clunky. I have a 13 Pro Max, and no other app feels this way. It would also be great that If I didn’t start the app with my bike, the app should be able to receive from the bike the entire session. Please cache workouts periodically e.g. every 2 mins incase of app failure and allow the device to get the entire workout if I set it up later into the bike workout
Connecting
Recently the app stopped synchronizing with Apple Heath and fitness app. Disappointed
Great product
Use the ICG setup at EOS. Love it. I love the metrics the bike provides. The app helps me track my progress on strength and endurance. I wished the bike computer would transfer the watts/hr stat, but other than that, the app is great.
2015 wants their bike app back
Using this app is a true experience, nothing like syncing with a bike, finishing a workout hitting stop, do you want to stop and the app still not registering your workout. Doesn’t connect with Strava, and if it does it’s not easily done. I wouldn’t waste my time syncing or registering for an account. This lacks any sort of friendly UI and is obviously not made with any sort of love for those that cycle.
New to ICG training….
Just getting used to the settings and navigating thru a session….think my experience will improve with time. Miss a little of my instructor’s presence and also not really concerned about constant improvement and new personal bests….to what end? I have cycled for nearly 5 years usually 6-7 classes a week….challenging workouts, loud music and fun people are what got me committed to cycling….if that continues I will be a ICG fan. Stay tuned….
No recording training
Even though it confirmed connection to device, it’s not recording the training completed
When it works
Good app on the whole, good stats and data. Easy to use. It’s problems are in the connectivity to the bike and in particular saving data. I have lost multiple sets of session data at the end of a session as it fails to save, offers a retry and disconnects. Needs sorting.
App glitch/error when click to save ride
App glitch/error when click to save ride Please fix this issue
Terrible
Did not work at all for the bike. Worthless app and shouldn’t be used.
Great App
It helps keep me motivated during the ride. Glad I don’t have to enter all the information to start power training if phone is connected to the bike. I little confused about how the points are calculated in the stats as my rides tend to be similar.
Data increases not saved.
Any updates to personal data (eg FTP increases that are manually increased) aren’t saved.
App not saving
I’ve been using ic7 bikes for a while now. They are good but the app is not saving my data on my last 2 rides - which is really annoying. Ive deleted the app & downloaded it again, so hopefully it works.
Update difficult to Connect
I have used this app for over 2 years and really like it. Today (4/10/24) the update to the app would not connect to my phone (Tried other bikes too). A complete power off and restart of the phone (12Pro) did allow it to connect, but it seemed to struggle. I’m still rating as 5 stars, but this might be future problem.
God son
It’s very challenging and difficult to use this app and to connect it to the bike
Indoor cycling
This app is useful as you have options to take a coached session or a virtual scenic route. The scenes & music are great they encourage me to work hard so I always gets very decent workout.
Improvements needed
The app has a lot of potential. I’ve just been having lots of issues with lagging while training, app loosing connection with app. Suggestions, downloadable training modules for poor signal area such as garages etc. if the lagging persists might have to cancel subscription
App
I like using the app but only had it 2 weeks so bit early to judge
Puerto Rico
Es una herramienta espectacular. Siempre la utilizo.
Not good
Terrible app. Not user friendly at all. Does bot stay connected with the bike and you have to connect every time. Does not transfer miles to iPhone fitness. Does not come close to peloton. Getting deleted.
Great app; more workouts please
Great app for tracking and motivating you to use the bike but could do with a greater variety of workouts eg shorter ones
Potential but needs stability improvements
Constantly freezes up when on the coaching option. They need allow download of the coaching stream. Please fix this!!
Struggle to connect to Strava
Not totally intuitive how to see your data and when to save? Also can’t connect to Strava if you have linked your Strava account to Google as google won’t let you sign in through the ICG app
Love it
The app is my go to at work. It does all the things I want and need it to do easily. What More can I ask!
Terrible
Uploads miles as kilometers. If you ride 20 miles then it only gives 20 km in the app and any other connected software. Not sure why ICG doesn’t care to fix this issue, but it’s pretty annoying.
This thing is one of a kind
It is very useful as it keeps track of your training and gives you a lot of different types of exercise a real training body. The only reason I ready for is because the connection is crazy. It is not easy it doesn’t connect so fast on my iPhone 13 but other than that it’s my go to very fun to use once it’s connected and also it wouldn’t be fun to be able to just buy those glasses that they offering instead of a subscription cause I don’t like subscriptions. They add up you already have the TV already have the household everything is subscription then when you have to come to the gym and have a subscription to many things to keep up with just sell the classes
Apple Watch support?
Does not pull heart rate data from Apple Watch. Thought the new app version would show this but for the most part HR stays at zero. Too bad, I liked this app overall, but had to move to Training Day which has an Apple watch companion app. :(
Not fully exporting data
The app has an integration with Strava, however ICG doesn’t send all the data from. For example, speed and distance data (likely other data too) are not transferred to Strava. What is crazy is that they they used to be sent to Strava, but I haven’t seen those metrics exported for over a year now. It would be great if this could be remedied.
Connection
Still trying to connect with Strava. Sent an email to customer service but no answer
Inaccurate and awful menu
300 watts feels like an actual 600 watts. (I’m familiar.) And the menu is impossible to navigate or understand when you’re supposed to do something. The bike and app were connected but yet were showing two completed different things. Get yourself a wahoo kickr instead.
Why?!?!?!?
I wish the app didn't convert my miles to km every time I save my workouts, why, does it do that?????
Not intuitive, can’t sync to Strava
As well intentioned as this app is, it doesn’t seem to work well. UI is highly unintuitive and I’ve not had success syncing with Strava. I did get it to connect to the bike at my gym, but so far I’m not impressed with this app
Almost perfect
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - is there a future update in the pipeline so we can use an Apple Watch for HRM integration. This app is the only one left I use I have to dig out my 10 year old decrepit chest strap HRM for! It would also be pretty cool to see the burn ring on fire on my watch and would build massive intrigue for the rest of the spin class not using your app currently!
Excellent free workouts!
Have many options to choose from.
Does not connect to class
No connection.
Seems like a pretty good app
I like it, don’t know about all the features yet but it seems pretty good
Music decision is huge.
Instructors use this.
Could be better
Great when it works, recently the app has not saved my workouts (although has exported the data to other apps) which is becoming increasingly frustrating. Also would be good to have it connect to Apple Watch heart monitoring, and for the resistance to transfer to Strava.
