Underwhelming and horrible functionality
Horrible to navigate. Designed for sales? Doesn’t even show details of policies. Pointless.
Finally back to normal
Was a fine and useful app for keeping an eye on pension growth, but for the last week it just hangs while trying to load. Eventually says no internet connection, but every other app is working so that’s not true. Tried deleting and reinstalling but did not help. Can’t give stars for an app that won’t load. Update: Downloaded app update after developer response, but it has made no difference - still won’t load. Second Update: After 6 months the latest update seems to have fixed things at last. Back to being able to keep an eye on payments and performance with a handy app.
Cash in and returns
It’s good to see what’s going into the pension but you can’t see where the growth is. Would be good to see how much cash has been put in and how much it’s grown / decreased in real time.

Simple to use and very clear nothing to complicated for us mere mortals. Shame my pension investment doesn’t seem to be increasing at all .

Can’t log in
I set up my online account this morning based on emails from yourselves. This was setup with a username that you supplied and a password and pin that I set up. Now I come to download the app and login. It asks for an email address and password which doesn’t work so I tried the username which also doesn’t work. Please advise or rectify. Thanks.
Nice app but..
The graphics look great and the app is very responsive however the single most important thing everyone with a pension pot is interested in which is to see the actual gains from the investments, is nowhere to be found.. honestly why not show either the percentage or actual money gains other than your contributions? it is the most important number when deciding where to invest your pension

What happened?
I updated the app which has always been excellent and now nothing. I can’t login at all. It has been over a week and I still cannot access anything on the app. SW you are better than this. Please sort it out

I am genuinely wowed by the Scottish Widows app! 🤩 I’ve experienced and used quite a number of apps, particularly within financial services, but this one beats the majority of apps I’ve experienced. The most relevant features are immediately visible, and each page opens so seamlessly that it almost feels as though the app senses your touch a nanosecond before you click! 😂 The interface is incredibly smooth, intuitive and responsive. What impressed me even more was how easy it was to complete my pension transfer. I completed the entire process in less than three minutes! That level of simplicity and efficiency is seriously impressive. I also love the colour palette and overall tone of the app. It’s bright, fresh and visually appealing without being overwhelming. The whole design feels sophisticated while remaining incredibly user-friendly. It honestly looks like millions of pounds must have been invested in creating such a brilliant digital experience. Bravo to the developers and everyone behind the design and overall look of this app. 👏🏽 You’ve absolutely nailed it!

Frustrating and time-wasting!
Tried to log in in many ways! Used autofill with my password book, manually typed a password, and it still refreshes to the “please type your password” thing. When on the computer, everything works perfectly! Gave up! Don’t have time for this.
Share price calender options
App for invested pension funds desperately needs a feature to allow you to adjust the date period for the funds to see the performance - at the moment you have Max or one year … not great

Finding it difficult trying to speak to a human advisor . Two days running I’ve hung in for 10 minutes then asked for a return call which hasn’t happened.

I downloaded and used the app for a trade, only for the £5 refund of a fee. The old iWeb website was basic, and this app just presents that website, with some extra frippery. Worse, on log in, I get my total worth presented as my ISA, no mention of my dealing account. Let us be clear; no-one can believe this app is functional, or even pretty but we consider it because Lloyds who own Scottish Widows are a big name, and the account fees are low. And a fee refund. It will be years, if ever, before this app earns a spot on my phone. I’m sticking with the shabby but functional website.
Need to easily compare funds
I would greatly appreciate the option to compare all the funds I have selected at once. So a table with all the funds listed how much I’ve invested and their performance over different periods of time. It’s so clumsy having to go back and forth to look at the different %
