Highly customisable
So many controls including the app home screen can be customised to my liking. I find it very useful for set up purposes, to set touch control functions for instance. Firmware updates are also straightforward. Solid app for my AZ100.
Ads for new headphones
I just now received a notification advertisement suggesting that I replace my older headphones with a newer version. There is no way to turn this type of notification off. This is completely unacceptable. I paid full retail for these headphones and they work perfectly fine. I will NOT be replacing them any time soon, and if I do, I will no longer consider Technics - I have had ENOUGH of the constant badgering from corporate America.
Easy to use app once you know how
I have had the AZ100s since release-I’m severely autistic with mild intellectual disability & severe epilepsy (its caused a lot of memory damage so it makes me reliant on support staff who often know little about this tech)I need crystal clear sound for music therapy which is why i finally went to ‘the dark side ‘ and chose my first ever Bluetooth ear phones, id always stuck with my old but super trustworthy SONY MDRV700s. At first I found the app very confusing especially combined with the high maintenance needs of these earbuds. So i got into the habit of making sure they were both out of the cradle before launching this app, pairing them (I’ve never had to re pair mine), I make sure I clean them perfectly well. follow the YouTube videos and you shouldn’t get to many app errors about failure to charge. I find the app does the job for me, but it would help if language and instructions were made easier and more accessible for people with different understanding needs.

タイトルに書いた通りです ｢ヘッドホンを探す｣は2つの方法を選んで失くしたイヤホンを探すことができますがどちらもゴミ機能です 1つは「音を鳴らす」 Bluetooth接続できている状態で使用可能で音を鳴らすというものです これいりますか？ 普通に適当に音源流せばできます Bluetoothで接続してないと鳴らせないって、こんな機能つける意味がないです 落として失くした場合はBluetoothが切れますし、基本的に音を鳴らさないと一定時間で電源が切れる仕様です 落とした場所に行っても繋がりません もうひとつは「位置情報を使って探す」 これすごいのは名前だけでカスすぎます 最後にイヤホンが接続した場所を表示するというものです ここだけ聞いてももういらない さらに言うと更新頻度が終わってます 現在7/28ですが、現在この機能では4/6の位置情報を表示しています どういうつもり？ こんなカスみたいな機能を持ってきて、「落とした時も位置情報で探せるので安心!」みたいな顔されても困ります
Great, but could be better.
The app should provide the capability to set the charge limit of the earbuds, and the case. Setting the charge limit will extend battery longevity. Other earbuds, and elections in general, are already providing this capability. The user interface could be better. I’m not a fan. Also, there are sentences in the menus that are awkwardly written, reminiscent of poor translations. I’d give it 3.5 if I could, but not 4 stars.
Maybe I got lucky?
Works pretty much flawlessly for me. Then again, I am still running iOS 15 lol

アプリケーションの使い勝手が低すぎる。接続済みのイヤホンすら認識できないアプリって存在意義すら無いのだが…何回ペアリングやり直させるの？ やっぱりPanasonicはどこまでいっても、Panasonicだな。当たり前のことが当たり前にできない会社。 それとも外注か？外注なら直ちにその下請けを切るべき。ひどい。
Add a widget
The AZ100 are great. The app is very solid. I would love a widget to quickly toggle between Spatial Audio/number of connected devices/LDAC. I love the abilities, but needing to dig into the app to change these things adds friction.

I love Technics products . I have the EAH-AZ 100. They sound good . Not better than the AirPods Pro. I am happy with them though. Or should I say I was happy until I got my iPhone 17 pro. The headphones don’t even show on the new phone . I’ve been waiting for a whole month now for an update from Technics . Nothing . So I basically spent $300 and now the headphones are useless because I can’t connect them . I have deleted the app , reinstalled it , restarted the phone …and nothing !

イコライザーの調整ができなくなった。アプデで解消されるかと思ったが、全く改善されない。
EQ problems
I had an EAH AZ60 and have an EAH-AZ80 The app mostly works fine but I still have problems with the EQ. Adjusting the custom eq does not come into full effect until a song is skipped or restarted. Whatever setting I have changed mid song seems to change again when skipping back to the beginning. This makes the adjustment process a bit difficult since changes aren’t direct. The eq is less effective when noise cancelling is on so I have been using them without it.
Incredible Companion App
I honestly have no idea why there are bad reviews on this app, works flawlessly for me at the EQ feature is market leading, obsessed with my AZ-80s
Support is the worst ever
Lost my case and contacted support to get a new one, then I spoke with someone who directed me to amazon who directed me back to them who directed me back to parts who did not respond to my message so I went back to technics and they did not reply either

Tracking a lost unit
If you lose your buds, you won’t be able to track it unless it is reconnected somehow. Unit should be trackable whether or not it is connected to a device. $300 gone just like that. Shame on you Panasonic
custom eq won’t save
love the earbuds, but the custom eq isn’t saving even when i save it. please fix this dude
Great app.
Love the ability to customize the sound and the noise cancelling. Especially on long flights. Ideas: have the app automatically connect to earbuds when I start using them instead of having to open the app and wait to connect. Tell me how much charge I have in the CASE not just the earbuds. This really helps to know when I need to charge either case, earbuds or both.
App broken
This app isn’t able to detect my headphones, even after repairing and rebooting numerous times. Very poor experience for such an expensive product.
Request: AZ100 Preset
Please add a preset for the AZ100 which is Treble+ with less bass! I can’t recreate the Treble+ with the provided EQ sliders.
Nothing special with a major flaw
The app does not show anything and cannot use its features unless it is connected with the headphones. Not a big deal unless you are trying to use the ‘last location’ feature to find your headphones… which then makes the feature utterly useless… Other than that, he app does the basic stuff one would expect to accompany upmarket earbuds (AZ 80) in my case, but is not intuitive.
Overall ehh
Ambient Sound Control becomes unresponsive and cannot switch between (ANC on / off / transparent) often. Battery level display is inconsistent

イコライザやフィッティングは良い機能であり効果を実感する。 ただ、「ヘッドホンを探す」において「位置を確認する」を操作した際、 肝心の【最後に確認した位置情報】が前回接続以前の情報となっている。 (アプリ起動時、iPhone側への位置情報チェック自体はかかっていると思しき挙動を見せるが…) この位置情報リフレッシュ処理が適切に実行されさえすれば、iOSのショートカット機能によってBluetooth接続→アプリ起動により使用時の位置や、イヤホンのみの紛失位置なども擬似的に追跡できる(AirPodsの様にビーコンとはいかないが) 次回アップデートでは検討されたく思う。

Bought A800 sounds really bad right driver sounds more than left. Than app its lagging crashing takes too long reconnect what not says about sony,noise canceling not working properly or its really bad .

If you can only find your earbuds if they are connected, this important feature is useless!

Absolutely love my A800s and my AZ80s. Being able to control everything from the app is really helpful since I can never remember all the touch commands.

If the app actually syncs when you open it , it is by far the most comprehensive but it is a total toss up if it wants to open properly and sync so it’s a one star

This app has worked perfectly for me, my only guess is that there must have been an update or something since all of the other complaints were made. The app is easy to use, effective and definitely adds to the headphones. The headphones themselves are great as well.

Does exactly what you need it to do. Documentation presentation is poor, they need someone like me to convey information to the end user better, however the app compliments the hardware pretty well.
Decent
App continually disconnects from iPhone 13. ( I run beta software. ) frequent errors. Marginally acceptable for use as medical transcription device. All apps and drivers are updated. Volume settings are OK. Distance is very close. Product support online is not helpful. Uncertain if hardware or software issue.

I am so frustrated with this app
Same problem that has been mentioned before I was able to use the app for the first few days and then it would say that I had to pair the earbuds with the phone when they already have been.
Good app except for one thing
Please add a function to lower the volume on the lady screaming in my right ear that ANC/Ambient mode is on/off. Why is she and the beeps so loud? The point with noise canceling headphones is to allow you to listen to stuff at lower volumes since you don’t need to drown out outside noise by increasing the volume. I already have tinnitus in my right ear, I bought these buds NOT to make it worse. Please?:-)
This app has major accessibility issues.
I got the az 40 because I wanted to see what they sounded like. The headphones themselves sound incredible, but this app has major accessibility issues. First of all, when navigating to the buttons with the screen reader, all you hear is button, button, button, because they are not labeled properly. The only reason I know what any of them do is because of the text right next to them. Also, the equalizer is in accessible to screen readers. For an EQ to be accessible, it needs to have sliders. For example, when the screen reader encounters a slider, you will hear 50%, treble, slider.
Keep an eye on the batteries
I owned a few different ear buds but these are the only ones I have to check on. To make sure the batteries don’t die or get damaged also my Sennheiser momentums 2 are also on this list just discovered this issue don’t know which one is worse. More soon as I discover more

Worst app ever!!!
The app worked for the first day I got the headphones, but the next day it would say I didn’t connect but they were connected... The headphones on the other hand, they are they best and I love them!
Solid app with a few suggestions
App works well, no major complaints. Headphones sound very good, and love that each earbud can be used independently. A few suggestions that I personally think would be nice: Allow customizable controls. I think this would be extremely useful, almost necessary. Hoping Technics/Panasonic can implement this. Allow saving custom EQ settings. Allow using beeps/tones instead of voice prompts when changing ambient sound modes, connection is established, etc. Ability to power off an earbud without having to put it into the case. Since there is no sensor that knows an earbud has been taken out of the ear, it would be nice to be able to control the power from the earbud itself. If customizable controls would allow a power off function, that would work.
No browser
App will not connect to the internet for updates and guides. So no browser connected and no way I can find to fix this. And no chat function with company. Terrible customer service. Hello. Your company’s website chat said they could not help me and I needed to work through the app. Can anyone help me on this please.

The same as everyone... I had the same problem. But found the solution. When you change the name of the Earbuds from EAH-AZ70W the app does not recognize them. When I put the factory name started to work fine.
