Self drive rent a car exeed
Had a great experience renting an Exeed from SelfDrive Rent a Car. The car was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The booking and return process were smooth, and the staff were very helpful and professional. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended!
Horrible
Be extremely careful before booking with this company. They are only helpful when taking your money, but they will leave you stranded the moment you face an issue. Major Warning Signs: Hidden Double Charges: They charge double for any violations and pull money directly from your credit card without prior approval, hiding behind "policy document" clauses. Zero Customer Support: Their customer service is a joke. I have had an unresolved case for 3 months. Whenever I call, they give ridiculous excuses just to hang up, and no one ever follows up. Once they have your card details, you are on your own. Save yourself the nightmare and book elsewhere!

Customer service is poooor
Customer service is very poor , very, Very poor. Car is decent but they won’t tell you half the things . Haven’t got my vehicle serviced, mileage is low now, still no response after reaching out. You need to be worried half the time, you decide whether the budget justifies the service.

Easy to hire but hard to get back your money
I liked the rental service but not easy to get back your deposit . And they are clueless , it’s a third party service app . Main rental owner is Al moayyed

They have written there policy in such a way so that customers get confused and get bounded by the contract and then blame on the customers that they misunderstood. Don’t fall for this cancel anytime scheme, its just there so that customers misunderstand and then they can charge with 1000 aed fine during cancellation. Also i tried to call them for help but that time it took so long to connect to them but once we gave bad review we hot so many calls from them to remove as they are there for help and their help is that either pay fine or just keep the car and pay rent. So obviously for them its a win win from both sides.

Absolutely pathetic experience with Selfdrive
I’ve been trying to get a resolution for days regarding my vehicle return and billing issues, but there has been zero accountability from their team. They have no hesitation in debiting money from your card without any prior intimation, and I’ve faced unauthorized charges as well. However, when it comes to support, they are completely unavailable. Calls go unanswered, WhatsApp is useless, and even after sending multiple detailed emails, there has been no response at all. This clearly shows how unprofessional and one-sided their service is — quick to take your money, but nowhere to be found when you need support. Highly disappointing and not recommended. I strongly advise others to avoid Selfdrive unless you’re ready to deal with poor support and unresolved issues.

Refound is difficult
Their service and prices are good but it is difficult to get a security deposit refound. They said 30 working days to refound it which is 40-45 calender days. I think it is not acceptable and also you always have to chase them up and reaching via phone is extremly difficult.

The response and service is very good, and the rental price are lower than other car rental services, however after booking the car and paying the full amount I was informed that a security deposit of 1250 SAR is required, this information should be shared before payment also the security deposit is returned only after 7 days of return the car which is not a good practice.

Never take from self drive iam waiting for 35 days for my advance refund still no update, if we try to call customer care they never respond either direct call or in WhatsApp or email Please don’t waste money while taking car from them

Very poor support system
Very poor response once the sales is done. No respond from the WhatsApp upport, they simply deducted 500aed twice for one fine of 400. And nobody gives a reason, it’s in my wallet and i can’t redeem the amount which forces me to use their worst service once again. Repeated messages and mail to support team is just waste of my time. I wouldn’t recommend this
