Packages?
I can’t seem to get any packages to work. All it does is say that it’s looking for the sty file. I’ve tried \usepackage{suppose} and \usepackage{verse}

Text Editor Pro
LaTex is an amazing editor that has helped me in my PhD program. It is essential for engineers & mathematicians.

One compile and that is it.
Once you run the code to generate the PDF, any changes made afterwards do not get changed. Once in a while it works but most of the time the PDF just stay the same as it was the first time you ran the code. There is also a bad habit of the code not saving any updates as well. This makes this app unusable. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Dealing with multiple file
File explorer missing, could not compile my doc with multiple cls and tex files as chapters!
A superior editor…
This is an excellent piece of software!
jump to the end every time i try to edit it
it moves cursor to the end of the document every time i tries to edit it
Pretty good but bibtex/biber support missing
It is pretty good if it were to support bibtex/biber. I guess there is some workaround for this. But it would be a nice feature to look into in the future.
missing Library
The Usage with OneDrive and others is Nico, but Tha fact hat it seems to miss biblatex is Bad, so i can eddit the file but only compile on the pc
I like it so far…free is good!
Q4 2022 - opened app and redeemed a gift of a Pro membership In ~2009, I learned there was such a thing as LaTeX. I love math and research and saw the value immediately. I now teach computer science to secondary students and plan to introduce LaTeX as one of a few excellent markup languages. Thank you to the app for a free version of the Pro features. I’m excited to use the app!!

It doesn't support Chinese characters
Leider nicht zu gebrauchen
Habe einige meiner LaTeX-Projekte ausprobiert.
Thanks
I am a writer and I enjoy authenticity.
Does not save progress
Be prepared to type up a few paragraphs and have them disappear randomly. Do not use unless you enjoy redoing your work over and over again.
Please add IEEETran
I would like to give my highest appreciate to this app if this package is supported
Dropbox sync very buggy
Have now lost work 3 times because of buggy sync issues with Dropbox. App freezes, and work is lost before sync. Can’t use this app reliably with Dropbox
。无语
Nice
They offer Pro for free idk if i have to pay later but thanks anyways
Wont save. Wont compile
No thanks.
Light and nice app.
It is very light but working very fine.
BUG
Cannot type in Chinese.
Totally Awesome
Works like a charm!
Buggy
I could not use this app at all, the cursor kept jumping to the last line after every letter I typed. I tried pasting some code from a different file and it wouldn’t compile. I downloaded because it was free but the app turned out extremely buggy and impossible to use.
。。。教教我
Works, but the experience is poor
First, it feels awkward to use this tool with a keyboard. I try to switch back and forth between apps and every time I do, I have to tap the screen so that the keyboard can type something, which seems unnecessary and is unnecessary since I don’t have to do that on any other app where typing a lot of text is the main focus of the app. Second, importing .tex files is confusing. If you try opening a .tex file with Tex Pro, nothing happens and I don’t see the document. I had to first save the .tex file to my files app, and drag the .tex files into the Tex Pro icloud folder on my files app, but still that didn’t work. It gets moved to some “inbox” folder and you have to work out of that which means the file is inaccessible through the Tex Pro app. You have to go through the files app. Lastly, I have to build/compile my .tex files multiple times before the preview finally catches up with the updated code. And it’s consistently a different number of times so sometimes I have to refresh twice and other times I have to refresh like 10 times before I see the correct preview. So, if you think you’ll be using a keyboard, importing .tex files regularly, and switching between screens while writing latex, then perhaps you should look elsewhere.
Can’t find or read cls file
My dream of working with overleaf projects through Dropbox sync is broken.
Very decent app. You need to make the advantage of the computational power of iPads now.
I think it has a good integration of iCloud to this app, and you can access to other locations for the Tex folders too. However, I just wish it could support more features such as connections to Overleaf, and etc, since it’s a popular service for writers who use LaTex.
Crashes, useless
I loaded a doc that runs just fin on my PC. I hit the arrow and — poof — the program just crashed. I tried multiple times. Plus, I cannot directly edit Dropbox files. Worthless.
Need to implement attachments
I like the app. However, some of the fonts are not supported. Moreover, it can’t recognize any attachments.
the cursor jump to the end when I type
It’s terrible
Ok
Wow this app is amazing!
Just what I was looking for, download it! This is a 6 star app
Buggy
I’m having the same experience as other reviews. I make corrections in my document and then it reverted back to the original, and all the corrections are lost.
Terrible, slow
Downloaded because it was free. Couldn’t compile documents that TexStudio or Overleaf could, I think the problem was related to not recognizing bibliographies or figures. Not enough support for me to really figure it out. If I would be cautious of giving a low rating because maybe it was user error, there also was a huge delay between typing and response. Like a second lag per character. Unusable at that point. Maybe others had better experiences, but this is a new iPad so I can’t explain the lag except for a poorly performing app. I’d recommend you at least try it yourself to see if it works better for you, but it’s also 70MB. Plus a star for great Dropbox integration though.
Local files not working
For some reason it seems that the app can’t find other files in the same folder. Thus, input from another .Tex file doesn’t work, adding images also doesn’t work. But it’s free so I have not much to complain.
Yes
That’s exactly what I was looking for
Wastage of time
I spent an hour trying to write some basic equations; it didn’t helped to write even a single word. Always you see on white page “this is my first LaTeX document. So annoying. Wastage of time!
The cursor still goes to the end
I really like the app but the cursor goes to the end all the time and that’s quite annoying. Could you fix that please? All the bests,
More Cumbersome than It’s Worth
Within minutes of using this “Pro” application, the app – after either error checking or previewing – will unexpectedly revert back to a previous “save point”, washing away any work meticulously typed out for the past 5-10 minutes. This bug is aggravating especially when working at a fast pace. Alongside the painfully slow time to error check or load a preview, it made this app more cumbersome than it’s worth. I would recommend not investing any time in this app for as long as this bug (and the overall slow nature of the app) is fixed.
A few too many inconveniences
I understand that overleaf requires an internet connection, but this recompiling on this was inconsistent. I had the best luck quitting the application entirely after compiling so that I could make sure to see my work. In the editor, you cannot scroll out of range of your typing cursor, which makes Shift-Tap unusable as a selection method for large bodies of text.
