Not a great app experience
I remember a version of this app you could see your backstage pass info and tickets in it. The current version doesn’t display this info and launches a browser to see it. You can’t even sign into the app.
User Unfriendly
Every time I use the App, I must re-sign in, and it takes multiple attempts. So frustrating.
Needs work
While, I do love B&B Theatres, the app seems way too outdated. It always takes me to my browser to login and I can’t ever log into the app itself to view my profile or tickets or anything. It’s also slow to load especially when trying to reserve and pay for tickets.
Can never see tickets purchased
Every ticket I purchase on the app, I am unable to view in the app. If I ever want to purchase additional seats in the same row I cannot verify what seats were already purchased. I have to track down the confirmation email and go to the theater to see this. As an avid movie-goer/cinephile this sucks. I can at least add to my phone’s digital wallet on their website.
App not user friendly
This is disappointing because I actually really like my particular location to the point I made the “switch” from AMC to B&B. I am however disappointed in the performance of the app. I constantly have to sign in anytime I’m switching between looking at diff movie availability. Somehow my points aren’t showing up for movies I have already seen. I really hope the developers realize soon enough their app is more than a little buggy. If it continues I may be inclined to go back to AMC
Always broken.
I have rarely used this app functionally, meaning with my account/profile being used. I’ve changed my login information repeatedly, as I frequently get error messages telling me that my login information is not accurate. Most recently, the app told me it couldn’t recognize the password reset code that it sent me just a few seconds prior to me trying to update my information again.
Difficult … Not User Friendly
When researching a movie to go see, this app requires you to “Verify” yourself every time you want to look at: 1. Same Movie, Same Theater Chain, Same location, Same Screen, Different time; 2. Same Movie, Same Theater Chain, Same location, Different screen; 3. Same Movie, Same Theater Chain, Different Theater location, Screen, time, ect 4. ect, etc, etc Every time you change something in your search for tickets, evening though you stayed within the same theater chain, you have to “Re-Verify” who you are. TOTAL B.S. Once you have signed into the app you should be able to navigate across the App, at lesst within the same Theater Chain, with constantly “Re-Verifying” Who You Are!!! I live about 10 minutes from 1 theater location and 15 min from a second, both same chain. The closer is my “Home Theater”. In a recent quest for tickets for a movie shown on 5 screens across 2 Theater locations, same Theater chain, I had to “Re-Verify” myself 20 times. Then because I bought tickets for the “Non-Home Theater” the tickets did not show up in the Tickets section of my profile! What kind of I.T. Psyconerdopath wrote this App??? He obviously wrote for his convenience not the customers!!! The App should work for the customer and not require the customer to work for the App!!!
Difficult to Use
Not user friendly at all! Cannot find tickets after I purchase them.
Won’t link to website
I like being able to order tickets but then afterwards if you want to check in it redirects you to the website. What’s the point of having an app if it doesn’t show you history, points and current purchases.
Not user friendly
Log in? Sign in? Where are my tix? App transfers to website, why? Do I have coupons/rewards? I do not care for this app.
App won’t load
The app won’t load at all. It just sits there no matter what I click on.
Terrible
We went in without tickets to see if my sisters boyfriend was cheating and got kicked out when he knew he was in there with another girl.
Not user friendly
I have the B&B app but when I go to buy movie tickets, it takes me to a completely different website where you make your purchase, which takes a while to get to the payment screen but when completed it does not take you back to the B&B app nor does the B&B app show your tickets that you just purchased. Then you have to go to your email to make sure that you get your confirmation and that’s where you’ll see your QR Code for the ticket you just purchased. Has to be one of the worst apps for purchasing movie tickets that I’ve come across. Sorry.
App glitch changed my reservation
I had a frustrating experience using this app. I selected August 1 for my movie, but when the app redirected me to the booking page, it change the reservation to August 2nd without me realizing it. We didn’t discover the mistake until we were at the theater and had already purchased about $40 in concessions. I later confirmed the issue with a screen recording showing the app consistently shifting the date forward by one day. I reported it to customer support, but the issue wasn’t resolved to my satisfaction. Double-check your booking date before purchasing if you use this app.
Tickets
There should be a place in the app where you can view tickets you have purchased. You should not have to go and search through your emails to find your tickets.
Not very easy
The membership number and last name was not easy to do considering everyone has the same last name
Worthless app
Other than seeing what movies are playing this app is worthless! There is always a problem, doesn't retain log in info, locations are completely off, doesn't remember my select theater, shows locations that are nowhere near my location, check out needs to verify the movie and time I choose when checking out.
Useless
The app does nothing but send you to your browser with a link for the thing you clicked on. Can’t view tickets.
Hard to use
Very hard to use. You can’t get to the backstage or your account. I’m trying to switch the dates on some tickets and I can’t even get to the tickets. Horrible navigation in the app.
App needs work
The functionality of the app is outdated. It is not user friendly. We should be able to view our purchase tickets within the app opposed to going to our email. Almost everything in the app export you out to a web, these things we should be able to do in the app. I could go on about the things that could be done better. My recommendation is, whatever AMC did with their app, do the same!!!!
Non functional
Could never figure out how to view my tickets I purchased or add them to my phone’s wallet. VERY non-user friendly. Finally had to log into the web version and screenshot the QR code. It shouldn’t be that difficult with an app and the older generation are just not going to try with it being this difficult to do a simple thing like view and print my tickets or add them to my wallet.
