What people like
- Works perfectly for basic text editing.
- Simple and does exactly what it says.
- Great for fixing Apple's file blocking issues.
What they complain about
- Forces payment after just a few uses.
- Weekly subscription fee feels way too high.
- Crashes often with large files.
- Constant popups try to make you upgrade.

Works like a charm!
Could be nice
No automatic execution? Therefore more safe?(first try). Unusable. Wants money. Way tooo smalll text . Unreadable.
Perfect but ads
It’s not actual ads, I use it for ads blueprint editing, but every test file I open, it gives me the popup saying “upgrade to plus”
One time purchase
Give an option for one time purchase
Good
Good
Reliable and perfect
Fills a gap that used to be built into every OS without any of the B-ESS others bring with them. Sturdy, does everything it says, no nonsense. 10/10 💪💪
Stopped working
Keyboard doesn’t come up any more - can’t type
Try
Pretty good
Basic and Expensive
Essentially what you get is an extremely skimped down text editor from an untrustworthy developer and flaky privacy statements
errors often occur
I have paid for this application, but every time I use it, an error often occurs like crash where the application suddenly exits by itself. and loading or freezing often occurs when the file I enter is quite large.
THIS IS ELON MUSK
I just need to select my sfs blueprints and edit them😀
only works once
makes you pay to edit text which should be free
Perfekt die TXT
Immer wieder
Little chance to try without paying
The app locks without a subscription right away, so there is very little chance to try it before it becomes unusable. With more time to try it seems to be a great app, but as it stands it is impossible to get a feeling of how the app works.
Ok
Your best
broken?
it will not let me edit the .txt file
Helpful however annoying
You can use it and it works but sometimes it just won't allow you to edit files without paying

CHarge OVer £40 A YEar For JUst A Bloody Text editor!!
Great Text Editor
This works well. It’s copy and paste and is always read as text.
developer got greedy
This app used to be great until the developer enveloped a paywall around it. Some people don’t want anything more than the basic features but now you can’t even utilize the bare minimum without paying! I have this app on my old device which hasn’t been updated in a long time as I have the automatic updating of apps feature disabled. On that old version I am still able to use the app for basic texts purpose the way I’ve always done. Today is the first time I tried using the app on my new device and noticed this current version of the app has been paywalled to the point where it’s wholly unusable now unless you pay. It wouldn’t even let me edit an existing document. I don’t know when this new update went into effect but I see now the developer isn’t even transparent in regards to what each update entails which is how you end up in a situation like this and is why I never used to update my apps on my previous device! I also want to say I have a laundry list of apps I pay and have paid for so I’m not a cheapskate. But something like this - a text editor - should have a one-time purchase option if it’s going to have a purchase option at all. No one wants to pay month-to-month or annually for a basic editor. And it should’ve blocked advanced features beyond that of a basic text editor behind that purchase option rather than crippling the whole app for greed.
Gut
Top
Good text editor completely spoiled by a demand for subscription
… after opening three files. This app has no free version. What a shame that devs don’t realise the value of offering a free version. Also 99p per week? Really? Good luck in today’s climate!
Easy!
:)

nice
I don’t know how do you use it
It’s good, but it was hard
Perfect text editor
Just what is needed to overcome apple’s blocking of text documents on my iPad Pro.very happy with it. It finds text files created from iDOS and Free42
Doesn’t work
Worked fine for 1 day, then unable to enter any text on ipad either on an old document or a new one. Unable to select or do anything. Additionally, after the first day of use, it non-stop puts a pop-up with a tiny “skip” button trying to get me to upgrade. Super disappointing.
Pretty good so far
It works, that’s what matters.
Sigh
Complete over the top "Buy Pro" and "Rate now" harassment. Otherwise peobably ok
Good
Very very good
Three edits and then you’re locked out
I will not be downloading another app from this developer. Waste of time do not download.
Good app
It’s a good app, but onc eyou start writing enough, the text will be blocked by the keyboard which is kind of annoying.
I'd be happy to pay for this, but not this much
Title says it all. 99p per WEEK is a ridiculous amount for a text editor. I pay for a lot of good software, but the value for money ratio is way off on this one.
Old Faithful
Been using this for years, Thank you.
Not working after update
After 50 updates in 3 days app doesn’t work anymore
Works good on aging iPad
Nice one ☺️
Does not actually edit without paying for + version at 3.99/month
Looks good if using in icloud. Tried to edit file on OneDrive- looked ok right up to the point of saving a file. Changes not saved and when try to reopen it demands install text editor + version
Thank You
5 Starz
Subscription required for basic usage
The app lets you edit files about 3 times and then you’re required to pay for the subscription onwards. Absolutely a brick of an app afterwards.
Rich text editor
A superlative app.
Disappointing, outrageous cost
Says it can edit any text file, but doesn’t open .tex (TeX or LaTex file). Subscription cost is 99p a week, nearly £52 a year!!
