4.6 out of 5, based on 8,164 reviews.
What people like
- No ads or hidden monitoring of commands
- Connects fast and feels very simple
- Support team is actually helpful and nice
What they complain about
- Locks you out after one free connection
- Won't let you import key files directly
- Makes you type long keys manually instead
- Breaks basic text formatting and colors
Can actually use it for free
Enjoy this terminal unlike others where they monitor what commands I use an gatekeep it behind a paywall
Paywalled instantly
For a simple terminal is manages to paywall most of the good features
Não consigo entrar no terminal
Oi aos desenvolvedores, ja tentei fazer os passos para criar um terminal delicadamente e aparece que não está online e não consigo conectar a ele. Existe alguma solução para o meu caso? Obrigada
Huge security risks…
I downloaded and had a chance to play with the app. The app seems to work if one fills in all the information required to make the connection. However, the way this app works exposes a huge security risk because it requires the user to fill in all the security credentials including username, password and personal private key (if key-based connection is required). This seems very unsafe! I could try to be careful not losing my phone or letting someone peep into my phone’s content, but how am I supposed to trust this app which collects all these extremely sensitive information! Other well known apps like Putty, allows the user name and credential to be manually entered in during connection time. Until this app offers such means to enter one’s credentials, I would shy away from using it. Also, the free version only allow one connection profile.
HELP ABOUT HOST
I can’t get my host server and what is it?
10/10
Great app. Easy to navigate. Fast connections. Usual bugs
Junk App
Like some one else posted, this app allows for one connection and then you have to pay a yearly fee for any additional connections. Pointless to have it installed… Have no clue how it got such a high rating.
Лучшее что нашел на планшет, телефон.

Good app
Exceptional App & Great Support Team
The app is too useful , with very supportive team
Just make the app paid
Tired seeing apps that are free that are practically not usable without micro transactions
Honeypot
Shoutout this app I was able to create a honeypot scam
UI needs update
First impression was not good. The gesture bar for iOS is covering the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Something this elementary should have been fixed years ago.

Phone was hacked. I was tormented.
Requires password in settings
Nowadays many sites use OTA and requiring password at the server setup is useless. Passwords can be prompted at the connection.

Greed ruined the app
Copy/paste is such a basic feature and used to be free. Now you want me to pay for it? You already steer people to misclick on purchasing a subscription for $60 every time they connect to an SSH server. Your app is predatory and gross. Deleting it and not looking back.
Username/password validation without any reason
The app requires username and password to be entered for all connections. But what if I just need anonymous telnet connection?

Not ANSI
xTerminal does not support basic ANSI sequences, making it have very limited value as a terminal. Specifically, it does not respond appropriately to \e[6n.
Awesome app
Great job . This ssh client app works wonderfully!!!
Don’t know why I’d pay $30/year
It’s annoying that the cost wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description. I don’t see the value the other reviews refer to.
Great
I was worried that it would be full of ads or something but it wasn’t and was just what I was wanting. A simple terminal to ssh into my server.
no import
It’s weird this app doesn’t let you import a key it wants you to type it in. the problem with typing in a key is it’s long and you cannot open a key file on ios even though it’s just a regular text file it doesn’t work.

xTerminal ssh for iPad
This is a great utility. I use it via a vpn into my home network. I force stop it when done. I noticed that if I left it running it would get into a state where upon connection it would just show a blank screen, a force quit fixes this issue. Overall a good utility. I would buy it again.
Don’t trust these 5 star reviews
All these vague 5 star reviews are trash, don’t listen to them. It only allows one connection before you have to pay 100 bucks a year. I tried multiple times to connect via ssh and nah won’t work. Deleted this waste of time and grabbed the next free app on the list and boom worked first time and was actually free.
