The constant reminders onscreen on how to play are unnecessary and annoying most people who down load games know how to play
So many glitches
I love the game, but hate how glitching the ads are. Why does the ad have to hold for so long, after you’ve watched it? Sometimes, it kicks you out even after you’ve watched it, so you don’t get your extra plays.
Difficult
Some of the levels that aren’t even marked as hard are nearly impossible. Level 28 took me 15 tries and I didn’t do anything special on the 15th try either. Beating that board was just pure RNG luck. Level 52 was the end of the road for me though. The number of moves provided is so far away from what’s needed that by the end I still have like 3/4ths of the objectives left. And then they want 900 coins for 5 more moves which still wouldn’t be enough. I enjoy the visuals and the little storyline. It’s a cute concept for a match 3. But clearly some of the board designs are poorly implemented and/or specifically engineered to make you spend to pass them.

Not happy
I used to love this game but once the levels stopped and the story line became almost nonexistent, it has just lost any sense entertainment!
Not enough turns
When you play this game you don’t get enough turns. And it is sometimes boring.
Disappointing
Now I find that I’m stuck on a level with no boosters and no coins. I find that unless you beat the levels you lose lives and it doesn’t take long to run out of lives. I won’t pay to play. I also find that I accidentally use coins because the button is where I would have played. This is frustrating because I love playing.
Not as Fun
I used to play this game every day, sometimes several times a day. Anymore, I visit the game maybe once a week. It’s became drudgery to log in, play five times (the number of lives at a time), log out and wait till you get full lives and repeat, for a week. The “extra” things you can win or purchase don’t really help and they are too expensive. I’ve been staying out for over a week just to get some free time with “goodies”. The story really, really drags now. Imagine reading a really good book and you have to put it down for over 4 months. You can’t go back a re-read it, you just have to move forward.
Go back to the old story format
I’ve played this game for several years. It’s been one of my favorites; however, when I reached what was apparently the last level, they went to a format where you have to win several levels to remove a block to reveal part of a clue. You have to remove over 15 blocks just to get the info/clue that you used to get by winning one level. If you like the story aspect of the game, it now takes forever to accomplish.
New Levels are NOT coming soon or AT ALL
Use to really like this game. I finished the main game (30 levels) over a year ago. Game said “new levels coming soon!). But that was well over a year ago. Don’t bother starting this one

I have played this game through to what seems to be the end…a cliffhanger! Dirty pool, Rovio. Finish the story!
Need to fix
Game would be more enjoyable if it didn’t freeze up all the time. I have high speed Wi-Fi. So I know my connection is not the problem. It’s very annoying when you have almost completed the puzzle and the game freezes up and then kicks out a move that you didn’t make costing you the puzzle and making you start over.
Ease up I'm trying to relax
Why is every puzzle now really super hard?Give me a win every once in a while. I don't even see a plausible strategy on these. I get enough no- win situations at work.

The game deserves five stars. The developers do not. This was the best game EVER, hands down. The match three was nothing special, but the storyline and characters were the best!!! I played it daily and even spent money on it occasionally. Then three years ago, Rovio dropped case 30, ended it on a cliffhanger, promised there would be more eventually, and crickets…. They walked away and abandoned the game and even developed a NEW game. Newsflash: people don’t like it when stories (whether TV, books, games, whatever) end on a cliffhanger. It’s rude and just plain mean to get people invested in characters not give closure. These characters deserved an ending, and so did the users. No it wasn’t as big a money maker as the Angry Birds multitude of games, but they never even gave it a chance. They let it run for just two years before abandoning it. This is why I no longer play any Rovio games. Instead I moved to Lily’s Garden by Tactile which has been putting out new content for over five years, pretty much weekly. Now Tactile gets my money. Shame on you Rovio for abandoning your users like you did!

Teams, PLEASE
My favorite games, and the only ones I go to most days, are those that give me the opportunity to be on a team. They offer challenges and support. I find it boring not to be and if it wasn’t for the witty chatter and the interesting puzzles, I wouldn’t play. Now, I play maybe 3x/month because there isn’t enough to draw me. There is practically no way to gain tools. I don’t mind buying some occasionally but I get so little that it isn’t worth it. It could be my favorite game if I could be a part of a team. Get on it!
Ditch the balloons !
My favorite match 3 game now with a snag. Balloons are SO SLOW to remove—unlike usual fast paced chain-reaction explosions.explosions Edit: I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve played more than 4 years and found this the most fun yet frustrating game. As others note, the power up planes are trash & do not take out that last obstacle. However: I found a glitch/hack? If I can’t complete a level, I ditch the game for 72+ hours. When I return, I’m awarded 1 hour of all 3 power ups!
Frustrated
I used to love this game, but there hasn’t been an update for over a year now. No more Nora, no more cases. What happened to their romance. I also find it frustrating I buy something/ extra moves when I don’t want it or did not mean to buy it. I hope they come out with an update. Because it’s getting harder to get back and play
80s references are awesome
Game play is typical match 3 but the stories are more interesting than the typical stuff. And I don’t know what 80s nerd you have working for you but good job, dude. Spivey Point? Love it.
Annoying
Every time you upgrade your phone the games start all over again and can not get help I played for 5 yrs and switch phone to start all over again when all you should have to do is reconnect to Facebook well that didn’t happen I wasn’t at the highest case level
AMAZING BUT YOU ROVIO
This game is the best ever! It is always challenging you and the characters are absolutely amazing. The cases are genuinely interesting and it keeps me invested. BUT ROVIO STOPPED MAKING IT!!! ROVIO needs to go back and finish what they started because this is amazing and they can’t end on a cliffhanger!!!
Was great until developers gave up
This game hasn’t been updated in well over a year, there are no more storylines and puzzles are all repetitive. Disappointing.
What have you done?
I loved this game until you dumped me into some sort of contest that just goes on and on. I want it to go away and let me get back to the regular game. Totally frustrating. If it doesn’t go away I will have to quit playing. What happened to the cases. Tournament is boring!!!!!
Small town rocks
I just finished the game and I loved it I just wish there were more chapters. The game is pricey but it’s very good and the storyline is was kept me going. When are more chapters coming out because to end like this was so so because you want more with Nora and Mike and rest of the characters so please give us more

Enjoyed the storyline and game play. It’s a shame the game came to a long boring game of basically nothing. The noted update hasn’t happened in years. It was great…until it wasn’t.
Love Game, but AI Powerup’s is awful
I’ve been playing at least a year and have advanced far enough that I feel I can make this assessment about the game’s powerup’s AI. I estimate it makes the right choice only about 45% of the time and has caused me to lose many levels because it made a choice that had nothing to do with the requirements to advance. For example, I’ll have one play left and need the paper airplane to hit the one remaining jewel, but it will strike a random space. Need the planes to hit electrical boxes or exploding boxes in order to open up the puzzle for more play? Nope, it hits a space contained within in the electrical field. Those are just two examples. Please fix this!
It gets impossible
I loved this game in the beginning. The characters are hilarious, very relaxing and satisfying but then the levels get to a point where they are impossible to achieve. 50-80 tries sucks the fun out of it guys! This feedback has been with you a long time now and clearly you don’t intend on fixing it so I’m bailing again. Too bad.
Updates are killers
Apple and the developer on game did updates this week. Now the game opens and doesn’t allow any other actions even though it looks as normal. Exhausted with updates breaking more than it fixes in general. What happened to some QA? I guess I will need to abandon this game and move on. Challenging fun prior.

Too hard to play without money
This game gives you dead end puzzles over and over unless you are willing to spend money for bonus tools. Don’t waste your time.
Paper plane power ups
I really enjoy this game and the story lines. The only problem I have with the game is the paper plane power ups. They are not too useful especially when combined with another power up. Instead of going to an area that could really use help with a power up it will go to one single block. For instance, if there is a whole column that needs to be cleared and I combine the plane with an up arrow, it will go clear one isolated item on the opposite side of the board which really defeats the usefulness of the power up. That would be especially helpful while playing the difficult boards. Sometimes I have to play a board so many times I just want to delete the game in frustration. The game is not generous with powerups to begin with so I really don’t want to waste them unnecessarily. Aside from that issue, I really do enjoy playing the game
Worse, not better
You get to a point in the game where advancement is nearly impossible. In order to get any further you have to pay for more gems or moves. The fact that the puzzles are 10x harder with 1/10th the number of moves available to work it is insane! Yeah, it’s becoming a money grubbing game. Pay pay pay or don’t play and advance. Refuse to suggest this game.
What happened?
This was my favorite game, I would have given it a 5 star had the cases not stopped with no warning. You are told to complete the side game with no case to solve. Indefinitely! No mention that there are no more cases. I had to research to find out that it just ends. No idea if they even plan to do more. Such a shame. Side note: I saw people complaining that they had to spend too much to play. I have spent maybe $5 a month. That was worth it to me, but no reason to spend anymore.
Is the game still running?
Love the game, but there have been no new cases in over a year. Town Secrets is available to play, but I don’t enjoy it as much. I am hoping new cases are in the works!
Level 2295
Level 2295 will not allow you to progress forward. The columns that dropped the pink cameras just stopped producing pink cameras when I still need one. The entire screen was wiped with power boosters several times while spending money on coins since I was struggling so bad to make it work. Wasted so much time and money for a scam.
Almost the perfect game
Storylines , GREAT! Game style - GREAT! About the only thing lacking is if you don’t have enough points to complete a level , you can’t earn more with watching ads , so sometimes on the very hard levels , it can take many days to get 900 points to continue if you are Almost defeating a level , but a few hits away. This happens often on the hard levels . If they offered ads to earn things to help defeat levels , I’d give it 5 stars ⭐️.
Good story, greedy developers
I like the premise of the game, it’s not as silly as some. I enjoy the boards even the hard ones. My issue is with the choices the developers have made in terms of game play and such. You know how you sometimes get into the game and oops, ran out of moves? Rovio knows that and codes accordingly. There is little to no pause between that last move and the pop up window telling you so. That means if you aren’t paying attention, you’ve tapped the button (instead of your next move) for 5 more moves, costing you 900 coins. You’ve wasted your money on 5 moves that aren’t enough. So player beware. This game also gives very little in freebies. Bombs, etc are rare gifts, Rovio just gives you unlimited lives. No daily gift, nada. And be aware they code to your disadvantage when using those power ups. Don’t combine your bombs and planes unless there isn’t much left to do; invariably that combination with be sent to the least effective place on the board. Happens pretty consistently, to the point I just don’t anymore. They recently introduced me to a feature where you play a move next to a lit fuse to make it move, with the goal to get the fuse to the cannon where it will set off planes that’ll supposedly do what’s needed. I have seen when trying to move the fuse, the regular planes are pretty worthless unless activated next to the fuse, otherwise they hit the cannon itself which accomplishes nothing. Makes it harder to win the board which Rovio actively seeks to do. I enjoy the story lines and while I’ll do I’ll keep playing. I’ll never knowingly play another Rovio game after this, due to this experience and a particularly negative experience with their tech support for another game. (Despite screenshots and screen videos clearly showing an issue and lost coins due to the issue, they said there was no problem and it was just me, no one else was complaining. Clearly I was interrupting someone’s time on TikTok.) I’m guessing they got too big for their britches after Angry Birds.
What happened to the story line?
I have loved playing this game for over a year. They story was engaging and it was a joy to play. However, after thousands of rounds. The story simply ends and you see thrown in this side story with endless hard round and even “normal” rounds that are impossible to beat. I spend way more than I like to admit on these games. I am starting to feel you have earned your last dollar from me. I used to love this game (5 solid Stars$. Now I feel I am just being milked. Sad

Some games are very frustrating
I’ve really enjoyed this game however some of the games are ridiculously difficult due to insufficient moves to accomplish or the need to wait for a disco ball with another helper at exactly the right place to connect them. Sometimes it takes days and I ask myself why I’m playing this irritating game at all. Oddly it’s not the super hard games that are undo-able but seemingly simple ones. Please just keep this game enjoyable and a feel good experience! It makes you feel like a failure when in reality it’s about the odds and the endurance you need to play for days till the odds are right it will work out! Too bad as the graphics, storyline and match 3 style are really good...

Glitchy
I like the storyline, but find the matching impossible at times. Now the bonus ads won’t open. Months after my original review, this is happening AGAIN!
Can’t win
Like most of these games after you get to a certain level, you can’t win. Oh, you can get lucky with the right drops and pass the level but it becomes like pulling the handle on a slot machine. No skill involved. I do like the storylines as you play along. Five stars for storyline, zero for playability for an average of three stars.
