Unplayable: Stuck on infinite loading screen
After sinking many many hours into this game, I am now completely locked out. The game is permanently stuck on the initial loading screen where the character is just waiting, and it never reaches the actual game / main menu. I have tried every recommended troubleshooting step—including launching in offline/airplane mode and clearing the cache—but nothing bypasses this infinite loading bug. It appears to be a known issue with older save files failing to migrate or sync properly, rendering the game completely unplayable and holding my massive save file hostage. I will update this rating when a patch is released, but until then, it is broken.
Fine but where is Norse lands?
I love the game, I have it on every console of mine…but I can’t play borderlands on the phone?
what’s wrong with this game?
No idea why it has large reviews they all must be bots. what a waste of money. The game looks like it has potential but then it’s just boring from the start and confusing. So firstly your horse runs out of stamina literally in a second and then will just stop so it takes like 20 min to just travel and then you have to walk back it’s so much walking and your horse just has to stop every second it’s a joke. Then you have coins to build stuff but then your running and running and no objectives they don’t tell you what to do or how to pass anything. i found a boat once then the next part i had no coins and nothing to build. then i tried another version of the game to see if it was just the two crown but no they are all skins of the same game. no real tutorial the the one they do have is the same with no real info or purpose. save your 7 dollars
Upgrade worse than base game
The game looks nice and is fun for a while, and because it has potential to stay fun long term I even got the upgrade. However, many issues in the basic package are even worse in the upgrade, so very quickly after purchase I deleted the entire app. Disappointed. - even on easy mode eventually the attacks by greed become enormous. Does not seem possible to finish the game in one reign even on easy mode. That’s a real shame because starting from the beginning everytime is extremely annoying . - the lack of resources in winter contrasts too much with summer. It’s annoying you have to keep running back and forth to put coins in bushes. Thus while the idea of winter is nice, it just got poor gameplay. - cats pushing coins in water and nothing you can do about it? Again annoying. - even though the controls should be the simplest ever (left to right), it is so poorly designed with those asthmatic attacks. Disappointingly the control is even worse with the animals in the upgrades. Have the developers even tried to play with that cart&cat? It’s uncontrollable. - no explanation about many of the objects to put coins in. - often impossible to tell what time of the day it is or where you are on the map (especially when opening the game).
This is a Gorgeous, Well-Made Game
Today, a lot of games that get made come out of the box absolutely DRAINING energy from whatever platform they’re running on. If I want to play Minecraft on my phone, I basically need to keep it plugged in, or else the whole thing just drains in like an hour or two. Kingdom Two Crowns has a level of polish that unfortunately surprises me these days. The battery barely moves- and I’ve played other pixel art games that guzzle batteries, so it’s not that. The core gameplay loop is attempting to colonize each island and eliminate the progressively harder and harder waves of Greed, monsters that want everything you’ve got- money, tools, and your crown. Lose the crown, and you’re defeated, but as you progress through each island, you’ll unlock better technology that will eventually allow you to take the fight straight to the Greed (on that island). You want to take your time, but take too long, and the greed will overwhelm you. Progress must keep marching, even in winter, the hardest of the seasons. The music is so good, I listen to it on my own while writing. The graphics are PHENOMENAL. It is like eye candy for me, so much gorgeous love and care. The replayability is fantastic; each DLC is comfortably familiar, yet offers something new and interesting. I love all of the entries in this. Kingdom 80’s has my whole heart, too. I sincerely adore these games.
Bugs
The map won’t come up when I attempt to leave the first island. The boat just keeps sailing and yes, I tapped the screen multiple times. Was fine before the Greek DLC hit. Can’t play the game now - 1 Star.
Great game but….
Why do the swordsmen/leaders of the archers that I send to attack the greed turn away from the portal when they’re attacking? I can’t destroy any of the teleporters because of that dang bug!
Great game, but coat of arms designer needs to be fixed
I love this game, but one thing that has always frustrated me is that in order to change the colors of your coat of arms, you have to click a button that randomly selects a color and just hope it’s the one you want. It’s a terrible system and makes designing your coat of arms incredibly tedious. Just let us choose the color from a color wheel, or even a set number of colors, but let us actually CHOOSE. Until it’s changed, my review will remain at 2 stars.
Coop has too many glitches
I’ve always loved the Kingdom franchise and own the game on multiple platforms. However, there is a big problem. I’ve been playing this game in coop mode on iPad using two DualSense controllers for a few weeks now, and I’ve experienced several significant glitches that have resulted in an extremely frustrating experience. First of all, when I connect the two controllers to my device via bluetooth, the game recognizes the first controller I use to control the menu as the primary controller and the second controller wouldn’t work at all, forcing me to make my device forget the second controller and reconnect it in order for it to work properly. Secondly, every time we travel to a new island, the second player’s money pouch appears as empty while having practically infinite capacity. This can be helpful; however, if they pick up a gem or any special item, it will not show visually and it will be a mystery as to whether it was even picked up. Thirdly, the assignment of archers to armies was already a conundrum, but on top of that, the operation of the armies also leaves me scratching my head. There was one case where we defeated the last portal before the cave portal, and we built the bomb in preparation for beating the island; however, there was no army to accompany the bomb (where there should usually be two), instead there was one single army general walking on the river! The last glitch that finally forced us to abandon our coop campaign was when after beating an island, the second player became unable to pay for anything. They could still drop coins, but the little circles that would pop up above things you could pay for, would no longer pop up, essentially halting progress. I tried everything: going to new islands, switching between singles and coop mode, reconnecting controllers, reloading the game. Nothing worked. I figured this problem might be tied to the campaign and sure enough, when we switched to different campaign, everything was fine. Fundamentally, this game is a fantastic game with stunning visuals, intuitive mechanics, and satisfying progression, it’s just a shame all of that is tainted by the countless glitches and bugs, particularly in coop mode (which I assume is the selling point of Kingdom “Two” Crowns). I understand that this game has not received an update in a minute but I hope the devs see this message and consider revisiting the game to ensure the coop experience is smoother.
My life
I’ve played every map and every level I’m obsessed with this game it’s so addictive I’ve stayed up so late playing. 10/10 recommend I can’t wait for more worlds to explore and more mounts to collect, ps also check out kingdom 80s and I’m not being paid for this review this is 100% my own opinion ♥️
No Mac version and no online co-op
The Mac version is on Steam instead of the App Store, and there is no online co-op despite this feature being available on other platforms
Give option to lock screen in co-op
My boyfriend and I like this game a lot but randomly I’ll turn upside down and its rather nauseating. Locking the device screen doesn’t seem to help at all, either. Mind it’s doing this while we’re propping it upright
Great concept
And the execution is pretty good. I don’t understand why it has to be so flipping hard? Even on easy it is unnecessarily difficult. I was going great, everything upgraded, good supply of gold. Got trapped the wrong side of the greed ONCE and that’s it, back to the beginning?! WTH?! It’s so jarring, it makes me not want to play it. It would also be good to explain why things are appearing and what they do. You seem to give thorough explanation of a small number of things and leave the rest to just figure out?! It doesn’t make sense. It would also be very helpful to know the number of each archer/builder you have, it shouldn’t be a secret. And why am I giving the king cash? Can I get that back? Or am I just spaffing it up the wall?
Easy is not easy.
When I play a game on easy I expect to win with a chill amount of effort. The aggression I see in the second island makes easy feel like it should be normal not easy because of how many enemies there are.
Love It But Please Help, Devs!
I love this game and this series. The pixel art and music are breathtaking. The gameplay is engaging and challenging. That said, since the last update, I haven’t been getting new events. I got the very first event, but no new ones have ever shown up. The event always just says “EVENT COMING SOON…”. I’ve seen online that there have been other events that I never got to participate in. Please help me! I want to play your events!

Loved the new Olympus dlc… but
So recently just finished the new Olympus dlc. But after the credits my boat/ship was gone, now I’m stuck at the last island and I can’t go nowhere. Not sure if this is a glitch. Overall I love this game to pass the time. Great job guys. Please add more content to this game and the kingdom 80
Loading screen glitch
Everytime I try to load into the new dlc it just sends me back to my Home Screen causing a infinite loading screen glitch, would appreciate if they fix this been wanting to play it.
Multiplayer
Great game that I have played multiple times and not gotten bored. However, the main reason I got it was to play with my brother only to realize that the multiplayer was split screen and not multi device. I looked up if it was an issue on my device but I saw that the same issue was happening 3 years ago. If you are planning to get the game to play with friends then don’t. I am still going to play personally but if the developers read this then maybe you could add a full multiplayer mode with the ability for multiple devices to play on the same world.
Amazing game but huge recommendation.
As a PC player for this game, the visual difference is very noticeable. Pc has way better frames per second than mobile. Please add a fps setting, playing this game with worse quality takes out the fun for me rather than compared to pc. But overall probably my favorite game of all time, very unique. Love the concept.
Lousy developers. Don’t buy!
Raw Fury is the absolute worst when it comes to customer responses and quality of life features. Any complaint or request will be absolutely ignored. Your true enemy isn’t the greed, it’s the clumsy controls and UI features. Hermits are always in your way from upgrading buildings and then you accidentally pick them up you are stuck with them. You waste 4-5 days waiting for them to exit your mount. You accidentally send troops to their deaths because of overlapping towers and walls. You can also play a map and have 0 wall placements. Effectively ending your game. All of this has been a concern for years. But all raw fury does is give the customers a middle finger. Don’t buy this!

New update is full of bugs
Although I love this game and bought the new DLC as soon as it released some bugs need to be addressed. When I tried to overwrite the very first slot with the new dlc and started playing the game turned out that the new game has every upgrades from the previous saves which was about a year old, town hall and walls are maxed out and recruited builders are walking around the city. The second bug came to be when I tried starting the game on the second slot it actually loaded properly but whenever I picked up the coins the coin texture started floating above the horse near the saddle.
Too random
In previous titles, it was much easier to plan ahead, as every building had a fix place. In this game, too much seems to be random; it is nearly impossible to get the blacksmith, and without it you cannot really progress. It has some good ideas, but way too random to be enjoyable. i recommend the previous iteration; that is a much more enjoyable game.
This game is FREAKING AWESOME
I really do love this game and my father does as well, it’s really good if you’re bored and just want something to fiddle around with. I remember back when I was in my junior year of high school, we would get about 30 minutes after the school day to decompress… I would be playing this game!!!!

Since the controls are very minimal, I think screen sharing would be possible to incorporate for 2 friends on FaceTime to play with each other. This game is 5 stars for single player but adding this would also make it 5 stars for Co-Op mode. Thank you Raw Fury for the upcoming Greek DLC update!!

I can’t find a way to select a king I keep getting forced to play as a queen. How do I pick my preference?
Great game, but lots potentially game breaking glitches
Problems include: Knights archers refusing to shoot after being deployed in front of walls. Island complete screen refusing to show up after sending the boat. The first one especially happens way too often, very annoying.
Add Aztec

Honestly the gameplay is a solid 9 out of ten for me but it won’t let me reinstall the game even after I’ve already spent buying the game and one of its dlcs. Please address this
Great game but one way to make it better is…
When getting the farmers you should have a choice to either get farmers or spearmen or the character you play has a better way to defend itself against the enemies like with a sword🗡️, spear🦯, or bow🏹. P.S: I wish I could give a 4.5 but the rating system doesn’t allow that.
Passable despite poor mechanics
iOS store has such a low bar for quality I get why this game is rated well however there is just a lot of frustrating game design choices that really take the fun out of the game. I am not afraid of difficulty at all but overcoming stupid problems is not the kind of challenge I’m trying to overcome. I can’t list everything but I just learned the “leaping greed” can knock your crown and run past you to get it… whatever, but I’m tired of starting back at island one, building a ship for each island to subsequently re-light each shrine, partially rebuild each island. This is just tedium which bring me to a rock and a hard, place do I lower the difficulty so by the time I get back to my main island the difficulty is right when I get there and suffer boredom until I do or leave it and possibly arrive at winter as it will take even longer to get there with higher difficulty. It’s just a lot of boring maintenance time. This is aside from others claims of garbage ai, inability to cancel anything, retaliation being a random side (not seeing it is boring and dangerous), RNG screwing you on a new island with no resources, no explanation of anything, lacking in real robustness, etc etc

Glitchy
Its fun game but 15min into the game a wild boar comes out and just kills everything. you have no chance of surviving it always happens when I start a new game and 15 minutes into it. I try re-installing the program into my phone just to have it happen over and over and over again now, normally you post to move over the bush where he’s hiding but he just appears in your kingdom and attacks you like a glitch is happening and they’re starting to get really frustrating

I LOVE this game. Simple, fun, great replay-ability, new mechanics depending on which mode you play, mounts are unique, cool art, funny references in the background, overall a great game to play on the plane! Just one thing -and I’d greatly appreciate any response regarding it- Will there ever be a “Online-coop” mechanic? Not just split screen? Any response would be greatly appreciated! And again, GREAT GAME!!
They lure u to download the game
They let u download the 1.1 GB game to lure u to buying screen, otherwise game isnt playable and u just wasted time or maybe even mobile data to download the game. Thats a cheap move from developers. I dont even care how the game is anymore, if they r cheap enough to do actions like this, they deserve 1 star for sure.

Good idea but lacking story
This game gets a lot of good reviews and it has some fun perks however I don’t think there is much point to pay any money for this game. It’s extremely repetitive and boring after afew days (or hours). The platform of side scrolling does make it unique for a mobile game, and the base building is fun. It just doesn’t have the depth for the amount charged.

Really enjoyed experience until workers stopped cutting trees, all my archers decided to hang out on one side of my kingdom only and my pikemen refused to kill the greed attacking the wall directly in front of them. Please fix this stuff
