Garbage
Worst wifi lock. 8 out of 10 it won’t add access code remotely. When it works, it still take 30 seconds to update the code! Few times a year, lose connection and can not control the lock remotely.

I like it , but need to address few bugs like updating new firmware
Too much data usage
App is very slow to open or close the lock when connected in wifi or Bluetooth when it works at all. The Auto Unlock feature doesn’t work at all and the app is sending data like 4Gb in a month… why???
Battery life
The batteries run low very very quickly. If you are using it for any kind of rental property or vacation property, it means changing the batteries quite a bit.

Love the convenience/ question battery usage.
So convenient to use your phone to lock/unlock your door. Great to be able to check the app to see that it is unlocked or without going there also. Found it chew through great quality energizer batteries in no time. Called Weiser and was advised if there wasn’t a less than 20 foot straight line of sight path from your router to the door lock, we should be buying a Wi-Fi booster. We’ve since done that, but really haven’t seen a big saving in battery percentage used or left. Will have to do another test and hopefully it’s better. Good quality lock, good connectivity from the phone wifi to the lock….only concern is battery consumption. No, they said you cannot use rechargeable batteries.
Frustrating
I have had nothing but the worst luck with this Weiser halo Lock. Firstly, no matter how many fingerprints I put in there it will never open with a fingerprint. It goes through batteries like crazy. Currently, I’ve got 40% battery and it won’t lock or unlock automatically for me, it is locked, but the app says it’s unlocked. I really must question its purpose.

Application pratique, mais présente plusieurs bug quand on veut modifier ou supprimer les codes. Nous l’utilisons de façon commerciale pour un hébergement touristique, et devons générer beaucoup de codes, ce qui rend la procédure parfois ardue.
Works good
It’s nice being able to give guests their personal code that expires the day they leave. My only issue is the batteries don’t last but that’s minor
App does not work
Takes more than a minute to lock the door from the app and you must be standing right beside the door to lock it. The app does not give any history of activity and if you are away from home it always shows it is unlocked if you try and check the status. The lock itself works well with the fingerprint activation.

Generally very happy. Unsure why I can’t schedule the device to lock every night at a certain time. Seems like basic functionality?

Good But Too Limited
I’ve had a really good experience with the Wyze app overall. Setup was smooth, everything connected easily, and the lock works great day-to-day. The app is clean, responsive, and does exactly what you’d expect for managing your home devices. That said, there’s one pretty significant gap in the user permissions. Right now, the only options are “Guest” or “Administrator,” and there’s no middle tier. I’d love to give my kids full functionality—like auto-unlock and other smart features—without giving them admin access that allows them to share the lock with others. A simple “Family Member” role with full usage but restricted sharing/management would make this perfect. Everything else is solid—just hoping Wyze adds more granular permissions in the future.

The application requires more information about devices and live GPS location than should be required for a local device. I will be returning the lock and deleting the app.

Perfect lock
The ease of the app for remote unlocking, locking and checking that it’s locked gives great peace of mind. It seemed like it was quite a bit more expensive than some on the market but has proven to be a good choice.

J’ai la serrure depuis 1 mois fonctionne très mal avec l’application. Bloque souvent avec le code, Indique que les batteries sont vident mais elle sont neuves. Je commence à regretter mon achat.

No devices located on app
I am not sure why but we were connected and now it says no device located on app. when I try to reconnect/pair it says I have to do a factory reset. I don’t want to have to keep adding the lock to the app/doing a factory reset. The app isn’t useful at this time.

Problème de connexion WiFi
Depuis quelques temps je n’arrive plus à connecter mes 3 serrures sur mon réseau WiFi. Alors que tout fonctionnait très bien avant avec ma configuration. J’utilise un modem sagemcom modèle 5689e de mon fournisseur internet Bell. J’ai tout fait les reset possible du routeur/modem et des serrures (reglage reseaux et d’usine). j’ai même désactivé le réseau 5G pour n’avoir que le 2.4G. J’ai plusieurs appareils de d’autres marques différentes et ils se connectent sans problème. J’utilise un iPhone 16 pro avec iOS 26.3 avec la dernière version de votre application Weiser. Une aide de votre part serait appréciée !! Merci !!
Happy but not perfect
The app generally works well, but the Bluetooth opening option is a bit hit or miss. It needs to be more consistent. I very much appreciate the auto-lock and notification features.
Lost all confidence in Weiser smart locks
Do not trust or purchase Weiser Smart Door Locks. Just talk to the numerous customers that now have useless Weiser Kevo smart door locks that no longer works as the Kevo app will be discontinued. Why can’t you Intergrate the Weiser app to work with the old Kevo app. The only conclusion is TO INCREASE SALE OF THE NEW WEISER SMART LOCKS. Woohoo a discount that will still cost me $130.00 per lock to be replace in Canada. NO THANK YOU WEISER I will pick a new manufacturer that I can trust and not be afraid that you will discontinue another app like the Kevo app rendering all my SMART LOCKS INOPERATIVE !!

I initially had problems with poor battery life until I read the Troubleshooting Guide. I cannot emphasize it enough to ensure there is no friction for the deadbolt movement! Once I got that resolved the batteries have an acceptable life expectancy. I appreciate the fact that I can lock/unlock the door from anywhere and program the codes remotely for all my guests. Great feature to have!
Need a lot of improvement
This app never works correctly. Always delays with it. Slightly better than its older version but far far from adequate.
Many features don’t work
I really want to love this lock but unfortunately the software updates always end in features not working. The one feature I love the most is the Auto Unlock where the lock senses my phone when I get home and unlocks the door automatically. Sadly this only works about 25% of the time and when it does work it is short lived as it will automatically turn off or stop working with a software update

Auto Unlock always stops working
Lock works fine and all but the auto Unlock always stops working. You constantly have to go in to the app and turn it back on which is very annoying when getting home with full hands. Will probably try a different brand once this one dies. Also the battery dies very quickly even with high quality ones.

No use of this app
The app’s performance is extremely poor, especially in terms of connectivity. You can’t connect the app to lock the door from a distance, even inside the house. Furthermore, you can only lock or unlock the door using the app if you’re within arm’s reach. Is this a joke? If I’m close to the lock, why would I need to use the app to open it? The app is supposed to be convenient, and it should be able to open or close the lock even when I’m far away. I’ve given this app and the lock a 0 rating.
