Most corrupt company
This game and company is the most corrupt I have dealt with. Pushing more pay to play tactics with less and less game content. They hide true costs and when they fraudulently take your money, they will do absolutely nothing other than respond once a day with basic AI based excuses, which don’t even relate to your issue. But don’t worry, they promise to “optimize” the game in the future, even when they tell you there is no problem. Have fun with that.

Bugs and prices
There are countless bugs within the game and developers put little to no effort to fix the bugs. But they charge over $1000 for a base skin and you could still end up with a TEMPORARY skin. While it could be an amazing game with the many cool events and game modes, don’t waste your time with downloading it.
Fun game, but the alliance system needs improvement
I played this game for 1–2 years and spent a lot of time building my account. I enjoyed many parts of it, but my experience with the alliance system was disappointing. I was removed and my city was attacked by my own alliance without any warning or chance to explain. I understand that alliances have rules, but I think players should be given a warning before losing their progress. A game should be fun and enjoyable, not make players feel stressed or punished for taking a break.

Do not sink your time or money into Age of Apes unless you plan to spend endlessly. As a dedicated player who has played for over 3 years (1,200+ days), I can tell you that the game design completely punishes loyal players. A single war loss wipes out 1.6M+ troops—representing over a full YEAR of daily effort to rebuild. While competitor games (like Kingshot or Survival Tiles or Infinity Kingdom) allow players to recover their force within 2 weeks, Age of Apes locks fast recovery behind massive paywalls, favoring heavy spenders while ignoring long-term F2P or light-spending players. To make matters worse, their customer support is a total runaround. After 18 emails with their support team, they passed me back and forth to in-game CS. When I finally reached a live agent, they barely read the case and dismissed 3 years of loyalty with: "we cannot return resources... pay more attention going forward!" Save yourself the headache. The progression is heavily rigged, and support does not care about keeping long-term players. I personally worked either Chinese companies and they were too professional and They Don’t even belong to the professional work of any other Chinese work

It's just okay cool art style
Great Game
I like how the storyline of the game is set up and how we can build and manage cities. The only downsides is how long it takes to do certain things. Stuff like leveling up buildings and traveling places take up to much time. The other downside is that it’s too much stuff you have to buy to get. I don’t think it’s fair that every mech except one has a price to it. Why is it that every fighter can be earned without pay but most of the mechs cost forty dollars?

Complex!
Great game, just very complex and there are various aspects I don’t understand. Too many games within the game…I like playing the main part but if I was to play every single other part of it and all the events I wouldn’t have time to sleep, eat or work. I know this suits some…gaming 24/7. But I just play when I can to relax/take time out from work for a few minutes!
Bugs in the game
The game is fun, but it is the basic the more money you put the more powerful you get. There is no real strategy and it is fairly expensive and the developers come up with more ways to make you spend on so many different things. Furthermore, the app will occasionally charge you for packages you didn’t order. I’m happy that Apple takes any refund request seriously, but considering the money this company is making, this should not happen at all. Right now there is a bug in the game, but the developers are unresponsive. It’s very frustrating. So my rating is 2 stars because of the bugs and how very expensive this game is.

I love this game
This game is so fun that I am 45 and I am still playing it. I love it so much that I can’t stop playing it. I play at seven hours a day that’s how fun it is.
Pay to play
This game is not worth it. You’ll waste your life and money on a system that operates like a casino - you won’t receive any top items unless you spend a few thousand dollars. And it psychologically keeps you playing bc once you donate money you feel obligated to the game which is a constant cycle of clicking and tapping hence tap for fun. Whoever spends more money wins. And the game crashes sometimes, and if your in battle your city will burn after the crash and the developers won’t reimburse your losses. And these losses are HUGE 1000d speedups 3-5b rss of iron and food, troops (they require capsules, rss, and 4d to train 2,000 troops) imagine looking 6,000,000 because the app crashed. And not to mention it takes a 10hr a day player to actively harm all of this in about 6-7 months and it’s gone within 10 minutes. This is the game. Tap for nothing, pay for fun, and then you lose.

Customers Service is absolutely poor
When you bring up an issue with customer service, they literally act like bots, lack understanding of any situation & just give you scripted automated responses. Even when you provide accurate examples & evidence, all they do is keep going round & round in circles without resolving anything by just repeating the same thing over & over again. Customer service is just useless but they’re the only way to report any issue; you cannot speak directly to the developers. As someone who has played the game for 〜3 years I have an understanding of how the game works, yet customer service will patronize you constantly, as if you’re not aware of all the aspects of the game after playing it for a while. The game has constant bugs & errors that never get fixed, but the developers ALWAYS manage to add new monetary events, rather than fixing core issues within the game that have persisted since its launch. They do not value their players whatsoever & just see them as a source of revenue.
