Addictive
I’ve been playing Black Deck for about two months now, and I have to say—it’s incredibly addictive! I actually started playing because I saw an ad for it on another app, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I agree with some of the other reviews that the pricing can be a little odd. However, as you play, you learn what is worth spending on and what is better to hold off on. This is definitely a long-term game, and you can progress as quickly or slowly as you want. Spending can help you move faster or get a card you really want, but I don’t feel it’s necessary to enjoy the game or build a strong deck. There are ads, but I don’t find them to be any worse than other mobile games. I also appreciate the work that goes into the updates and events. When issues with the app do happen, the developers have compensated players with free items, which makes the occasional problem much easier to overlook. What I really enjoy is the depth of the game. There are so many ways to build your deck, and power doesn’t always mean you’ll win. A deck with good synergy can be much stronger than simply putting your highest-powered cards together. The cards are creative and fun, and the God cards have some beautiful artwork. The game also continues to give you reasons to improve. As you progress, you face stronger opponents while also gaining access to better cards, rewards, and higher-level dungeon battles where you can earn legendary artifacts. Legendary cards aren’t automatically stronger right away and can be harder to level, but many scale much higher over time, which makes investing in them rewarding. There are also plenty of ways to participate outside of regular battles. Joining a good guild can make a huge difference. Guild members can help you improve your deck, and Guild Wars can help you progress faster. There are even long-term investments, like gem mines and storage, that may cost more upfront but pay off the longer you play. What surprised me most is how much more strategic the game has become for me. When I started, I mostly looked at which cards had the highest power. Two months later, I’m thinking about synergy, abilities, heroes, gods, artifacts, traits, and how everything works together. I’m constantly experimenting, and even when I think I’ve built a strong deck, there’s still something I can improve. Overall, Black Deck is a great game if you enjoy collecting, strategy, and having something to work toward. You can play casually or really dive into the strategy and deck building. After two months, I’m still hooked—and I still feel like I have a lot more to discover!

The servers are some of the worst in any game in this game format. And beware, any purchase is susceptible to a double charge that the game, nor the App Store will reimburse more than once. Enjoying the game but really want to mute the sounds so I can listen to music or audiobook while I play please!!
Fun but…
Way to many pop up adds. Its a nice simple game but i can barely get a word in between the adds. Every time i click on something theres another pop up. Just deleted it
Super fun but my gowd
Game super fun even though copy paste game of raid shadow. Only thing that is grinding me gears is the game crashes so many times! Always at worst parts where if you leave all the loot after is missed no chace getting it. Lost out on so many treasure tower tuns / lucky boards.

Horrible Customer Support
Terrible Support for a Problem They Created I enjoyed the game until I ran into an issue involving a Blue Dragon Mecha skin I purchased. The game showed that I owned the skin, but there was no option to equip it. I contacted support, followed their instructions exactly, restarted the game, provided multiple screenshots, and repeatedly explained that the skin menu they said should appear simply did not exist on my account. Only after several back-and-forth messages did support finally check with the developers and discover the real reason: my account had been placed into an undisclosed test group where skins cannot be equipped until Account Level 17. I was only Level 12. So the game allowed me to purchase a skin without warning me that I would not be allowed to use it for another five account levels because of an experiment I was never told I was part of. Their own support documentation also said skins could be equipped immediately, which was not true for my account. I asked for a reasonable solution: enable the feature, remove me from the test group, or simply refund what I spent on the unusable skin. They refused all three. One support representative even told me that the early levels can be completed “fairly quickly,” completely missing the point. Another characterized the undisclosed test restriction as simply a “feature of your account,” said nothing more could be done, warned me not to submit duplicate requests, and closed the conversation. The skin itself is not the real issue. The issue is the way this was handled. The developers created an undisclosed restriction, placed my account in a test group, allowed me to purchase without warning me, support initially gave me incorrect instructions because they apparently did not know about their own test, and once they finally figured out what happened, they refused to offer any meaningful remedy. After seeing how support handles a problem caused entirely by their own testing and lack of disclosure, I am seriously questioning whether this game deserves any more of that time.
Great Game
I think certain cards that are legendary are almost not good enough to be legendary. Crypt Lord is good but its skills make no sense for a support. Alot i mean alot of skills i think should be edited changed etc. there should be a trade mechanic there shud be more epic and rare cards than legendary. I feel like in a card styled game like this a really solid deck would have like mostly epic faired with a really good or 2 legendary cards that have skills that make the deck work better. There also needs to be more to do within the game playing the arena all day gets boring. Im not a huge fan of the artifacts but if they’re gonna be there, there should be more types of skills they provide. Overall things should move quicker and im not sure whats up with the summoning i get the same 3 epic cards almost more often than i get rare cards. While also never having summoned other epic cards. I feel like theres a bit too much focus on the goblins and dragon decks recently to the point where they arent completed scaled fairly against other factions. Last deck power doesnt really make sense cuz people with decks like 4 million less than me can beat me and people who have decks 5 million stronger than me i have beaten before, but that goes back to my previous point. Certain factions are just stronger i feel like. Its a great game but needs to have alot more i hope this happens soon.

Fun game but way too many pop ups. Another greedy gaming company that focuses on pop ups every 10 seconds as opposed to actual content. I understand they need money but these rates of pop ups is ridiculous! Also $120 usd for a gear set is absolutely absurd. Whoever is in charge of your pricing should be fired immediately!
Game is great
The game itself is great but it’s a huge money grab. The prices make zero since. $100 for 4000 gems? Doesn’t even get you 10 hero summons. Which you may get a legendary out of it. $30 for a hero skin? Then you gotta buy multiple skins. $15 a month for diamond pass but you still have to buy the monthly season pass for $10 or $30 for premium. Game is great but pricing makes it hard to want to keep playing. Make your money but make it reasonable and people would spend more

Won’t start
I loved this so much a few years ago. However, after reinstalling it the game always freezes in the tutorial. The rat attacks my archer and then the game freezes and becomes completely unresponsive.
Great game but so many pop ups
I really enjoy this game. I like the art and the game dynamics are really good but almost every time you go from one menu to the next something will pop up trying to sell you something in game. That’s not to mention that you can watch actual ads to get more free items but seriously there are so many pop ups that happen in game just by moving from one screen to the next. Otherwise it’s a five star game for me.

Trying to get my account back
This game popped up on insta and it looked interesting. I ending up finding out it’s the same game I played almost 3 years ago. I really liked the game and forgot to install it on my new phone. I opened the app and tried to log in to my account and it keeps putting me back at square one. I don’t want to restart the game especially since I already had progress. Is there any way that this could get fixed?

Fun game but missing -
Me and a few of my fellow guild mates were discussing and were wondering if the the implementation of guild testing battles will occur between 2 guild players so we can test our decks against each other in practice. We were also wondering if we will eventually be able to share arena logs to the guild chat. As we’re recruiting new members and it would be easier to show them then typing and having it erased after we tap on something other then the text box .
Pay to play
Game is fun and engaging, only downside is you have to pay $8 every week for the diamond pass to get the instant battles. Without the instant battles, you get from the diamond pass, the game is unplayable. Without the instant battles that you must pay for, it will take you setting your phone down while the game plays in “Auto Battle” for hours to achieve what you can do with a click of a button. So if you feel the game is worth paying $8 a week to play then don’t download.
Long time player
I really enjoy this game but feel each year it’s turning more and more into a pay to play game. What’s worse is if you do spend money you are not guaranteed to get cards it’s a gamble. You can easily spend $50 and get nothing but garbage cards.
kinda addictive
lowkey seen this game on an instagram reel advert, thought it looked cool so I gave it a go. Was easy to get the hang of. Barely progressed and can’t wait to keep playing.
Dungeon Artifacts
After I beat a new stage in Dungeon, I’ll have a lucky spin. Every spin, I always watch two ads so I can get a guaranteed chest. Those chest will give me artifacts. But for some reason, sometimes the artifact just doesn’t show up in my storage. I never find them. Also, I don’t know if it is my phone or not, but the game often crashes.
Good game to pass time
Ive seen alot of people saying game crashing, mine also did that was because I was using an old phone that couldnt handle the new power requirements XR now using 16e and the game is fine but good game to pass the time away
Cool Concept - Awful Execution
Flashy and fun at first. But beware - this game is bloated with WAY too many features. A deceptively simple game that reels you in and then bombards you with an unnecessary amount of card upgrades, game modes, shops, items, tournaments, guilds, card types….there is just way too much going on in this game to keep my interest. Not to mention the onslaught of pay-to-win pop-ups.

Annoying store pop ups asking you buy something after every screen or game. It’s a fun game just annoyed with them asking me to buy something every section of the game.

Developers listened to player feedback and now give hero tokens in replace of season tokens at the end of the season or mini-season. Great game, of course, but nice to see a development team that takes player feedback seriously.
Crashes won’t load
It’s crazy you pay to play a game and it crashes non stop and won’t load. What’s the point in spending the money I have to play if it won’t load.
Fun but a bit tedious
I have been playing for a couple of months and I do like the game, it’s similar to another game I play so it was easy to understand. I like that after a while you have enough resources to not watch ads as often. I wish they would change the amount of dailies you have to do. Like arena battles should be 3-5 max for both personal and guild dailies. And I only want to do 1 campaign battle per day. It’s boring and I can’t advance unless I get a new super good card. It all takes a lot of time when factor in playing war 6 days a week, 3 raid battles and ALL the other daily activities.
Fun game
Its a fun game to play but the amount of packs you can buy that pop up are ridiculous. They try to force you to buy packs to advance and you have to watch endless ads to progress at all. The event league is also a turn off because it puts to in the same league with the top players making it impossible to earn rewards for new players. Great idea but the game needs a QoL overhaul to more playable.
Tutorial is meh
App insisted on a review immediately after the first tutorial set. Nothing special. Exactly as expected. Nothing to make it stand out.

Fun game. But expect excessive game advertising pay to play pop ups. I’m talking about 8-10 every time you start the game and at least 1-2 every time you navigate within the game.

Great game, terrible update
I love this game and have spent lots of time in it. So it's really disappointing that the latest update (at 24 September 2024) is really buggy. Takes an age to load, then in game randomly crashes or freezes. Sometimes catches up with itself but if not have to close and reopen so back to incredibly slow loading.
Decent
Great game but serious server issues. You can only get on about half the time. Even on wifi it says you don’t have a connection yet everything other app on my phone works just fine. Needs some serious maintenance.

a game with tremendous potential that still relies on gambling. a "chance" to upgrade your weapon with gold is gambling. especially if you pay money for gold, and if you don't, you pay with your time. haven't you heard how damaging freemium gambling games are for children's psychology? stop this nonsense.
Fun game however events are not always listed
This is a fun strategic game. I have been free to play for almost 2 years. Decided to use $ to get a card during the Halloween event and paid attention to the event calendar. However, an unlisted concurrent event of 2x increased chance to summon legendary cards appeared days after card event was still active. Contacted support and explained 2x event with Halloween premium guaranteed summon should have been added to calendar so that players could use tokens during 2x event. Support replied offering no compensation. Said nothing could be done.
Fun but aggressive purchase adverts
Fun to play game. But try to change a screen or tap something, you get an ad to buy something and some of it is over £100. One or two ads at a time. It’s relentless. Even if I was to buy something, I still don’t think this will deter it from trying to get you to buy more. Do they really think people are gong to buy ‘packs’ for over £100? It’s a virtual game where you own nothing.
Want to reset
I played this game a while ago and it was really fun but I tried it again but had forgotten everything about it so I wanted to reset I went back and tried everything I could think of but couldn’t reset so if you could just let me make like a new account or something I would love that add this and I would give it 5 stars cause it’s a amazing game also there’s no settings button so i would just like to have choice
Great addicting fun but pricey
I have spent a good chunk of change to get my deck the way it is now I wasted a lot of money on stuff before I realized how to build a deck so mostly that’s on me took finding the right guild and people to help give me advice on the game but it only made me want to spend more the thing I don’t understand is the price of things sometimes you can get a good deal but the fact $100 can’t even get you 10 legendary summons is crazy of course there’s packs and stuff to get 10 summons cheaper but what about when those are gone and even then it’s $40 for 9 summons and most will be 4* that won’t help your current deck absolutely love the game that’s why it’s 5* but for a child with no money or even adults with no money it will take a LONG time to get where you want with your deck
The single player experience is fine
Besides the ads being misleading, multiplayer (which is the main purpose of the game) is p2w. I used to be one of the top 100 players in the game as f2p, never spent a penny. Then they started releasing paywall cards that were immediately S tier. Then they started releasing features for ‘quality of life’ that just let you pay to win tournaments at the last second (skip tickets). They also reduced the gold you could get from battles and increased gear upgrade costs. Definitely dropped from top 100 after that. My literal last straw was that they wouldn’t ban a hacker who was reported multiple times and taking spots on leaderboards. (He had a card in his deck that doesn’t exist as a card you can put in decks, it only exists as a token) Oh yeah, also the 2nd person they hired for player support comes off as abrasive and unempathetic (they only had literally 1 person for years, she needs a raise).
This can be a 5 star
Has all the goods to be a 5! However, because I grind for my goods, I watch all chest ads for obvious reasons, what is letting me and the game down is that 40% of them result in either ‘loading connection icon’ or black screen of crash. Please fix it!

Raid knockoff
This game is a lower graphic version of raid. Same set up and icons as Raid. Yet just like raid, it’s borderline racist with most characters looking European and not worldwide. No Asian legendary characters, or other cultures. And as usual it’s based on pay to play. You pay in their shop then you’ll be in the group of top players. Be nice to see a game do it right like Empire and Puzzles.
