This game is awesome! It is nice because it gets you thinking and it sharpens the mind. So far I have down loaded it and played and now I am sitting on my couch watching Billy Madison. It is a really good game. The only thing I do not like are the adds that is the only flaw I have had. All In all it a great game!

I’ve really liked this game for years, got pretty fast at it too. Unfortunately, now the faster animation option is stuck behind a paywall, and there’s been more ads lately. This just seems like a blatant cash grab and it sucks that I’ll have to try and find another game like this now.
So close to good
Great game…but so frustrated by the, EVEN WHEN OPTIMIZED WITH MINIMUM ANIMATION, slowww animation. I’m so much faster than this game lets me play.
This isn’t possible
there’s 26 levels and with every level it adds an extra block. everytime you add a block the minimum number of moves is multiplied by 2 and plus 1. which means by level 26 you would have to make 67,108,863 moves MINIMUM to complete the game. great game tho

Every second when I left the app for even a second, or when a battery notification came up, a ad would pop up. Fix this! Nobody will want to play your game if we are getting ads left and right!
Love the game - little tweaks
Great game! Love it. Only things that I would change is having non-comfort colors on the movable pieces. And then when selecting a piece to move, have the piece raise up instead of lighting up the stick that you selected. I’m looking at the movable pieces, not the stick.. Additionally, the processing time is really slow (could be my connection, but doubtful as I have played on multiple WiFi connections as well as full 5G cellular connections), it has given me issues when trying to select a piece to move and will not register my tap while playing. Playing on IPhone 15 promax. All in all, 5 stars if it wasn’t for my personal preferences lol…
Game’s getting too greedy
Putting faster animation on premium feature list is just too much. Game will be slower, will take on our time much more. It won’t be the same anymore.
Tedious
The game is fun at first. But then once you get going and figure out the pattern it just gets tiresome. It would at least be nice if you could automate the flipping of the first three, which is done over and over throughout the game. The ads are not too bad. They are long, worthless and annoying and the banner at the bottom contains some ridiculous ads. But it is mostly unobtrusive. Ultimately the game is just tiresome and lacks any real challenge once you figure the pattern out.

I don’t do reviews often, I have a ton of apps. But I’ll say that Hanoi towers is great for my brain! It is challenging and intriguing. Took me many times to pass the level 6, now I’ve got 7 and I’m gearing up!

Fun for the 3 seconds you get to actually play it. But ads are shoved down your throat every other move.
Too sensitive.
Seems overly sensitive — disks I didn’t tap going to shafts I didn’t tap. And would be great if players could save partially completed games and restart from a save point rather than having to start all overto get a perfect score.

Slower than the brain
The animations to play this game has an option to be sped up, but even the faster animations are too slow for me as a player. As a speed runner of ToH, the animations need to be nonexistent for competitive play, otherwise the timer has no value on this app. I would also like to see the disks and pillars minimized in size. The visual clutter does bog down faster players. I won’t recommend this app until they accommodate ToH speed runners.

Another fun game littered with ads
Another example of an IOS game that I would enjoy and would continue to play if it had 1/5th the amount of ads. Unskippable ads before and after every single level and I had to watch 4 full length ads before I played level 2 since the tutorial gets them before and after as well.
A few issues I found…
Maybe I’m just stupid and can’t find the button (entirely possible), but I find it really annoying the buzzing when you get one accidentally in the right place. I’m very quick at this game (years of professional practice in games such as these), and the buzzing is annoying because it breaks my concentration, especially on bigger levels. I was wondering if first, how can I turn this off? And two, (suggestion) make levels that are already in stages of incomplete. Like, for example random circles stacked upon each other, and it’s like a puzzle level. Other than that, I’m super addicted to this game. I love the puzzle of it, and this game has the perfect aesthetic :) - A

Tutorial thing restarts your game
Yea it does that. I played 16 and when I clicked on it (question mark) out of curiosity my entire progress was restarted just like that. It would be nice if SOMETHING was done about it. Because if someone clicks that and their progress restarts they’d wanna quit life.
Solid tower of Hanoi mobile game
Great to see a working tower of Hanoi game on mobile again. There are some ads but they are fairly short and don't pop up often (thanks devs!). The game is user friendly and clean with some quality of life settings you can change so definitely check the settings once you start. I would note for anyone coming to play, that you almost certainly will not beat the largest puzzle. The minimum number of moves for that one is over 67 million. If you took one second per move, it would take you over two years to complete. That is assuming you make zero mistakes and never take your eyes off the game in that time. It does save your board state so you could technically do it while having a regular life, but it would likely take decades and you would have to make sure your phone survives that long as well as be able to recognize exactly where you were in the puzzle based on the board state, which can be difficult because the first easy state to recognize will take over a year to get to. You can recognize harder states if you have trained your eyes, but imagine having to do this for a 67 million step puzzle. How many board states would you need to be able to recognize? Far too many I think.

Omg the ads
Long tortuous ads every time you start a level. If there’s a way to turn them off it is well hidden (probably need to watch an add to get to settings). The game itself works fine. Graphics are boring but effective.
The buzz is frustrating
Takes a long time to complete higher levels. Without the buzz when you’ve made a wrong move is extremely off putting and you lose your train of thought. Nowhere to turn it off. Other than I like it!

Good basic game play, but control is inconsistent
I like this game but when more than one tower is available, the game control is very inconsistent in interpreting screen swipes for placing rings. If two tower are available in the direction I’m no wing, the game persistently places rings on the other tower than the one I’m indicating. This ruins my move count when I’m trying to accomplish the goal in a minimum number of moves. Very frustrating.
Nice game
Nice implementation of this game. A perfect game requires (2^n)-1 moves, where n is the number of discs. Level 26 would thus require 67.1 million moves at a minimum. The recursion gets hard to mentally track at about level 9-10. I wonder how far some have actually made it.

Great design, one major problem
I really enjoy this app, it’s simple and bug free. I use this app a lot to calm myself. However, the drag and drop feature makes shifting towers 9+ really wear down on your thumb. I think some type of feature where you only have to tap would minimize this. Also, the impromptu ads make it hard to keep track of where you are in the tower shift as it breaks your concentration unexpectedly. I would be willing to invest in a “pro” version to get rid of the ads if thats an option

Pretty much what you should expect from a free app
Good tower interface. Once you get to the longer towers, stop trying to win 3 stars for a perfect run, ads will interrupt you occasionally which will mess with your flow. It also interrupts audiobooks and podcasts, which vu like to listen to while playing Otherwise it’s a solid app.

I find it hilarious there’s a level 26 considering the minimum number of moves to finish it is 2^26-1 which is over 67 million. I was really surprised it went that high. Cool app though

Inaccurate touch
It’s almost impossible to make a perfect score because at some point you will make a mistake and put a ring where you don’t want to, forcing you to make at least 1 extra move. Touchscreen is very inaccurate and mistakes happen often even though you try to move a ring on the correct stick
Cannot listen to other audio
I would love it if I could listen to audio from my podcast while I play. Once you know how to solve the puzzle, you follow the same basic algorithm again and again. Not being able to have audio from another source while playing makes the grind of playing not worth it in the end.
Faster animations please
Very fun to spend time doing the harder levels. I’m currently trying 17. I would love if they added even faster animations. So I can go faster without having to worry about missing a step.

Love tower of Hanoi but..
I hate to see such a great ancient game come back from the dead on this new platform but I hate to see how this monetizes it. Yes I understand that developers need to make money but paying a dollar for 10 undos? Isn’t that a bit ridiculous? I mean these puzzles get up to the tens of thousands of moves and just to dangle that over someone’s head who is a couple of moves from a perfect score is now and days pretty typical of these types of games and I was hoping this may be the exception but was disappointed. I would be more than willing to pay to remove ads or even watching ads which the developers make money off of anyway to help support said developers. I mean how about giving coins for competed levels or something like that. Besides this big issue this game would be perfect. 2 stars until this is fixed. Thanks

I love this game but I’m so frustrated that now if you use a coin to undo it doesn’t take away a move. It’s not right. It will mess up your perfect score. Annoying

Suggestion: maybe put a timer and also track time spent on a given run. Love the game, however it is a huge troll, LOL. it is impossible to finish the game. The last level would take about 2 years and 2 months to complete, assuming you made 1 move per second. Thought id get to level 26 with some dedication, not likely 😂 Seriously though tons of fun!!
Horrible glitch
Super glitch game, it’s a tedious game and the decided to glitch at the end of finishing the level. Super unpleasing. Waste of time and enough. Don’t download the app!!!

the game itself is fantastic, theres just one thing i have noticed: when you finish stage 11 and then exit out of it, stage 12 seems to still be locked, despite the 11th stage having stars attached to it. Note: an undo button would be a nice touch cause say youre 3000 odd moves in and you make one mistake, its annoying to have to do the while puzzle again just to get a perfect score.
