Nice idea, and the app could be great, but unfortunately the ads displayed by the app don’t close, no matter what you do, making the app virtually unusable.

Doesn’t save settings
I needed an app to track diagonal rows for a C2C piece. First, apparently I needed to sign up for the free trial of premium to access the feature. Fine. I’ll try that. But then, it *does not save* my settings. Every time I close the app and go back to work, I have to reconfigure the diagonal row tracker. No thanks, too much work. There’s several row tracker app out there for horizontal and vertical counting, this was the only one I found that claimed to do diagonals. Yeah it does, technically. But poorly, oh so poorly. Cancelled the free trial. Deleting the app. Would give 0 stars if I could. It had one thing to do to make me happy, and it couldn’t. First edit I see the developer claims it works for them. Maybe provide documentation as to how to use diagonal counters. I configured them…already a pain to do because I had to click on this corner then click on that corner and had to click just so on my tablet screen or it doesn’t align the diagonals correctly. Then I save the settings. Then I crochet a bit. It works. The diagonal moves up/down as I increment the counter up/down. But heaven forbid I close the app. When I open the app up again, everything I saved in the pattern is gone. I gave up on this app. No documentation I could find. It was just so frustrating, which his why even checked to see if they’d respond. “It works for me” yeah good for you. Try QA testing. I’m not interested in beta testing I resorted to the old fashioned pen and paper. 2nd edit , repsknding to developer’s 2nd edit Glad you fixed it, I’ve already complete the c2c piece with pen/paper to track my diagonals, so I no longer need this app anyway. Yes I saw the faq exists. What I could not find was useful online information as to how to configure the diagonals. I had to ask other users in the online community, resort to google’s ai answers, etc, none of which were very good information. I’m not a fan of apps where one is expected to jump in and guess how it works. Besides this thing being buggy, I felt thrown to the wolves as far as figuring out how to use it. I can appreciate that someone is apparently reading these reviews and acting on them, I am very glad you believe you’ve found the bug and will fix it for future users…I won’t be one of them. But I do suggest you spend more effort on qa-ing your product before releasing new features.

Great app! Lots of features. Some things don’t work perfectly and can be a little glitchy, such as the yarn stash not updating well from Ravelry. But overall a great little app that does what it says in the name, plus some!

I had this app before the premium update, now to get the features I had before I have to pay? No thank you. Don’t take away the features I already had and put them behind a paywall.
Great tool, could be brilliant
I use it for everything when crocheting. As a beginner in crochet, this app makes it so much easier not to lose track and keep on going even when new patterns or stitches get a bit difficult. The one thing that bothers me is how the reminders are made. When the pattern has a lot of changes between rows (increase, decrease, switch stitch etc), I put a reminders for each row, so I can see the instructions for the one I’m doing. Unfortunately, this is a very tedious task and for a long pattern, it takes forever to input it manually. It would help if you could open it on desktop, or import the lines from notes/word/document that would show up as separate reminders that show up for specified row. Inputting it on a phone/tablet within the app is quite frustrating. Importing the pattern doesn’t do it, as it only gives you a preview of the pattern.
Good but it doesn’t hear me
On the stitch counter I turn on the microphone so when I say next it should add 1 to my counter. It doesn’t. I’ve tried everything, the apps recommendations but it still won’t work. Please fix it

To begin with, you should include a picture of the item that goes with the pattern. 2. You should include a diagram of the pattern that requires an image. 3. Selling this app is another way for the person to make more money by not including a diagram.
Love it, but
I have been using this app for a number of years. I love it! It has great features and I find it easy to use. Unfortunately lately the screen constantly flickers when I’m using it. This is obviously very frustrating. If this issue could be looked into it would be appreciated. I would definitely have given it 5 stars but for this issue.

Guter Strick-Tracker - kleine Fehler
Ich find die App super um meine Strickaktivitäten zu tracken. Ich habe so alles übersichtlich an eine Platz, inklusive Anleitung. Aber: wenn ich beim Timer manuell Zeit hinzufüge passt es sich im Widget in der Notch nicht an. Dort steht dann weiterhin die alte Zeit, die fortläuft, das ist ärgerlich. Im Widget im Sperrbildschirm wird aber die richtige Zeit angezeigt. Auch ist es 1-2 mal passiert, dass die App am nächsten Tag eine komplett andere Zeit angezeigt hat (ich vermute auf alte Zeit zurückgesetzt). Zum Glück notiere ich es auch auf einem Zettel und konnte es wieder anpassen. Wenn diese Fehler behoben werden, wäre ich sehr glücklich! Vor allem der Fehler in der Notch. Edit: Die Apple Watch zeigt nach manueller Zeiteingabe auch im kompletten Verlauf die falsche (alte) Zeit an. Edit2: Auch nach mehreren Monaten wurde dieser Fehler nicht behoben, scheinbar gibt es für die App keinen ausreichenden Support. Finde ich für ne App für die ich ein Abo zahle dann leider doch sehr schwach.
Names are switched
I like this app. However, it keeps switching the names of my patterns. When I click on a sweater pattern, it shows me a sock pattern, etc. I deleted my patterns and started over and I had the same issue again. It’s kind of confusing to find the correct pattern.

Easy and helpful
Can upload patterns from pictures and pdfs, create multiple counters for rows/stitches, and it has an in-app project timer. Also has a place to keep notes. I think it is very straightforward and very convenient. There are ads but they are not distracting.

En voulant télécharger mon patron, l’appli a affiché une page sur laquelle il fallait cliquer « ici pour télécharger » Me suis retrouvée dans ma messagerie avec un sms sur lequel était indiqué un code à envoyer à ce numéro. Résultat immédiat: 4,50€ dépensés pour un accès à des jeux de « braingymnastics » Habituellement je ne me fais pas avoir par des pubs mais là, tout était fait pour que je croie que c’était la manœuvre à suivre pour télécharger le patron.. donc méfiance!
Great app but…
I love this app and use it all the time. Although recently there have a been a few glitches with the PDF patterns I’ve imported. It used to be super easy, hit the pencil icon, write what i need or cross out the row I’ve done (or parts of a row if it’s particularly complicated) then Save and keep going. Now when i try to write on them, the letters are angled, so writing curvy letters like an ‘s’ is practically impossible. Also, when i write then go back most of the time it takes me back to the first page which is seriously annoying if I’m several pages into the pattern. Also the look of it is different, i can’t tell if I’m in writing mode or not and a lot of times i end up writing instead of scrolling. Otherwise, it’s definitely an app i can’t do without!!

I just need a row count app
Downloaded the app and deleted in 5 mins because I cannot figure out how to count the rows without creating a project. In this 5 mins I had 2 advertisements already. Bad user experience and hard to navigate. When you name the app row counter - it has to be firstly easy to count rows, it needs to be a prominent feature on the user interface. Sadly it’s not.
AMAZING AND EASY
This is a great app with so much functionality and a relatively intuitive user interface. The number of projects you can have and the ability to separate them into parts is fantastic and I love how you can sync secondary counters and adjust them individually. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add an option to choose whether secondary counters start at zero or one to their individual settings pages because it took me some time to find that setting in the general app.

First downloaded this when it literally only counted rows. Just heard about new features and on redownloading it discovered vast improvements. Liking the horizontal and vertical market lines and the ability to import a pdf pattern.
