App great
The app is fantastic just so bummed that HSBC leaving Australia, so it’s really no use to me anymore
Have been with the bank 65 years and you are now pulling out in Australia !! What a shame
Not a happy loyal customer
Urgent follow-up
Still waiting my call back re failed schedule payment?
Not very functional
This is one of the worst banking apps I’ve used. It’s so hard to search for transactions using the search functionality and doesn’t have any budget tracking abilities. We enjoy banking with HSBC but the app needs some additional basic features that most people would find helpful.
Not the bank for Australians
Doesn’t have PayID, or allow multiple offset accounts without a terrible amount of trouble.
Great Bank
We are very devastated to see you leave Australia, my husband is from the UK and has been with you for 52 years and we now have the difficult job of changing all our money payments and income over. Sad to see you go!
Not satisfied
The bank has been giving me disappointing services
Review
Can get quick balance on app home screen. So have to login to app to see how much money available. Can do on every other banking app I have. Bizarre. Its like HSBC still living in 1997!
Reorder accounts
Functionality is incrementally and very slowly improving this terrible app but the inability to be able to reorder accounts is just lazy.
App works but behind the competitors
The HSBC AU app works fine but fine is not cutting it these days. The app functionality is way behind the competitors or even the HSBC UK app. Clunky and requires an immediate update to stay relevant.
Can’t believe you’re leaving
I’ve been with you for nearly 10 years and I have loved your security, your rewards, your credit card features and international banking - so disappointed you’re leaving; here’s hoping you’ll one day be back
Why??
Let’s update the app when you’re bailing on us, why bother?
User Interface
needs more features in the app
An app from the 1980s
HSBC have the lowest rates, but the user experience is horrendous. Their app is totally useless. The worst.
PayID
Seriously need to have PayID facility
Good Bank
Good bank for Daily Transactions
constant update for degrade
ridiculous app updates. I just updated yesterday and today, it says out of date. I know IT in Australia is backwards in thinking, but it doesnt mean u should release updates faster than users can realise
Historical records
I want to see 2 years historical data on my mobile
Basic app, nothing too special
Compared with other banks, and I have banked with multiple, this is an app that lacks a lot of the functions and ease of use that other banking apps provide.
Opening global account
Having problem opening global account
Love this bank
The best bank I have dealt with
Statements
Unable to run a statement of transactions for a particular period ie year, on one account only
Very little functions
I have been using HSBC AUSTRALIA app for a few years. It’s very inconvenient because its functions are very limited compared with HSBC HK app, especially the time deposits. One can find when the deposit starts or end and make changes.
No payid
Not convenient
Using the App
For some odd reason you can only use the Banking app on 1 device where as with my British account I can have it on more than 1 device
Good
I’m very happy
Clunky interface
Outdated interface - requires a lot of double clicking to transfer between accounts compared to sleek “Big4” banking apps. Annoying continuous prompts for a review.
Global Transfer Foreign Currency
I cannot change ( particularly raise ) Global Foreign currency limits by mobile (OR EVEN through) internet banking. Highly jeopardise my money management in HSBC Australia.
Jem
Jem was BRILLIANT. THANK YOU SO MUCH ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
iPad
Screen does not rotate when I have iPad sideways
Best app
Very user friendly and stable connection. Highly recommend
Updates suck
I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO UPDATR YOUR STUPID APP JUST TO CHECK MY BANK BALANCE.
HSBC Australia app
If only my balances from my Investment account could be shown on the app, this would be perfect
Let down by bank
My bank card was blocked for this bank over the Christmas period and when I could finally order a new one, it took a week and they had to send a new card! The app provided nothing to support... literally so lucky that I had another account and somewhere to stay! I was so excited to have hsbc as my main account as it reminded me a bit of home (UK)! So disappointing! Still waiting for my complaint to be dealt with.
Service in hk
They don’t provide enough assistance to the account holders in hk. Lack of knowledgeable staffs for the global account in hk branches.
World’s Best International Bank!
I hate to know you’re exiting Australia retail banking. 😔
Awful
Slow payments. Bottom of the pile App functionality. No interest rate pass on. Can’t stand you as a bank.
消費紀錄挺亂的
整合消費紀錄會更好 ⋯ 至少可以稍微讓我們記帳吧
Bring back bank statement view in app
As per my title. This app has a lot less features than the last one and it affects my financial management
Updates always required?!
“Faster and Simpler”, except that every time I launch the app I am required to update it! Please consider doing less “feature” updates less often and if you must fix a security problem, fair enough... but it is neither faster or simpler if you are going to let out an app that requires constant updates because you don’t test it properly, or your marketing people insist on “great must have new features”!!
Quick and easy to use
Quick and easy to use the banking app very fast and efficient thank you
On line Banking
App has been down for over 24 hours now !!!!
Can’t even log in!
I can’t get past the log in page. Out my details in and then the screen just has a tick box with a ref accept bar and no other text. It all stops there. Ridiculous.
Bank closing
Such a shame HSBC are leaving Australia. Such a progressive bank.
App size way too big
Force us to update to the latest app but the app gets bigger and bigger and the phone is running out of storage. What is the app doing for 500mb?
Prettier, but doesn’t show pending transactions
This new version of the HSBC app available in AU is MUCH prettier and has a more user friendly interface however it does not differentiate between pending and posted transactions. It only shows the pending under details as a “total hold”. In addition your “available” balance is not readily shown and you must go into details to view it. For me, those are two of the most important banking aspects to be able to access and view with clarity.
