Ads Won't Close
i've been playing this game for a really long time. Lately, there are ads that will not close and you have to force close the game. This is very frustrating, especially when playing the rewards game. It does no good to report them to support. They don't do anything about it. I am about ready to just give it up. It isn't worth the aggravation! ============================================ Your response to me was, and I quote: "We'd like to get this fixed right away, however, we need more details. After force closing your app, please submit an in-game message via Settings » Support » Contact Us. In that message so that our team can get the info needed to more accurately assist you! We hope to hear from you soon!" ============================================ Gaslight much? I stated 'there are ads that will not close and you have to force close the game'. It would be safe to assume that force closing the app had been done!!! Add to that, 'It does no good to report them to support' could mean that a REPORT WAS MADE and you respond you need more details. What? Screen shots and filing a complaint via your in-game message portal isn't good enough? What would be better would be MOBILITYWARE monitor and notify their advertisers their time limits are abusive OR, MOBILITYWARE remove the statement that you can close ads after 5 seconds.

To many advertisements ,especially the women that do not need to be showing there body in that way .
Love it but it’s crashing
I have quite a few games from Mobilityware and love them. Games are fast and fun and I don’t mind the short ads. I am having a lot of problems with this game as it crashes almost every time I watch an ad. I have to restart my IPad and it gets very annoying Please fix this!!

Used to be a good game but ads ruined it
I used to love this game but the ads have become utterly obnoxious. Interrupting games randomly, noisy ads when I have all sounds turned off, drowning out my audiobooks. I’m going to have to find a new game. This one’s no good anymore.
Freezing
Game freezes after I win a crown and I don’t get my bonuses. Screen stays stuck on glowing spot in the middle of the screen.
Annoying Ads
The pop-up Ads, will really annoy you, especially the ones that make it hard to close, with hidden buttons. Think strongly before you download. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Vocabulary
I’ve enjoyed playing this for quite a while, earning a daily letter toward a word. Most of the words were either unknown to me at the time or I rarely used them, but I appreciated them. Recently, that feature has been disabled, which to me, greatly reduces the desire to play. Please consider deactivating that feature.
Bot players
I don’t know what you call it but I call it bot players. Players that pop up and are rapid to return a play. They are not in my friend’s group that I play with. I think they are computer generated. What I don’t understand is they close the game and I can still play and if I had the chance to play, I would win. I just played one of these and they closed the game with the bot winning by only about 6 points. If I had been able to play my last two letters, I would have gotten an additional 27 points and won the game. This happens ALL the time. I’ve gotten to the point I’ve started declining their invite to play.
Too many ads
There are way too many ads. You watch ads more than you get to play
Excellent word game with one annoying bug
I love playing this game. It’s challenging but not impossible to solve. Some obvious real English words (that aren’t proper nouns) aren’t recognized and won’t get added as bonus words, but whatever - just move on. There is one annoying bug every time I reach ten punches on the crown card. This little “fire” animation will appear in the middle of the screen but nothing else happens and there’s no way past it. You have to completely close the game and relaunch it to move on. I have a screen shot of it but can’t upload it to this review. For this I gave it -1 star.
Good game but crashes
Downgraded to 2 stars because of crashes. Today the ad for Coco Beach Florida locked up. I made a screen shot but cannot get it to attach to this review. App support server will not open to leave a comment. Developers need to review the ads they accept. I would probably give 4 or even 5 stars but it crashes regularly and must be restarted. Even had to reboot my pad a few times. The ads are not too annoying and the puzzles fun to solve. I see other reviews from a couple of years ago that say the same. The problem has obviously not been fixed.

I have been playing this game forever, and I love it!! I usually don't do reviews, but this is one very challenging game. You'll love it!!

I love the game hate the ads so I think I will stop playing as it takes the joy out of it to be hit with so many scam ads and junk

Recently, I have seen very very inappropriate ads shown in your game. The ad is sexual in nature and very demeaning to women. You need to review the ads that are being pushed to your game.
Old word wiz
I accidentally deleted my old Word Wiz. I’ve been playing it forever six years now and I could not retrieve it back so now I have to start all over again.
Problem ad
Your Toyota ad is a big problem. It flashes during my game every 10 seconds, even when I’m spelling a word out. Extremely annoying! I play it daily but I’m ready to delete the game. No one should have to put up with such interruption. Reading other recent reviews, it’s evident that other players made the same complaint about the pop up ads. You didn’t respond to them and you didn’t fix the issue. You’ve lost another customer.
Easy, relaxing
I have played this game for several years. My only complaint is that there is not enough time to read the definitions of the bonus word. There used to be plenty of time. Why has it changed?
Needs more work
I went up into the hundreds yesterday, and it has the same background agricultural test site picture, and no extra incentives- just another grid time after time and some encouraging words. Similar games have change of image and more rewards. I got bored and stopped playing.

It takes longer to wait through an ad than to play a game. Otherwise OK.

5 stars to 2 with update
This was one of my favorite games until the last update. Now it’s just miserable to play. I may get rid of it with so many ads. I understand and accept the need for ads but they now overwhelm the game. I also am not a fan of the new backgrounds and other graphics. I’m sorry to lose this game but it’s no longer enjoyable.

Pop ups
I’m not one to write reviews. I understand that the company receives revenue from ads and patiently wade through the multiple screens between games. However, over the last few weeks, there are pop up ads DURING play that must be X’d out of. These ads go away only to return (same exact ad with play options) mere seconds later. At Christmas, it was a beverage snowman game and now it’s some car maker game. If I wanted to play those games, I’d go find them! But, not on the middle of a descramble letter game where I’m viewing the letters trying to come up with new words. The pop up ad games block the letters and ruin my concentration. Instead of highlighting the advertiser, I’m frustrated and hoping someone in the developer team gets a clue that if people stop playing and delete their game, there will be less revenue generated. Please stop during game play pop up ads…I don’t want to have to continually X out of them to return to the letter list.
Vocabulary incomplete
Puzzle 57, "ret" (to soak) should have qualified as a bonus word but didn't. It's often used in crossword puzzles. Other than that I'm enjoying the game so far.
Not ok w ads mid puzzle
Used to really enjoy the game, but now, with ads mid-puzzle (not just in between them), my ranking of this game and its provider went way down. Not only that, as one ad was playing, another ad/offer popped up in the middle of it playing!!! Geez, enough! I understand you need the ads, but it’s become ridiculous!

Less ads would make it better. Especially since there is a fixed ad at the bottom of each game. Or offer a paid version. I complete each game pretty quickly. The ads are so frequent and often long (not sure why some can be closed quicker than others) that I spend more time waiting for ads. I love the mobilityware products but this one has way too many ads. Maybe every other game would be better or a paid version, of course. I will be looking for another word game where I don’t have to be tortured by ads.
Suggestions
I’ve enjoyed playing the game everyday, but I have just a few suggestions/questions. When playing the Daily Puzzle any Bonus Words you get don’t get added to your points (thanks for fixing the game freezing when you earn a crown). The access to more backgrounds when you earn a crown doesn’t mean that much to me. I think it would be nicer to earn either more clues or bullseyes.

Irritating ads
Recently being plagued by several ads popping up at once, mainly sky, and ads that you have to click through several screens to exit. Still getting ads, as in another review which need the app being closed to get rid of them. Really enjoy playing this game but more stringent checks on ads needs to happen.
Ads every 5 second
You cannot play this game being interrupted by an ad every 5 seconds!! I hope you fix this glitch.
Used daily for years until the recent changes
I was very happy using this app several times per day for years. With recent changes, you do not get credit (a crown) after completing a puzzle without waiting for a full minute for an ad. If you don’t wait a full minute you don’t get credit. I have such an issue with this. I don’t like being forced to wait on apps to complete full minute ads. As a formerly happy customer, I will most probably quit using this app. I will find another app that is less intrusive.

I know there have to be ads for other games but, why in the heck do they have to be sooooo long?? It almost makes me want to delete this game. Plus, what happened to the more difficult option? There's the easy option and that's it. Really disappointing.
Ad every few seconds
I can put up with some ads. After playing this game for a few YEARS suddenly I get an ad every few seconds. I used to like it. Not any more. Bye bye.

Great game love the two modes! Fab idea and challenging. Ads are becoming to be more frequent, yes you can close these down but they are still annoying. To remove ads is expensive. Especially since it’s only up to 14 days this will stay for. Would Be far better to have a £9.99 remove ads for a year. Or something similar £12.99 lifetime removal or something. For such a good game the ads are starting to ruin it for me.

Disappearing puzzle
I like this game but in the last couple of days after completing a game you got a puzzle to complete.But now no puzzle and just says puzzle completed.What has happened to all the puzzles ?
So annoying
I don’t mind ads in free games, I really don’t; after all, that’s how the developers make a living. But the constant auto pop-ups for betting sites – often three at once – are beyond irritating.
Enjoy the game but….
I really enjoy this game, I’ve played past the 5,000 mark and also enjoy the daily challenge puzzle. The reason I submitted only three stars is that in the past several months the advertising has become aggressive in its persistence. What I mean is that certain advertisers make it difficult to tap the “x” without forwarding you to their info site. It’s become so bad that I will totally exit word wiz and restart my game when I see that particular ad. The next issue is that in the past week or so I’m getting a pop up ad on the top of the screen, and even when I close it, it reappears every few minutes. Frustrating since you can’t continue playing until you x that ad!! This last issue may be the one that has me deleting word wiz :(
