I Like Playing Word Town: Word Search Puzzles.
Word Town
Word Town used to be one of my favorite games. It was fun, challenging and kept your mind sharp. Now it is structured for 5 year olds. I have played this game for years but am now considering deleting it and replacing it with something more challenging for adults.
Just one note
Five is too many levels for the daily puzzle. It’s frustrating, not calming.
What is this merge game?
I have this game for the word search to pass the time. Had it for years. Recently it opens to a merge game. Okay fine. I’ll try it out. I figure it’s maybe a beta test. It’s a disaster. After a while there are so many item generaters that they now take up nearly half the board. Supposedly they “can be merged” but there is no way to make that happen. And you can’t delete them either. Even when a higher level of that generator is provided. That merge game needs a lot of work. Also 5 levels for daily challenge is obnoxious. Just saying.
Used to be more challenging
I’ve had this app for some time and it was considerably more challenging. Now it seems to be dumbed down and I can clear a board sometimes in seconds. Hardly worth the effort.

This game stimulates my brain.
Redesign is awful
The new redesign and daily puzzle is awful. I used to play this every day as a challenge now it’s so easy it’s not worth opening the app anymore. Long time user who is going to be deleting the app because it’s more directed towards elementary school kids than adults.

It’s a great game but I’m getting tired of playing the same puzzles over and over again. Grrrr
The best Word Game with Friends
The best word game in this class. I love the interface and gameplay, and the leaderboards with the lotus flower!! I love the ENORMOUS amount of levels and I can save my progress as well in addition to seeing my profile with stats! Please keep updating and adding more forever!!

I have written to support group twice now and an receiving no answer. I have accumulated over 1 million stars but there is no way to use them. Rewards are mainly issued in stars. Are they just existing to collect money?
Fridge magnets
I love this game but you’ve taken away the fridge magnets, that was the Best Bit That’s why I had to drop you a star, just not as much fun now
What recently happened?
It used to be so challenging. I loved it. With the latest update, the user interface is too simplistic. And it gives the topic, rather than leaving us to sleuth it out. I want more, and from reading other reviews, I am not the only one.

Had this on my iPad and it disappeared. It is back again! Do I get charged for playing or is it only when I purchase ? I understand the in-app purchases but don’t want to pay for playing. Some games are listed as free, but aren’t really. The download is free, but not playing the game.
Game Ruined
I played Word Town every morning, but this morning after the first puzzle, it changed over to another totally different game that is stupid! I can’t get back to the original Word Town so just going to delete the game altogether. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have.

Please remove the advert for Chapters which I find extremely offensive. This advert is in very bad taste

Seems like this might be a fun game except there are WAY TOO MANY ADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do understand that’s how you make your money but you must understand that this is extremely frustrating with soooooooo many ads. Not everyone could afford to pay to have the ads removed. Will be deleting this game simply because of the enormous amount of ads.

Love this but its just updated..
Game is great, right level of challenge. But its just updated and now there is a really irritating jumping pile of coins at the bottom of the screen trying to get me to watch an ad. Hate it. Turn it off please.
Word town
I used to enjoy this app and played it daily. They did an update and dumbed it down so much it’s no longer fun. Wasn’t super challenging to begin with and now any 8 year old kid could zip through it in just minutes.
Redo daily puzzle.
I enjoy the old game better than this. Yes there were other puzzles besides the daily. I guess it’s something I’ll have to get used to. The letters are smaller and colored so they’re harder to see. I’m sure there are other games if I have to switch.

I loved this game but now not so much. Now that there isn’t no Ad’s I can’t get help when needed. Guess I’m too old to figure the words out as easily as some. If and when it gets fixed I’ll stop playing it for awhile.

I really like this game. I don’t bother with the wand though. As for the ads, I understand the need for them but they are annoying. Most of the time easy to ignore. 🙂. However, I do not like the fact that extra words are lost for each puzzle...seems to be a money grab thing 😒
Very Disappointed in Changes
I’ve played this game for several years and enjoyed it, but I’m displeased with the replacement game. It’s so much harder. And to make things worse, they implemented the change on the last day of the month, so I wasn’t able to get the reward for the month unless I spent hours doing the new puzzles for every preceding day of the months. YOU SHOULD HAVE WAITED UNTIL THE 1st TO IMPLEMENT YOUR NEW CHANGE. Unfortunately, that can’t be undone now!!! I’ll probably delete the app!

Used to be 5 stars ....
..... until the latest update. I used to enjoy doing the daily challenge which involved just one puzzle. Now it’s 5 (I think) - much simpler, but when you complete one, you have to sit through an ad. A really LONG ad. I understand everyone wants to make money, but this is totally over the top. I don’t have time for this - such a shame, but you’ve got greedy and I’m going to delete this app if changes aren’t made very quickly to reduce these ads.
Game freezes
I really liked this game, but the screen freezes and I have to delete the app and I lose all my data !!!
New update
You changed the format. I don’t like it as well. The colors are too bright and the bubbles. What’s with the bubbles?
Word Town upgrade
If you choose to upgrade you will get a different game that is hard to read because of the bright colors & change in background I will be canceling my subscription & finding something new. Too bad you had to mess with a good thing.

Good game, but after I left, the next time it took me back to the beginning, if it does it again I am done.
Fun to disappointing
The new multi-part daily ‘crown’ game is annoying. The old version was much better. Also, I’m apparently psychic, as I’ve managed to choose the ‘30 coins’ box EVERY DAY for almost a week. Such a shame that what used to be a fun game is becoming so disappointing.

Started playing this game and it was fab. Not sure what level I was at but suddenly stopped loading. So I deleted it and reloaded the app but now it’s put me back to level one 🙄🙄.

Enough of the lengthy ads
Level 5201 and I’ve had it. Ads play repeatedly 30 seconds each iteration 3, 4 times before getting back to the game. The ads are LOUD and obnoxious. I wrote about this months ago and you did not respond. Please move the helpful icons placed at the bottom of the screen. I accidentally hit them while resting my hand therefore losing one. It’s really a bad place to put them.

Gameplay, advert, advert, advert, gameplay, advert, advert.............. More adverts than gameplay with this app. I tolerated the adverts to begin with as I was enjoying the game. But then it just get tiresome of watching the same advert over, and over, and over, and over, after every level or when you need to shuffle. It’s a pity as it has the potential to be a 4 or 5 star game. But finally got fed up of the adverts and deleted it.
