No way to reach game admin
The game is good but its hard to reach and administrators i made a purchase and couldnt cancel it and it didnt charge me right away and it held purchases up to 2 weeks before charging my card and charged me for 2 at a time so i was impossible to keep up with so i ended up paying for things i didnt need for longer then i needed them for. Its a good game but i would be careful spending money on the app.

I love this game because it keeps my brain active. It’s very important at my age to keep it going! my mama said if you don’t use it, you lose it!! so I use it!!

Game is broken
I found 28 ‘extra words’ on level 126 before finding the ‘correct’ ones. It’s more of a “what word am I thinking of” kind of game, very frustrating

Has non words
Was enjoying the game but then found it very slow going. Thought that it had some obscure words. I then googled a few and found some are not acceptable scrabble words. That took the fun out of it. It is really unsatisfying to use a hint or have a lucky guess and stare at the result and think, that’s not a word. That’s a sound, slang, proper name, or complete nonsense.
Yes broken BUT
Yes as the top comment says the game is broken. It has a great relaxing soundtrack BUT it often tries to play a second jangly honky tonk soundtrack on top of it. Very annoying when that second soundtrack shows up and both try to play at the same time. But I like the game. I think it’s the best of the ‘circle word searches’, frankly, with a deep word table. Though— it doesn’t have ‘aril’ ? Please fix tournaments. We can tell those ‘bot wins’ are not real when the real players drop suddenly after riding in first place up to the end of the tournament.

It would be nice to be able to turn off all the interminable animations. Can you add a setting please?
Poor Word Choices
This game was pretty enjoyable for about the first 150 levels and then got stupidly hard. For example, one level ignored perfectly normal words like “draw” and “ear” but included the words “rand” (a currency in South Africa), “wen” (a cyst on the skin), and “wared” (which the game couldn’t even find a definition for). I appreciate a challenge, but at that point I was just guessing letter combinations and it was no fun at all. I do not recommend unless you have a thorough knowledge of archaic and nonsense words.

So many of these games are exactly the same but this one is actually different. It is crossword style and I really enjoy it.

i’ve been an avid user for a while but this app has gone down the drain after the most recent update. it use to be a nice time waster but now it’s being deleted
Mixed review
Not seen many recent reviews for this game. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the leaderboard was working well in January, stopped recording scores mid February and not recording scores at all in March. It’s not my server, router as other players in my team are having the same problem. Also, jumping from one level to the next in the tournament section does not always give the prizes, even if you’re first ! I enjoy the game but frankly there many glitches that need fixing by the admin team.
Way to many add
I love the game itself, however after every puzzle and every time I open the app I have to sit through ads. You really need the option other games have of a one time purchase to remove ads.
Glitchy
Ads pop up often that you don’t get an option to decline. If you click on ad it asks for personal info and you can’t verify legitimacy. Takes awhile for it to clear out. Fun game otherwise.
They’re BAAACK!!! Where did the Bonus Pets go?
04/28/2025 UPDATE Software Update 1.294 I’m not sure where my pets escaped to, but they are home today!! Thank You Word Nut ❤️ *~~~~~~~~~~~~~* I play this game daily. Yesterday I had the paw print tab, pets & bowls. Now, food bowls and pets is gone from the screen. Software Update 1.292 04/16/2025 I’ll update when this is corrected.

Horrible Change
I have played this app for years. The recent changes made to the daily puzzle are horrible. Unless something changes I will be deleting the app. This is such a shame because I really enjoyed the previous version of the game.
Needs Improvement
I’d like to give 5 stars however there is a major flaw in the game. Every so often the bonus word is exactly the same as in the main puzzle but to complete it you have to use Hints, and these cost coins. Once completed it is then a 50/50 chance that the level still won’t complete and the only way forward is to delete the app and download it again. Clearly very frustrating. The developers say they are aware of the issue however a patch has not been forthcoming, they simply compensate those who complain with 1000 free coins. Apart from this issue the game is very addictive and I’ve certainly learnt a lot of new words. They just need to address the glitches.
Deceptive
This game frequently has misspelled words and words that are not real words. Very frustrating and needs to be fixed.
Far fetched words
Some puzzles are so simple and right now in a 700 level puzzle, I have 41 words not in the puzzle. Very frustrating since I know many of my missing spots will not even be real words. That’s not learning!
Doing a re-review
I posted a review a while back about how I got around level 650 and it could not be beat and that there was no more free time videos left. Well I was going to delete it and I decided i was going to keep trying to beat it and I did. Somewhere around the 650 level you’re going to have a few levels that are really hard to beat and you have very little time to do it. On top of that, you will not have any videos to watch to get free time added on …that being said If you keep working at it, you will get past those levels and your times go back up to having a minute and a half, etc. My advice is to save coins up to add time if needed since if you don’t use your free videos sparingly you will be out by that point . I’m almost to level 800 and I enjoy the game immensely , It’s one of my favorites. So hang in there and get past it!
flashing graphics
Stop with the flashing graphics while you're trying to solve a puzzle. Do you not know that triggers people with some conditions? Not to mention it's completely distracting. And stop with the non-word words. If you can't use it in scrabble, it shouldn't be here. Period.
Addictive but made up words
I like this game but some of the words, especially the extra words not in the crossword do not exist. I find this frustrating so took away one star.

Fun game
This is my favorite online game to play, and I especially like the daily challenges. I have to agree with another reviewer though, that sometimes the words in the regular puzzles seem to be made up to fit the spaces. Guess that just makes it more challenging. One thing that bugs me is this, what are the earned animal cards (Simon, etc.) good for? I’ve looked all over and can’t find any use for them; they just keep building up. And the nuts as well? There are many thousands of them but what’s the point of having them? We ought to be able to barter nuts for coins, or trade cards for coins, since coins are the only thing of value. Other than that, I enjoy playing it every day. Edit: 2 years later: still looking for an answer to what good are the cards and nuts? They just keep building up and are useless as far as I can tell. ?????

It would be a lot easier to get through the levels if they used actual words. You get stuck half the time because they make up their own words to use and your left guessing which ones they are.

I like this game so far, but cannot understand winning books you cannot read. Strange. Maybe completing the library will access them, I certainly hope so or what’s the point of them?

I love this game, just an enough of a challenge to keep the brain cells firing off. However - I’ve got to level 630 but when I click the green number “630” it opens the game screen one level 135 and it’s completely blank with no grid? Any help would be gratefully received as this is by far the best game I’ve got on my phone. Ta Phil

The game started off simple and seemed humanly possible. There were lot of ads unfortunately, so I bought a package to turn off ads. Now the thing slowing me down are the words that have zero meaning and are on the board simply to fill a spot, the post-level animations that you can’t skip through, and the casual use of outdated racial terms that auto-populated into the puzzle. What American 1960s word database are y’all even using? Get rid of it immediately. Will be deleting the game soon, it’s just not fun with all the guessing. I like a strategy word game, not a prejudiced and press your luck game.

Ads way too long
The game is great fun. But the frequency and length of ads are a huge annoyance. Not objecting to having ads but this is the worse game I have played regarding the length of ads and sometimes there are more than one together. Sooooooo time consuming. It discourages me from playing. Also have to spend 120 coins for one hint. That is way too many for the hard to get coins
