Good mystery, terrible characters
I love mysteries and I’ll probably keep playing this because of that but the characters are despicable. All but the main two girls. On top of that, it keeps freezing in the diner levels and the difficulty is wildly uneven from one level to the next. The gameplay is flawed in that it keeps you from getting combos by not putting the orders on top of the correct people, something that isn’t an issue on any other game from this company. And when you restart a level half the time the screen goes black and you have to turn your phone on and off or wait until it refreshes to play again
Glitched & kicked out
I love these game, I didn’t realize that this one is a few years already old (so maybe an update won’t come), but I paid to get rid of ads even still the game always seems to crash. I’m currently on the second day, on chapter 15 where I can’t add the tomato to the sand which and now I can’t continue. Just wanted to give that feedback.
Got to day 3, you have to pay for the rest of the game!

Good story line but so slow
It takes forever to get through anything. You can’t upgrade anything, do any bonuses, nothing. Ive been a gamehouse fan since day 1. This is my least favorite, doctors oath is my second. I like the old way that Gamehouse works.

Pretty good game!
I like the game, I think it’s pretty good. I’ve completed a few of Gamehouse's other games. It was a unique story and I finished it within 3 days. The only problem is, with Gamehouse, they always make you pay. For instance, in this game they make you watch ads every time you go to the next level, and to get out of watching the ads you have to pay.. honestly it's super annoying. If you want more stars, stop forcing people to pay. Other then that, I am a big fan of their games and I suggest playing one of them.
Too many ads
It is difficult to keep everyone straight and enjoy the game when each episode is divided by at least 2 ads, sometimes 3. Way too much. Feel like I MUST pay for the game. I will most likely delete it and stay away from Gamehouse games.
Won’t let me play with ads
I don’t mind watching the ads, but it’s stopped me on a level where the only option is to pay or when I click ‘play with ads’ it just takes me back to the main menu in a loop 😭 really fun game otherwise - if only I could play more!

Paid for the game, but now I’m stuck because I’ve reached the sawmill but the game won’t let me place the photos nor let me continue without doing so. So tired of this
Decent, tons of ads
Levels are fun, though a little on the short side. I like the addition of ‘side objectives’ for each level, that’s a nice change to the formula. Story is decent so far. An ad every level is overkill, especially when a 20 second cutscene counts as a level

Crashing issue
Love the game, I’m just super annoyed that when I go to start a new level the game crashes.... EVERY-SINGLE-TIME! Can anyone help me out with this or am I stuck with this annoying issue?? Thanks
Love the game, hate the glitches
*UPDATE* I am now on level 28 and have been all day long. Why? Because after you play the ad to play the game, you are immediately booted out. I have tried probably 50 times to play level 28. The same thing happens every, single time! I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have made sure I have plenty of extra memory, I make sure all background apps are closed, that my iPad is fully charged and that my fiber internet still says, “very fast”. I’m not sure what else I can do beyond this on my end. But, I guess I can go no further in this game. Pretty let down at this point. I just started playing this game for the first time yesterday. I love all Gamehouse games, Emily, Angela, Dr. Hart, Amber’s airlines, Sally, etc. I have never experienced any glitches in any Gamehouse games. Now, Delicious World, Delicious Bed & Breakfast and this game do nothing but throw glitches every time you play. They are all the same. It takes forever just to log in because you are constantly being booted out. The two Delicious games will kick you out at every episode. I finally gave up and uninstalled the bed & breakfast one. This game is pretty slow paced so it’s a nice game to relax to. Well it would be a nice game to relax to. Unfortunately, you are constantly watching ads that play just fine. When you are trying to play a level, it usually takes 3-5 tries just to get into it and 2-3 times of being booted out once you do! It’s incredibly frustrating and time consuming. I wish that this game had items you could upgrade. What’s the point of earning all of the coins if you can’t actually do anything with them? I know that I’m not the only one that has waited forever for a glitch free Emily, Angela or Sally’s games. These new formatted games would be great if they weren’t constantly glitching. Either way, make some new games too!
Fun but I hit a bug
I am on cafe level 14 and I cannot get the new hot chocolate drink to stay in my inventory. I do all of the steps go to bring them to the table and they purge themselves from my inventory before I can get to the tables. Up until level 14 this game has been pretty fun with a lot of adds but at least no ad interruption. You have to play an ad before you play any level or cutscene and it’s usually a long 30-60 sec before you can move onto the level. The levels are fun and diverse with different types of stores and things to manage during gameplay. It’s a more diverse version of Sally’s spa which I have had on my phone for the longest time and is one of my favorites.

I’m not watching an ad to play each level, thats quite absurd to me. Id be happy watching an ad once every 5-10 levels but absolutely not every level.

Could be great but...
This has the potential to be a really good game. But annoyingly it crashes all the time - mostly at the end of levels but also sometimes in the middle of them. Gameplay is also a bit laggy, doesn’t feel as smooth as the delicious games. Update - can’t get beyond level 19 it’s just crashing.

I really like how Jessica runs into Jenny which is her long lost twin which they didn’t know they where sisters then they have day drive to home which we don’t know where jenny was but all we know is she driving back from her so called Trip back to her Carlyle’s cafe which she brings another Carlyle’s which the person who looks like fraternal twins. Then Chip Evans makes here that no Carlyle’s get hurt but then he sees the cousin who secretly chase her too in her hostage this really fun excited I am excited to see what happened in primrose lake 4

Love the game but having to watch a 30 second ad before you can play one small level is asking too much.
I love it, but there is a small glitch in my game
I really enjoy all of the gamehouse games! I’ve played them all and I don’t mind the 30 second ads to play each level. I am, however, a completionist when it comes to games. I have to get every single achievement and buy every item in the game. It was impossible for me to get every achievement in this game because it did not register when I watched the second mystery cut scene. I tried replaying it several times both by clicking on the level in the map and from the menu where you an rewatch all of the cut scenes. Even though I know I completed everything in the game, I still feel bad that it is not reflected in the game achievements. I don’t know if this is a glitch in the game or in just my game but it definitely knocks off a star in my rating.

It very good. Little adds and so much mystery! You will be wondering what happens next through the journey all the time! The only bad thing is it felt like it ended so soon!

Well for me it is maybe it’s my phone but my friend has this game and it lags for her as well so I don’t really think it’s my phone. It’s the game. Downloaded but can’t play? What the glitch?
Downloaded, pressed play, takes me to the beginning with coffee cup icon to begin, begins to load, glitches, freezes and then closes game? Deleted game
Pleasantly surprised
I’ve played many cooking/puzzle games so initially I was expecting it to be more of the same but quickly learned this one is one of the better ones. The game lets you manage different shops, cooking is one of many. The reason I don’t give it 5 is that the “story” doesn’t give any value to the little games. Nonetheless, This was worth my time .
Rubbish end to game
If this game, which gets you interested then asks for £ 8.99 to continue playing, had a complete ending with the mystery solved I’d give it a four star rating. IT DOESN’T! It suddenly stops and you have no idea what the clues you’ve been following lead to. I hated that. I won’t be buying a sequel or any other of this companies games in case it is a thing of theirs to leave you hanging. Couple of glitches whilst playing and had to reopen game to play on. Story good but incomplete. Graphics are nice and colourful.

Not a “microtransactions required to win” game!
Unlike other time management games where you are given a certain number of “lives” and have to wait x amount of time for it to regenerate, this game operates on a per-ad basis. To play a level (in the free version) you have to watch one ad, which is very reasonable. You don’t even have to rewatch the ad if you replay/restart the level (unless you exit out of the level/app) and you don’t need to spend actual money to upgrade things to five star every level. It’s truly free to play (with ads) and you can finish the entire thing without having to pay a cent! The story was a bit strange, but held my interest no less and there were enough different levels/play areas where I never really got bored. Coming from Diner Dash/Cooking Dash (where I’ve yet to complete the entire game because I refuse to spend money on the premium in game currency (gold) to upgrade things), Primrose Lake is a very refreshing game in the era of “free to play but need micro transactions to advance/fully complete” games.
Playing part two & I see it’s IWIN & not gamehouse
I use to be the biggest fan of gamehouse games up until October. Had the absolute worst experience with them after I subscribed to their app🤦🏽♀️

I really like this storyline, I got really into it. It’s interesting and different and I loved it! Then, I got to level 13 and look what pops up! Blah blah blah get full access £8.99. I was really upset when I saw this because it seems that games that I actually enjoy I have to pay money for and it annoys me. I wish we didn’t have to pay, even if we had to pay, not that much. I understand that it took you a long time to make, but if your going to ask people to pay for it, show that it costs money before anyone downloads it because I bet that there are a lot of disappointed people that liked the game can’t pay for it (like me). I’ll be deleting the game because there’s nothing else I can really do on the game.
Okay but story could be better
I really liked this game at first but then the story didn’t make sense, and then there was no resolution at the end. Plus some errors in the script. I think some professional writing and editing would help all of these games be better. Thanks for the fun.
Incompatible ads
I enjoy the game but the onslaught of awful ads this week is horrific! Blood and gore, mean spirited, zombies, and immorality in every one of them! These are incompatible with the game that is being played! I'll come back later and hope this wave is over. I can't recommend these games to anyone when there are such awful ads.
After 60 levels
Was really enjoying the game done all 60 levels then paid £9.99 to play the rest but I can’t so I’ve paid for it for no reason!! Absolute waste of time & money!!! Don’t advertise saying we can play the full game when we can’t so annoyed!!!
THE GRAMMAR ARGH
I came here to say that I like the game. BUT ALSO who is in charge of the grammar bc it is B,A,D. And by that I mean sometimes the overuse of commas is so, bad, that I can’t, even read the sentence without trying a couple times. “Top, right, corner” NO 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
