Not working on MacBook
I have been using Noto on my phone and iPads for years and I got the MacBook Air 2025 and downloaded Noto as this is my main notes app but Noto will not open for dear life ever no matter what I do, delete the app, re-download, etc. what is the problem? And when it does open it crashes out. Can you please fix this.
PLEASE fix iphone widgets
I deleted this app a year ago because the widgets never showed a preview or even the name of my note. Although I like Noto so much more than apple notes, the widget much needed for me and how I use notes. Welp its been well over a year and I’m back, downloaded again to sadly see that the widgets STILL do not show the note preview like it says it should. Please fix this, this app would be literally perfect
Needs updating!
Need to be able to adjust fonts. Need the fonts to be larger.
No updates lately
looks like possibly orphanware
Simple and beautiful
Its so easy to take notes and make them have a nice format literally every detail is super simple absolutely love this
Hmm
Widgets don’t work for me on any of my devices
Excellent, But One Big Feature is Missing
Great app. Great features. Reliable. Syncs across devices seamlessly. BUT… Find and Replace (under the Edit menu) are disabled. This is a pretty necessary feature in any text app and one that I need in order to use this app. Can you please fix it? Pretty please!?!?!?
Crashes on my Mac a bunch
Even after reinstalling and clean ing up the data
Loved it at First….
I loved the app when I first downloaded it over a year ago. Compared to Apple’s Notes app, this was so amazing with all the extra options especially the folder views. I even purchased the yearly subscription. But there hasn’t been any additional real updates or new features added. I’ve tried to submit suggestions but the link is broken. I’ve tried emailing them and have never gotten a response. I would just love to have the option to adjust the spacing between lines (for example)- it’s really a simple feature request. But I’ve canceled my subscription and am heading back to the drawing board to hopefully find a better app. For anyone with simple needs, this would work just fine. For someone who needs more in depth note taking abilities; this isn’t for you.
Amazing note-taking app! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The interface is clean and minimalistic, with no distractions — exactly what you need to stay focused on your writing. I really appreciate how fast and smooth everything feels, and the attention to detail shows that the developers truly care about the user experience. I use it every day and it’s easily one of the best apps in its category. It would be perfect if you could add Russian language support 🙏 This would make the app much more accessible for a wider audience. Thank you for your great work! 🚀
Not working anymore
The app is kicking me out 3 seconds in. I keep clicking on it only for it to glitch and close itself.
great but keeps crashing
i have used the app all through my uni years and it is perfect, has everything I need that other apps just dont, its so simple yet so effective, but it crashes everynow and then which is very annoying and slightly unnerving as i need it for my final year uni work
PASSCODE RUINS IT
Weds 18 June 2025 2 points Dear Noto I have enjoyed using this app for years but passcode update has ruined it for me. I suffer from chronic pain in my hands so this extra effort prevents me from using it. Give us option of no passcode. Please. ⚙️⚙️ ⚙️⚙️ ⚙️⚙️ ⚙️⚙️ ⚙️⚙️ ⚙️⚙️ It now blocks me from writing anything seconds after opening it. Showing a pink do. I don’t want or need a passcode. Regards 🌷
Really good !!!! But we need updates
This app has the opportunity to be better than bear notes and craft. We just need updates; if these things could be added I think it would be the best app ever: - Wiki links[[ ]] for back linking and linking to other docs - Tags: must have for note taking - bigger file view Please please. I’ll pay a ton

Buggy
Just stops working
Very good!
This app is very good and functionally does what I need it to. I spent months looking for an app to replace my previous one that is no longer supported. This came the closest to doing what I need. It allows multiple folders and folders within folders, allows both video and photo uploads, allows manual organization and lets you put written notes within the folders (surprisingly some apps don’t allow notes or manual organization!) Like I said, functionally works great. Esthetically, it could use a slight upgrade. It looks almost sterile. The two biggest upgrades I’d like to see that would make it five stars is to allow inserting multiple photos at a time instead of only one by one and to have a number count for the photos. (Such as 1 of 20 etc). I use this to organize my collections using photos and it would be nice to know how many I have simply by clicking on one of the pictures. Edit: I’ve been using this app for two years and sadly there have been none of the updates I’d love to see. I add multiple pictures and it is soooo tedious to have to add them one at a time.
Great but
Subscribed for pro, attached a picture to a note now the app won’t open anymore
good app but no widget?
this app would be perfect if the widget actually worked. when u select a widget it appears as a blank box on your screen.
simple and effective
I depend on this app, more often than I thought.
Undo capabillty lacking
If you make a mistake moving folders around, you undo it. Also had trouble navigating folders. It wasn't intuitive
Needs sync/shared notes
Great app but until I can share/sync a recipe folder or grocery list with my wife I’ll need to use a 2nd app to fill the gap.
Nice but...
This app is great, but be aware that there does not seem to be anyone monitoring or updating. I have downloaded on both iPhone and Macbook and it works well individually, but attempts to sync have not worked and no one is responding.
Font size
I’ve noticed that the update included a change to the baseline font size from title, subtitle to the body font within the folders and note pages. This new, larger font size has significantly affected the visual organization of my notes, making them appear cluttered and disrupting the efficiency of my workflow.
Perfection
Can’t praise this app enough. Simple clean design, but very functional without being too complex like other apps that try to pack in way too much.
Crashes in Sequoia
Used to work. Re-downloaded and it crashes upon launch every time.
Duplicate Notes
Only wish i could duplicate notes easier!
Keep crashing and not response from anyone
App keeps crashing. I have already sent the log to customer support weeks ago but got no response. It's also annoying that I have to come write this review in hope of getting some attention. I have paid for premium but if this won't get sorted and customer support won't improve, I will look for another app.
Great, but …
I love this app; it does just what I need. The only reason it gets just three stars is it keeps crashing. I don’t think I’ve ever lost any data. But, you know, it just shouldn’t do this all the time. I keep using it though. Shows how much I like it I guess. Fix the crashes guys.
Wonderful app
Great app, completely switched from the Apple note app to this one. Much more organized and aesthetically pleasing. Also has a one time purchase option for relatively cheap instead of only subscription options. Worth the money for a much better note app in my opinion.
No help whatsoever
I want to migrate away from Evernote and this seemed like the closest app. But once I downloaded it onto my computer, I opened it and didn’t know what to do. The only thing I saw was a little icon in the corner that let me write a new note. But nothing looked like the pictures shown on this app. There was no “how to use” guide, no drop down menu that gave me options to make folders, nothing. There were links on the website under Support, but all the ones I clicked gave me an error page. This says it works on my Mac, but it really looks like it’ll only be usable on iOS devices like iPads and phones. I don’t want that. Completely pointless.
Good App
App is good but it has limited features. For example, sorting , flitering and grouping of the lists is not available
A few frustrating issues to a great looking note app
Been using Noto for about a month now and there are a few frustrations that I am experiencing: 1 - not being able to copy and paste an image from preview on a mac (need to save as, then upload an image onto Noto). 2 - when writing in a top cell of a long table, the screen automatically scrolls to the bottom of the page. 3 - embedding a doc as a icon to preview; would love to be able to view a document (PDF) in full size without havinv to open it up. 4 - being able to add a PDF as its own stand alone document. 5 - not being able to write anywhere. The look and feel of Noto price point is above any other note taking app that I have used and so hoping there is an update soon.
Photos
This app would get a 5 star review except for one thing. Adding photos should not be a pro feature. I understand developers need to make the free version worse to make money but photos are almost as important as the words. Some people can’t afford to upgrade even if it is cheap and the free version is such poor quality because of this.
PERFECTION
This app is so underrated! If I could give it 10/5 stars I would. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, super user friendly, no fluff, straight to the point, very easy to use. It is just perfect! Well done Devs!
Can’t even add a photo attachment without a subscription 😂
This is such a joke, the free notes app you get allows you to make folders within folders. And…add photos…for free!! Don’t waste your money, nothing this app provides a free one Dosent. The least you could do is add different backgrounds and fonts.
Great app but with a major flaw
I like this app, but I was amused to find that very simple and basic action - moving the cursor is hard. Have the developers actually tried using the app themselves?! You just can’t see where you are about to drag and drop cursor to… normally a small magnifying window pops up above your finger that lets you see where you are dropping the cursor to ….. in any other apps 🤯… but not here. So you just end up dropping the cursor in random places many times because you just can’t see. And this app is made for notes. Just saying .. So it’s clear to me that the developers are not actually using the app
Has potential but isn't useful yet
Kept closing unexpectedly, opening terminal, and was just too much hassle for something competing with several apps already functioning without hiccups.
Good app
Good app. It has a lot of functions and lots of potential. Unfortunately it has one major downside - no Apple Watch app!!!
The best
Truly has improved my life in so many ways. As someone in a creative profession this app is incredible and does so many simple little things that set it apart from other note taking apps. Just great.
Crash Error!!!
Used to love this app but now when I open specific folders it completely crashes out and cannot open unless I uninstall/reinstall. Please fix asap!!!!
There are still synchronization issues
There are still synchronization issues between devices. On MacBook I have a folder which is green and put a title on it saying FEBRUARY. Although the same folder shows on my iPhone, the folder is orange and it simply says New Folder ... The content is also in there but there are still issues...
Not great sadly
A little wonky , can’t sync between iPhone and MacBook Pro , I tried many different ways , I could connected but no luck so will be cancelling subscription, looks good tho so it’s a shame , but not very functional when you want not something on your Mac and than see it on your iPhone it’s doesn’t work. So it’s a no.
Still crashing
Would like to use this app but it’s crashed
Like It
This app works without any bug. Refreshing . Love it for keeping pages of notes which you can swiftly slide to choose a different page.
Keeps crashing
Noto will not open. I am working on a project I took many notes on Noto for and I cannot access my information. This is veru frustrating. Will not be using again; it has crashed and quit upon opening every time I have tried within the last week.
Difficult editing experience on mac
Despite this app has been excellent and probably one fo the best UI I've seen on iOS. Editing tool is basic on mac. It does not support force touch to show definition. The table editing is a pain. Does not let you drug and move collumes and rows. Have to the tap one by one.
Might as well just use Apple Notes...
While the app design is nice, you might as well just use Apple Notes, Feature wise, its almost the same. The Dev seems to just adding a bug fix here and there, but no new features, If you check the Feature Request site the dev hasn’t done much! Here’s what you’ll get, Widgets, a nicer designed app, that’s it, in comparison to other note apps on the store this is one of the most basic ones, I bought the lifetime license, But in the time I’ve been using it, nothings happened, apart from a widget. The 2 stars is just for design, I basically paid for a different UI, what a shame!
Needs More Support
I used to love this app, but now I can’t even use it as it just crashes every time I try to open it. Even after installing the latest stability fix, it still crashes. Really hope this gets fixed so I can use this otherwise wonderful app again. Edit: Never got an response to my email about the issue I had, though it has now been resolved, and it took a long time for it to be fixed. App is great, support needs to be better. Was 1 star, is now 3.
