CLI doesn’t work; upload doesn’t work from desktop; constantly a security threat
The newsletter feature didn’t work for me as described; the helper function doesn’t work; considering its safari extension is always asking for access to everything in addition to the fact that its terms and conditions expressly state that you have no right to any privacy in your information if such information would violate Chinese laws, I uninstalled and stopped using it despite having paid for a full year subscription
Good but room for improvement
The major issue with the ipad version is that like the iphone, the ai box that pops up is iphone-sized on the ipad, unlike the web version where, more usefully, it open from a right side panel, is a functionally useful size. The clipper via ipad share looked non-functional in some instances. While pdf’s opened in a browser website can be shared into cubox, pdf’s from another app cannot. When using a browser on ipad, can only sign in on safari, other ipad browsers won’t sign in with appleid. Otherwise, heading in a good direction and well worth trying.

seems to have a terrific use case but does not work on ios with file attachments; worse, app support provides zero… support
TTS for 5 Stars
The not-a-pocket replacement I didn’t know I needed. Local TTS functionality would put it clear of all others.

Not better than Raindrop.IO
AI addition is a cool feature over Raindrop.IO but misses out core features like multi-edit, search filters to just name some. Also, the app seems too slow (Used on iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Pro M2)
Doesn’t view or preview PDFs.
Since it can’t view uploaded PDFs, it’s essentially just a web page clipper and highlighter. There’s plenty of options for that already!

Could be great
Does not play well with X/twitter. Otherwise there is a lot to like here, but lack of Twitter compatibility is a deal breaker. You need to make the underlying browser engine spoof chrome. I love the nested tags, the tags suggestions. The snapshot feature is great, full text search works great.
Can’t changed language
I saw the app store say that cubox support two kind of languages,English & Simple chinese, but when I go down into language setting that inside of cubox, the button just drop me into the device setting about cubox, but there only have siri setting and background setting, plz fix it,thank you.
Very promising but currently limited
It’s very difficult to get a sense of the product due to the limitations placed on the number of annotations on an article… which seems to be a measly 3 at the moment. It makes the app unusable, which is a shame because it seems very promising. I understand the need to monetise, and I would probably be very happy to pay, but how can I get a sense of what it would be like to use if you limit a very fundamental functionality. Oh well.
Beautiful design and function
Love this app. I rarely rate apps. This app is allowing me to get organized in a way I didn't think I would. I'm able to find things that I want to review quickly and easily. Well worth the subscription.
App error
Paid for the AI pro but it’s not working.
Great Idea for an App -- Prevents Shutdown of Sonoma Beta 5
I love the idea of this app and have been using it on my iPad extensively. FYI it prevents system shutdown on Sonoma Beta 5 and also won't allow me to login under the same iPad account
Crashes often. Confusing UI.
Nice idea but feels half-baked at the moment. The app crashed twice in my ten minutes of use, forcing me to hard quit. An article I saved completely disappeared randomly. The UI is confusing because it goes against a few design conventions in use across iOS. I wanted to like this app, but it’s just not fit for purpose yet.
Love it, want to love it more (please add pdf capabilities)
Nested tags, memos are excellent features, UI is clean, appealing and practical. Unfortunately the lack of pdf handling really limits functionality for me. Adds unnecessary complication (and cost) to my workflow to set up a second tool & system just for saving/annotating/organizing pdfs when I’m largely capturing them from web like articles, and most capture/read it later apps can do both. I feel like I’ll have to go back to Readwise reader, Capture, or find another tool until/unless cubox can let me save pdfs from web. Though, I don’t like anything I’ve tried as much as cubox :)
Web version
I wish there was a web version too. Also a a family plan.
iPad Can’t Show Twitter Page
Always show This browser is no longer supported. Please switch to a supported browser to continue using twitter.com. You can see a list of supported browsers in our Help Center. Please fix it!
Needs translation option
Great features but the instructions are only in Chinese. Videos would be helpful so that I feel comfortable paying for the full features of the app.

very good
all the website info can go here ,one thing is if i already hightlight website,it can not show ,hope it can add this feature
I thought this would be promising but...
It's a shame that this looks like it would be really great. Until you see all this Chinese language. Just makes everything seem so sketchy. What a bummer!
Best ever
I don't know how to use a screenshot tool. Other than this, this is best ever APP I used so far (power user of Diigo before, but Cubox beats everything).

Worst app ever
The upload and process speed is super slow, and it’s hard to understand how to use the app… Totally wasted money and time
Could be interesting, but not ready for the U.S. market
Overall, I think this app has some great features and the subscription price is very reasonable for what it does. Built-in website parsing, the ability to upload files without having to attach them to documents, and many other things. However, it does not really lend itself to complex notes. There doesn't appear to be a way of editing full-page (only a little pop-up editing window) and no support for any kind of formatting, not even Markdown. It also cannot display the files that you upload to it. I uploaded a plain-text file, but it cannot be displayed in the app AND to view it I have to DOWNLOAD it first (even though it should be local, as I just imported it) and then open it externally. The bigger issue for me is that this is clearly aimed at the Asian market. The user manual and initial documents are all in CN (Chinese), even parts of the UI are in CN and cannot be changed. For instance, I uploaded a text file. When I select it, it provides some properties but they are in CN...I have no idea what it is telling me. It connects to WeChat and Weibo, but nothing used in the U.S. Also, the data clearly syncs somewhere - my text document was uploaded and not stored locally in the app, for example - but there is no mention of where or how my files are stored (are they encrypted? Who has the key?) The obvious answer is China, and that should be a show-stopper for most people in the U.S. There is NO expectation of privacy when you are syncing data to Chinese servers. Anything sent there is able to be read by the government. For me, that makes this a “no”. With better English support and a guarantee that my data was syncing to US or European servers, it could be a strong “maybe”
Doesn’t work in English!!
Why put this on an English App Store when it isn’t properly translated?
Awesome upgrade
I really appreciate the new features and upgrades in Cubox. I haven't upgraded to premium yet (I plan to), but even the free version offers so many helpful features: The article parsing is excellent, especially with the feature imagine preview The Random Pick widget is what I need to remind me of articles I bookmarked. I appreciate how easy it is to bookmark links using the Google and iOS extensions. I look forward to trying out the Email Newsletter and Voice-to-text features.
Bought Pro before international version came out and now account is gone.
Not able to access the subscription I paid for now.
Incoherent
This app looks promising from the screenshots, but upon launching it, you realize two big problems: 1. It requires a third party account, which apparently isn't using icloud. Boo! 2. It isn't even translated. The app is in Chinese. Oh well.
Looks great but I don't understand chinese
The desription and images all show English but when I downloaded the app the setup showed a series of overlays with chinese and within the app there are also chinese words and I don't know what they're saying. Perhaps make it clearer that the translation to English isn't complete in the English description.
