What people like
- Very simple and easy to use
- Saves time during stressful tax season
- Great for keeping physical receipts organized
- Free app that helps write off expenses
What they complain about
- Categories are too rigid and limited
- App crashes or loses data when saving
- Customer support ignores your messages completely
- You cannot export reports for taxes easily
Great app
I started using this for tracking my gas and will start using it for other business expenses. A great tool. Very user friendly. The new update is wonderful!!
Won’t reset my password?
Can’t get into account as the reset password function isn’t working
Great app with 1 Exception
App works great and have only had for a short time. My only suggestion would be more custom categories and would make it 5 stars.
One more feature
I’d like to be able to extract all files at once to send to accountant
I love this app
Good
Awesome APP
I have had this application on my phone for quite some time but I’m just now test driving it and it seems to be really awesome. Thank you..
Is this the 1980s?
If you’re old (like me) you remember the early days of computing. Writing line after line of code, only to lose everything because you forgot to hit the “save” key. Well, this program brings those memories back. Fill out all the information about a receipt, move to another page and you will lose everything if you didn’t hit “save”.
Search function
The app is works fine, hopefully over time it will be improved. One of the things that would be a great benefit is incorporating the notes in with the search function to make better use of the notes and also help finds things easier using key words within your notes. Also a sort / filter function so you can arrange your purchases by category or by receipt name or even by name of shop/store
Receipts expire!
It was good until a year later. Now it’s saying my receipts are going to expire soon.
Clean and neat UI
Just started using it. I like the simple and neat design. Using it for home receipts organization only. Would love to have OCR function and customizable categories. Would be happy to pay for the added functions.
Looking fora place to save your recipes? You found it!
Just what I need and exactly what I was looking for!
Can’t print and the app closed prematurely
I am working on taxes and the app is dialing me in a big way. I can’t print the receipts and when I edit a record and hit save, the app closes .
Title the Receipt
Could we have the app to add the title to image when we forward it on, that would save me doing it twice!
Not an option to customize folder names
The folders limit you from making your own category names.
Business
I like it…
Do not download
Can’t use without giving up your email address and password. Also, doesn’t support Hide My Email or password generation so it’s really difficult to enter details. If that’s the first user experience you get, I hate to see what the rest of the app is like.
Clutter free
I appreciate being able to take pictures of the receipts and this helps make my counter less cluttered. Though I’d like more category options or even to change the existing ones I don’t ever use.
Needs only customizable folders
This would be a 5 star app if it allowed you to create and name and color your own folders rather than having preset folders with only 3 custom options.
Good for saving receipts
Good app to save receipts
Scam
Baje la app y mi Apple ID fue tratada de usar. Trate de entrar en la app porque ya había escaneado unos recibos y me dice que mi email no es válido. O sea ya perdí todo lo que escanée? Exijo una explicación
Make a small change and get 5 stars!
Looks good so far, would be ideal to be able to rename the custom folders tho!
No Response from Team RECEIPT
I have sent 3 requests for info on my iPhone App vers. My iPadPro Real simple questions, but 3x and not one reply. Free or not…..shame on You You can’t be that busy,
This is so easy!
It should be a paid app; especially since we can write it off! The only thing that I would recommend is an automatic totaling feature. Otherwise, great job!
Terrible
All data lost. Numerous emails for help. No reply
Pretty good, I would pay for a few extra features
I run a business and would love an app like this for all my staff but the ability to edit all category names (not just the three custom) and ability to export a file by month with the receipts for irs would be ideal.
Not very functional
Not functional, no recognition or anything. It’s ok, but wish it did more.
Dr P. Nappo’s review of Keep Receipts
This free program is remarkable. it lows you to categorize your purchases and take photos of each receipt. I hope that the only improvement on my wish list will be fulfilled when the programmer(s) enable subtotaling of each category in use. Kind regards and thank you for a great app. Pat Nappo BA, DMD
Can’t upload all receipts/expenses for taxes
Exactly what I need BUT year end when you need the receipts for taxes theres no way the export the reports/expenses.
Great app!
This app is great - exactly what I was looking for! The only thing that would make it even better is the ability to customize all the categories rather than just the three provided. The categories don’t really apply to what I’m using it for, but I’m making it work. Otherwise, great app!
Pretty good for a free app
Someone has spent time to create this app, so appreciate it.
Why do I have to share my spending habits with you?
Is there an app I can scan and store receipts with, without having to send my personal spending history to someone I do not wish to share this information with?
Works great!
Would be a 5 star app if you could customize the category of receipt and if you didn’t have to put a warranty expiration date on every file. Other than those two issues the app works perfectly.
Good app
So far so good
Ehh
Gave one star because overall it IS what I was looking for-however-the quality of program is just poor. You’re NOT ABLE to change the names of the pre existing folders to organize your receipts-they ONLY give you THREE FOLDERS you’re able to name yourself-otherwise you have to somehow fit your receipts into the oddly named folders THEY named FOR you! Since we have very very specific needs and folder names I needed this app is useless to me unless I can create my OWN FOLDERS with I could find an app like this that does what I need it to. Their folders were of no use to me since I had barely anything that would’ve fit into their categories
Good app
Please add the option to save a receipt without adding dates, it won’t let me add a receipt if I don’t add dates of purchase and expiration, I don’t need the dates (gives message “all fields with * are required”)
Best receipt app ever!
This app is a lifesaver! Before this, I had millions of paper receipts stuffed into boxes and containers. When tax time rolled around it was so stressful digging up all those receipts to add up and track. Thank you! It’s easy to use this app and fits in anyone’s budget!
Categories
You can’t rename the categories except maybe 3 of them. The iphone app is a no frills and as good as this. Don’t bother with this app.
Almost perfect
First off it’s simple, free, absolutely easy. Would love love love to see: how - ability to rename preset folder - delete folders or add an unlimited amount - a way to rearrange folder order - a line item to add total amount and view from main screen - addition to sort all items by date or name That is NOT why I gave 4 stars. These are just preferable. I knocked off a star due to the forced warranty line. It is a great line item as an option. Maybe have it at the bottom as a slide button if there is and ability to insert end date however I found it not needed for most and only optional. FANTASTIC job! Thanks for creating. Definitely will look for more from this developer
