Goals
I'm thrilled to have discovered this app. It's easy to navigate and it gives me the tools so I can keep track of my progress
Scam
They keep taking money out of my account stealing from me
Just getting started
Definitely keeps you moving. Changes the movement every 30-45 seconds which keeps it interesting. Wish I could lower the volume of the music but keep the voice to follow along with. I’ll keep with it and see what happens👍🏻
Starting workouts.
Love the easy steps and arm movements.
Beware cancellation problems and it isn’t worth nearly £39 a month after the first cheap month
So easy to get the app. But so difficult to cancel subscription. Impossible to access my profile and account details in the app, it just closes, so this is an impossible route to use to cancel subscription. Refuses to accept my log in details so this is another impossible route to cancel. Had to go to the website and ask for help and ask a robot to cancel my subscription. Honestly not sure it did but I kept a screenshot of it telling me it had cancelled. Why did I cancel? Because I only wanted to try it out for a few weeks and the initial cost of £15 was worth the trial. Is it worth nearly £39 a month after that? No. Good things are the fact that they have a very smiling large lady doing the exercises along side the thin serious lady. I was expecting her to get AI generated thinner each day, but she doesn’t so that was reassuringly real. Bad things are the fact that it’s difficult to see the full movement and body positions of the exercise because the camera angle keeps shifting and panning to feet so you can’t see what the hands are doing. They don’t show you each move carefully enough for you to get it right so you spend too much of the routine doing it wrong. Which isn’t helpful in getting you fitter or more flexible. This is especially unhelpful in the t’ai chi routine where the male teacher does not explain clearly what he is doing with each bit of the body and you can’t see clearly because of camera shifts. So you spend 10 minutes wiggling around with your hands and feet flapping about. Not very t’ai chi or good for you.
Work out 1
I can really feel it in my arms and upper body.
Scam
This did not show in my list of subscriptions. I check them to make sure I don’t get charged. I was charged$38.95 that I can’t afford. I will be reporting this app.
Early Days yet, but Enjoyable
I’m only just starting out and so have not really seen any concrete results as yet. I am enjoying the tai chi though.
Never able to login
The app never worked for me. I saw the ad on Instagram. I joined via Instagram link but when it said to download the app, there was a disconnect there so I just gave up. I don’t have time Waste so I just gave up and it was very easy to cancel. I must say. I gave two stars since it was easy to cancel but not get the refund, but I don’t think it was very much. It was only like a dollar so they can keep my dollar the Instagram links never seem to work right
Refund
Very helpful with giving me a refund
Helpful app
I needed to gamify my workouts to get back in the habit. WalkFit was exactly what I needed. Loved the variety of workouts available to keep my streak alive when walking wasn’t an option. When I had a tech issue, the support team was very helpful. Would recommend.
Hidden Charges
Expensive- I had no idea!!!! Over use of notifications daily (like 15) and no way to request a conversation about reversing the charges when I was surprised with an $83 charge.
KeepHealthy
Good workout that is not strenuous on the body. It’s a good feel workouts
Needs clearer instructions
I like the exercise program is short and able to be done at home with no equipment required. However, there are not clear instructions for the individual exercises and by the time I’ve worked out what I am supposed to be doing it has moved on to the next exercise. I signed up for a month subscription and won’t renew which is a shame.
Great app but not perfect
Love the app in general, save more money than paying for a gym membership. That said, indoor workouts double the steps so your daily steps are not factually correct against the Apple Health daily steps for the day. I did all the updates and suggestions with no luck. I then reached out to support but never got resolved - still has same issue. Just an fyi
Work out
Love it
Fraudulent
Luckily my bank caught there $90 fraud attempt, had to get new card, and this Tai Chi is a joke, just normal walk at home workout you can get free online but wearing different clothes, and they look like they are uncomfortable wearing it too lol. It’s a joke of an app, waste of money, and tries to scam you.
Seems ok so far
I'm only 2 days in but it gives me an achievable goal. Just looking forward to results then I can give a good review
Take Care
This is a subscription app that has a high monthly fee for Aussie users! Beware
Bad ankle
I hurt my ankle and they generously returned my payment.
Easy exercise but I feel it working!
Just on week 2 but it’s great!
Very unsatisfactory
I canceled this app and was charged 39.99 again and they will not refund my money. BEWARE!
Feel Good
Overall I like it , but sometimes the video do not show up or come an and them it says my workout is complete. It’s frustrating because I want to stick with it I feel good when I do the work out
Nothing special, auto renewal with regular price
I am not that impressed with the content of this app. They charged me automatically as it was on default with my initial purchase on discount without making it clear. They did not refund me. Just extended my membership to 1 year.
The view
Is nice to see everyone can make it and get goals but I would like to see more the open escenario to see the way how to perform the exercises in the right way thanks
Harry Pedram
Great so far. Need to change? From beginner to intermediate maybe
No notice of subscription renewal
Subscription renewed with no notice at extortionate full price - very poor service requested a refund as definitely not worth the money
WalkFit
Ok!
Deceptive - Don’t Do It
I was absolutely loving this app. I paid $21 for the first month trial and was looking forward to renewing the subscription. Without warning or communication $70.49 was taken from my account when the first month subscription expired. This is for a one month subscription! I will be cancelling my subscription which is disappointing as I was truly enjoying it and looking forward to continuing but an extra $50 per month is an unacceptable amount for an app that gives no support and doesn’t allow you to download whichever workout you choose. Extremely Disappointed.
Beware the subscription in the app
Normally the subscription is shown in Apple account subscriptions, but it's not. I don't realise that I have subscribed but it claimed that the refund has been initiated.
So far so great
I have been using WalkFit for two days. Little funny they’ve already asked me for a review. So far, the exercises are manageable, short, and very doable for a beginner.
No control
The app doesn’t let me set goals and doesn’t allow for flexibility. It changes the daily steps goal for no reason. It gives you two options but only shows the first few words with . . . so I don’t know what the choices are. The daily motivations are not motivational, just bossy, rude, and sometimes insulting. I will not continue this subscription and will be deleting the app.
Achievable daily goals
I have only been doing this for about 12 days but managed to meet the goals every day. I have tried some of the extra workouts too.
Idee gut, Umsetzung schlecht
Grundsätzlich finde ich die Idee gut und motivierend. Was mir gefällt ist die Gliederung warm up, workout, cool downd.
Still overweight
I really like the app. The pace. My mobility has improved. My back pain is less but still Present. I’m going to continue but after 30 days I haven’t lost a pound. I’m in meno so I will continue because I like what I’ve gotten so far. Just wish I could lose at least 10-20 lbs of belly. I have started the lymph work outs just a few days in now. Overall I feel better but no weight loss.
Good
Good
Don’t buy
Not worth the cost, a lot better app’s free. The workouts are poor and not properly explained. Can’t emphasise enough this is a waste of money.
So far so good
Feeling it: stiff body & joints. Like a dead body waking up from a fitful hibernation. 😂😂
Fehlende Schnittstelle
Mir persönlich fehlt die direkte Schnittstelle zur Scanwatch von Withings, ohne über Apple und Co zu gehen. So ist die App leider relativ wertlos für mich.
Kept me active but not much weight loss
This app came up on my Facebook feed and I was looking to lose weight. When I filled everything out, it told me I could reach my goal weight by the end of August. However I’m now almost a month in and so far have only lost one of the ten kilos I wanted to lose. I have reached the target steps every day and have only missed one workout. I will keep doing the walking and workouts until the end of the three months I have paid for, but will probably cancel then. I enjoy the workouts as it gives me a target but they can be repetitive.
Worth it!
While I did not lose weight at the pace I was expecting, I still lost 5 pounds during the 28 day challenge and the 7 mins workout made the difference.
Charged after canceling
I was charged after I canceled within the trial period. I’ve only been able to connect with a chatbot and it is completely useless. I saved a screenshot of my canceled account and after being denied a refund - the subscription is missing??? Not worth $40. I would give less than one star if I could.
First day
It was pretty good I couldn’t see the last demonstration, but I did like it so far 😁
Overall very good, recently frequent crashes
I had been quite happy with this up for the past six years. Recently, however, the app has been crashing in the middle of walks and showing old routes. Despite chat and support team assistance, the problem has not been resolved . For the price of the app, this is unacceptable and I suppose it’s time to unsubscribe and find another suitable app.
Not for Oura users.
It seems to be decent enough, I’ve tried a few of the workouts, & the step goal is for sure a motivator to move more. My issue is that it doesn’t connect to my Oura ring (FitBit or Apple Health only?) so my data was inaccurate. I cancelled after only one day, but I’d much rather get a complete review of my activity level. 🤷🏻♀️
Tam
Love this app, let’s see after a couple weeks if I can notice a difference. But so far it’s a good wake up workout
Please don’t pay!
This isn’t a personalised programme despite all the upfront questions. It’s a reminder to go for a walk every day and a library of exercises to choose from. I got my money back.
Keep fit
This is my second day and although I havnt quite got it right. Because of the arthritis in my right knee. But I hope to improve and feel good after workout. Not sure how many steps I do but I’m going to get a step o metre. I feel relaxed now and ready for the day. Nice to have your support and hopefully my partner who is overweight will do it with me.
Glitchy
This app is really glitchy. Every time I open the app it takes me through the new install sequence with multiple screens introducing me to the app. Every time I open it. I offloaded data, logged out, uninstalled it. Nothing worked. I also have a five day streak but it’s saying I only have 2. Just super glitchy. Bummer
Early days
I wanted a clear plan to follow online while I was away and missing weights class. Followed most days, moved to Lymphatic drainage out of curiosity and because my arthritic knees found some of the standard walk a bit uncomfortable.
