Love this!
I’ve had this app for a couple of years now and I have absolutely no complaints! However, the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed if there is a daily pattern available either in the mornings or in the afternoons, I will click it, and it sends me right back to the main menu. It’s almost like certain puzzles aren’t letting me actually do them. 🧐

Duplicates
It’s a fun and relaxing game. Buy I have noticed one issue that has yet to be fixed, there are duplicate patterns showing up. One day they won’t be there, then the next day they’ll be there in my downloaded section.
Was really hoping to like this but…
So I downloaded it and started playing and then I noticed that there were no way to lower the toolbar so I could see the entire puzzle. Deleted after that.
Pretty But Frustrating
The patterns are pretty, and I enjoy the concept, but it seems like, because it’s a repeating pattern, there are instances when a piece does match a pattern section, but is rejected because eventually that piece won’t fit there puzzle-wise. But in the order the pieces are given, there’s no clear reason why the piece wouldn’t fit. It doesn’t make it unplayable, but it’s been consistently annoying.
Bottons don’t work
I can’t play the game because the bottons don’t work please bring a new update for this bug please 🙏
Disappointing
This was a beautiful, seamlessly peaceful game that I really began to enjoy right up until the 8.0 update. Now it will no longer open and I have not had access to it since that update. A very big disappointment and days wasted in a two month free Apple Arcade trial.
Buggy but fun
I really enjoy playing this game. It is relaxing and helps me unwind before bed or when I am feeling stressed. I’ve been playing for years. Unfortunately, there are several instances when the puzzles will crash or close out and I can’t complete a section. Right now, I’m having particular difficulty getting any of the Morning 12am-12pm puzzles to open so I can play them. I really like that I could go back and play a puzzle anytime, but with these it won’t let me. I know BoarderLeap goes in and fixes bugs all the time to improve gameplay, so I’m sure eventually an update will get pushed out (like they have for buggy parts before), but that’s why it’s 4 stars not 5. It’s a little frustrating to want to play some of the puzzles when you can’t even open them.
Slow to load
The game is beautiful but it takes so long to load one puzzle. Also, the UI is difficult to navigate. Overall, needs significant improvements.
A lot of glitches
Nice game, but has a lot of bugs for me. The programme gets stuck a lot, and you end up staring at a black screen when loading a new puzzle.
Love this app however….
I have played this for years, love it. But, it is now almost impossible to enjoy. Don’t know if it is my iPad or the app. I open a picture and the pieces will not move or be able to placed. Don’t know why, I deleted the app and reloaded it but still isn’t working. I hope that you can fix this😢 Update: My problem was solved !!!! I absolutely love this application. It is so relaxing and the pictures are wonderful.
Glitchy
App seems to freeze up and releases pieces at random. The pattern is frustrating to locate with such a faded background. I enjoy puzzles but this is not fun at all.
Wonderful and relaxing, but I’m worried that puzzle quality is slipping.
Love the updated menus. Things generally feel much more reliable, which is great. However, I’m noticing that more and more of the puzzles aren’t wrapping around. I worry that this is a sign of cutting corners with cheaper art.
Disappointed
I pay monthly for this game and it hasn’t worked right for over a week. I contacted support, they got back to me but no follow up and still no update to fix. I love this game and I’m disappointed with the support!!

Absolutely hate the new update. The layout is not inviting. It was better when you could see the thumbnails.
Love the Daily Puzzles
I enjoy doing the daily puzzles. However, I have fallen a couple of days behind and I am not able to load the previous days, even though they still show as available. Is there a fix for this issue?

I love this puzzle game and play everyday and one of the best things about it was there were harder puzzles to play and easier ones so there was something for everyone. The last update though I noticed that there were not as many hard puzzles to choose from; very disappointing. This latest update is very disappointing as well. We are locked into boxes of your choices of puzzles, many of which we as players have already played. I much preferred the more open concept of choosing which puzzles I would prefer to play, not puzzles you choose for me. Also bring back the more challenging puzzles please. Thank you for reading.
Bug
I love the game, I played for the longest time, but in the last couple of days it doesn’t let me play the collections anymore. I really like the market one that is on now but if I try to open the collection it just shows me a black screen and no patterns. And that’s for every single collection. Please fix this because I want to play the market one so bad
Very slow to load
Really slow to load for the past week or so.
I love this game!
This game is really nice. After a stressful day of work it’s nice to sit down and do an easy puzzle. I also love the music and designs! I love all the options and the calmness of this game! Do recommend.
Broke it
The latest update broke the game. Many puzzles load forever, locking the game, and choosing some puzzles show one that I already completed but the pieces keep changing? Putting this one down until the next update at least.

Why the overlay?
The last major update took this game down from perfect for me - I’m not a fan of the overlay of an already completed puzzle on a new one. I understand what they were trying to do, but I wish it had a toggle so I can avoid it. Probably won’t pick this back up until that’s addressed 😕

Bit of an issue
The perfect puzzle game to relax, challenge and feel a sense of achievement. (I have tried 8 times to load, it goes into the main screen and snaps shuts down. Any way I can reconnect? I have it in the Arcade games.) Keep doing what you so love doing and thank you for it x PS I’ve got in 😊. I bought a new iPad. Wonderful to be able to play again. Can you add messages when the version is no longer supported?

Lastest update ruined game
I love Patterened but the latest update ruined the game. Contrary to the assertion (Jan 2026) that load times are now faster, the are even slower. The Featured Collections emptied out and old Collections, also empty, attached to the banner. The Day and Night patterns are not refreshing. Please fix!
Love the game but not the app
The game would be a lot better if the loading was more consistent. I am constantly having to reload the game to get it to load initially or in between puzzles.

Was good until it wasn’t
When I first downloaded this game a couple weeks ago it was great, no issues. Now over the last week or so the puzzles won’t load or load with another puzzle over top of it. It is basically unplayable now.

Very cute and calming. Love the focus on women only artists! Small issue where puzzles I haven’t downloaded appear in the downloaded section and clog it up.
Constantly failing to load
The recent update has very poor navigation and often freezes upon loading. why do I keep paying for Apple apps that don’t work?

*New update* I have a 1000+ day streak with this game so I am obviously a fan. BUT, with this latest update the “Featured Collections” won’t load, and the download times are slow or won’t work at all. It’s pretty frustrating because I really love this game. Please fix it!! I’ve been playing this game every night for over a year, it’s so soothing and I love it. I have a complaint with the latest update though! The new way of organizing the puzzles is not user friendly. I liked being able to pick the category I was in the mood for, not having to scroll through tons of puzzles. Please bring that option back!

3/29 update. Back to full functionality. Thank you! Late March, ‘26 updated review: After the last fix, the puzzles were loading flawlessly. No more. Now only the daily puzzles load. That’s it. Over time this has been a great game, but now maybe they are trying to keep too many plates in the air at once, with the inevitable result. Disappointed. Again. For the last couple of weeks the puzzles do not load. I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times but still no luck. The app opens up and looks ready to select a puzzle, but does not respond. Same issue on both my phone and iPad. About ready to give up. EDITED AFTER DEVELOPER RESPONSE: Appreciate the developer’s response, but still prefer the pre-updated version. The current version claims to have “fixed” things that in my opinion weren’t broken. DO NOT LIKE NEWEST UPDATE. This game has been a 5-star since its introduction. But this week’s update seems like change for change’s sake. It does nothing to improve game play and in fact it makes it harder to manage progress. I’m sorry somebody decided to “fix” something that wasn’t broken.
Its just not working
Opening the app, the design is very smooshed together and none of the buttons work. Idk just not working.
Puzzles don't load since last update
I'm very fond of this game, and have been enjoying it for years. But there are serious glitches since the last update. Some previews don't load. I haven't been able to get any puzzles to load for the past few days. Hope you can fix soon so I can go back to enjoying this game. Thank you
Keeps getting worse
I've been playing daily for nearly 2 years. There have been a few updates and with each onethe functionality gets worse. Though the most recent update has a lovely GUI, it loads so slowly now. It's almost frustrating enough to remove it. I'm hoping another update is on the horizon that will reduce its currently nearly brick-like playability.

Love the app but right now I’m having some technical problems with the puzzles loading properly. I tap on them to open & all I see is a white screen showing the puzzle is loading but nothing shows up after a few minutes. It doesn’t load like it normally does. I already tried uninstalling & reinstalling it on both devices that I have the app on. I would hate to have to delete the app if I can’t access it anymore. Thanks
Sad descent into AI garbage
I’ve played this game every day for years. Recent changes have been disappointing. Aside from the decline in how things load, or more importantly, don’t load until I crash and restart the game, the much worse issue is the clear use of AI to generate puzzles. One of the main reasons I’ve loved this game for years has been the use of real art created by real people. Now I increasingly see things that are clearly AI generated. I’m just not interested in solving puzzles that were created this way. Between the AI art and the increased “limited time only” puzzles that turned this relaxing game into an obligation… I’m playing fewer and fewer games. I’ll be sad to miss my first day in years, but that day is coming, and I doubt I’ll be back.
Bug
I love the peaceful game everything is nice There’s just a bug when you complete a daily puzzle but the check mark doesn’t pop up under the completed puzzle like the rest This makes it to where you can’t do the bonus puzzle because it hasn’t recognized that the weekly puzzles has all been completed I hope yall can fix that small bug, it happens every so often and is annoying and disappointing
Why is it so slow?
Everything is so slow. Every time I looked at the calendar it loads all the images, I assume, from the Internet meaning it's stupidly slow. Add then clicking through to a day takes ages too. Has it always been this slow or is something broken? Why can't it cache the images?
Please fix the issue
The game has been stuck for over a day. The puzzles won’t load and the ones that do, you can’t click on. I have a 864 day streak and don’t want to lose that. Please fix this!

When loading daily puzzles, the bonus puzzles aren’t downloading, to include past bonus puzzles. Everything else is wonderful!

Loving this but one of the puzzles won’t open so I cannot complete the USA Central States 😞 or continue with the rest of the puzzles
Continual bugs
Update 1/1/26… Now the games take forever to load. The icons spin and spin and spin. Not my network or internet issue. This is a game issue. After 3 or 4 attempts over 30 or more minutes, the puzzles finally load. Very frustrating. Every time there’s a new release, it may fix one but, it creates another. For about 3 to 6 months now the music selection does not work no matter what you select. It plays both types, ambient and piano over each other. It’s very annoying. Now during the month there is always one puzzle that will not load. this time, it is the August 1st puzzle. If I recall, it seems to be something with Fridays. Anyway, I love this game, but I’d like the music fixed. I’d like to be able to access the puzzles when as I should, and as I’ve seen other people comment, sometimes the puzzles are so light. You can’t see where to put a piece. If you could fix these minor, but annoying things, this game would be perfect.
