Terrible app
I paid the subscription and my watch did not give me the yardage unless I subscribe again ( although my subscription ends in November of 2026!) I called the company and I was told by automation have a nice day!
lifetime purchase
Would be nice with a lifetime pay once purchase then I would buy it. I’m looking for a golf gps app for the watch and this is the closest thing. Maybe also pair with an optional small yearly fee to update courses if desired
New update doesn’t work
This was the best Apple Watch Golf App, now this recent updates ruined it with it freezing or not loading at all on Apple Watch Series 3. If it worked it’d be 5 stars

Very Disappointed
I purchased the TH Calibre E5 due to reputation of the brand and the golf functionality. My initial impression is not very good. Played two rounds this weekend. The watch interface is not comparable to the Grint on Apple Watch. Additionally my home course changed the hole routing more than 5 years ago and the course map has not been updated. Doesn’t give me the impression that the application is not being well maintained. No integration with USGA GHIN. In addition, there doesn’t appear to be a support page on the website. Click on the app support and it takes me to a page doesn’t exist, It is a quality timepiece but probably going to return it.
Enjoying the App
I was looking for an app to assist my rounds of golf, provide shot distance and also then show graphic detail and this delivers exceptionally well. One gripe I have is that I often complete the round on the watch but then my Apple phone app has a part finished round. I then spend ages trying to sync to then end up filling in the gaps and completing the round on the Phone. Made the mistake of deleting the part finished round on the phone once thinking it would force a new Apple Watch transfer…it didn’t and I lost all of the date.
Entering my score on my Apple Watch is not working
Was a great app but now the option to score on my watch is not working. There is no place to enter your score on the face and when I manually advance to the next hole it records my score as a hole in one! Even Kim Jong Un doesn’t claim to score 18 for a full round.
Distances were inaccurate
I tried the Tag app during the 7 day free trial. Just got an Ultra 3 iwatch. Consistently the app was 5-10 yards different than my range finder Also 2 buds I played with each had golf apps including 18 birdies and Golf shot We tested them all against the range finder and Tag was the laggard, 18 birdies not much better but Golf Shot was nearly spot on. Going to try Golf Shot next. Don’t they each use the same satellites? Must come down to coding. I have a Garmin Fenix 6 watch that has golf courses built in and found it to be more accurate than Tag that charges $50 per year. Eventually AI will lower these egregious prices Hmmm….
Feature not working
10/14/25 Arrow in right corner no longer takes me to list of holes. Could be new iOS 26 as it just started with upgrade. Or could be bug?? Please advise. Thanks JS

After the so called updates the score pusher is now gone from the screen on my Apple watch. It use ti be nice and easy to keep score, now its a pain.
Nearly great
The app is really great on most fronts (though the option to get help from support seems to be broken right now!) Being able to do everything from the watch and not be on the phone all the time is so helpful. Two things that would really help - 1) I think the app is supposed to estimate a handicap but this doesn’t appear to work in practice (20 rounds later nothing it still doesn’t show a handicap), 2) the app recommends your clubs’ yardages seemingly based on average of all shots but all clubs come out low because that includes mis-hits, punch shots, half swings etc… Really happy with 90% of what the app does but it could be even better!
Bad watch update
Recent update to watch requires recording one shot at a time, whereas before I could put the score in after finishing the hole! Now it feels like the app is getting in the way and required me to use both the phone and watch app at the same time, essentially making my previously favorite golf watch app useless... Please please add numeric hole scoring back to the watch app
Apple Watch
Not allowing me to scroll to next hole. New Ultra Apple Watch.
Feature not working
When I start a round on Apple Watch Ultra 2, the arrow button in the top right doesn’t let me click it to scroll through the list of holes and choose a different hole. This just started happening in the past month or so. Not sure if it is app related or related to iOS 26.
Cannot enter score with new update
Seems to be a bug with the new software version. Can no longer manually enter score on Apple Watch, only allows automatic shot tracking. Please fix, app was working great before recent software update.
Longtime user—two key issues
I’ve used this app for years and the latest update broke a core workflow: you can’t jump to a specific hole with the arrow anymore. Also, please make the default score on every hole PAR & 2 putts—starting from 0 makes no sense. Fix these and it’s back to 5
Misleading app after all these years.
I have been subscribing to this golf app since before it was Tag. Always used my Apple Watch to find distances. Now for some reason I need to buy premium to get distances on my watch. Very disappointed and misleading after using this app for all these years.
I’ve Moved On
This has been my go-to app since it was Fun Golf. It still has the best graphics of any golf app on the market. And it does NOT drain my Apple Watch battery unnecessarily. My complaint is two-fold. These last few rounds, the watch seems to get stuck on a random hole and won’t advance automatically even though I’ve added the score and moved along in the round. It’s frustrating. Additionally, the other apps now have the ability to read the greens which is very helpful and shaves some strokes per round. These issues have unfortunately forced me to move on.
Best in class, but Apple Watch subscription is unreasonably priced
I’ve tried just about every golf GPS/scorecard app in the App Store, including the ones that appear to be more popular, and in my opinion this one is by far the best. It’s very accurate and quick to update location. It has all the basic features that any other major competitor has, including a few capabilities that the others don’t have, that give you more control over what information you want out of it. And it’s extremely intuitive & easy to use. Now all that said, the reason I am constantly on the lookout for something better is because there’s no way I would pay what they are asking for Apple Watch integration. With most of the major competitors out there providing at least a basic distances feature for Apple Watch for free, it’s pretty baffling why anyone would pay such a steep price. I think I might be willing to pay $80 or $85 for a lifetime subscription, but nothing even close to the price tag they’ve put on the annual or monthly rates.
Rounds Deleted
I’ve used this app for use going back to bender Tag Heuer bought it, and it has always been my favorite. That said, I lost two years of scorecard history after the last update, and it is no longer tracking my handicap.
Not updated course
Got the TAG golf connect watch for birthday present tried to use at home golf course and found the layout was wrong on some of the holes so got in touch with TAG through the app. They got back in touch saying they would sort it out within 14 working days. After the 14days still not uploaded course load of rubbish
Cannot report a course change as the site won’t submit
Hi, Would rate this a lot higher, however whenever I attempt to submit your form for a course change report the site errors out stating “There was an error” “Your report cannot be submitted at this time, please try again later” I’ve tried a day later and the same effect.
APPLE WATCH SCORING WITH LATEST UPDATE
Love this app and have used it for several years, however with the latest update I can no longer figure out how to add my score from my Apple Watch. This is a deal breaker for me …. Please help me figure this out!!!
Best Golf App By Far!!
I have used most golf apps. This is by far the best I have come across. I primarily use the watch app and love it. I dont know why others have scored it this low, for me it is a 5 out of 5.
WOW!!!
This app is the absolute best. Shows distances to front, back and middle of green, as well as hazards. Very intuitive, simple to use. Great score tracking as well. I would give ten stars if available. Update 2024. Not sure what has happened to this fantastic app. I am now unable to get any response when trying to look up a course I’m going to play. Didn’t realize how dependent I have become on this once amazing app.

Hole tracking is hopelessly broken
Sometimes my Apple Watch app just thinks I'm playing the same hole even when I've clearly moved off that hole. By several 100 yards. The worst part is when I manually correct it, as soon as the screen goes dark it switches back to the wrong hole again. Guys, if the user goes to the trouble to FIX the hole, maybe you should figure that's right. Also... I would like a "no score" option. Seriously, I will never... NEVER use your app for scoring. I only want yardages. Not club recommendations, just yardages. Not shot tracking... just yardages. (Although the Tee shot tracking is great and works well!)

Best Golf GOS app
I have used this app for my Apple Watch Ultra vs Garmin S62 and this app beats it hands down. This app last a lot longer in play vs the S62. I can play 2x 18 hole round with 30% left with my Apple Watch Ultra
The app is crashing
When you look at your rounds, the app crashes.
Change the way to enter score back to the pencil!
I love this app. I have been using it for years. There was a recent change on how to enter the score on the Apple Watch. You now have to swipe. It used to be tapping on a pencil icon. I hate the swipe. When I play golf, my hands get sweaty and swiping is difficult. Please put the pencil icon back!!! I would change to a 5 star rating if you revert back!
No Apple Watch support for free version?
Tried to contact support first and it wouldn't let me submit due to a ReCAPTCHA issue. So is there no Apple Watch support without paying? Every time I clicked on the watch it wanted me to subscribe. Am I missing something?
Fix please
Was awesome. New version is not user friendly. Can’t move red ball marker on watch. Can’t pull up green view. PLEASE bring it back!! FIX FIX FIX
Love this app!
I love this app, the more I use the app the more features I discover. it syncs up with my Apple Watch. It shows the location of all my past drives on a the hole I am playing. keeps track of greens and regulation. Putts per hole. keeps track of distance of each individual shots. at this time, I am fairly new to the app and I believe I am missing a lot of features. I will continue to use it and discover more.
Disappointing
I downloaded my home course. None of the holes matched the actual holes on the course. All were from some other course. Also, GPS did not update my location or follow me on the course. Finally, the Apple Watch app did not function at all. Nothing worked. Deleted the app and canceled the subscription.
Watch restart
I had the experience while playing that the watch turns off and restarts. Sometimes it may be in a different place in the round and other times it is back to where it was. Not sure if my wrist is hitting a button on the watch? Also I would like the ability to edit on the app to correct these mistakes

Great golf app but latest version eating up battery
I’ve really enjoyed using this app on my Apple Watch. The most recent app updates improve usability still further and I always trust what the watch is telling me. HOWEVER, the latest updates seem to be killing my battery and it’s only lasting 16holes of golf, so around 3hr 30. Was never an issue before so definitely not gradual deterioration of my watch battery. Hopefully this can be addressed in future updates otherwise I won’t be renewing my subscription.

I have tried contacting Tag Heuer Golf via their site, the App Store, and a contact email- none have responded. This is the only app I pay for and it is the only one that doesn’t function correctly. No matter what I’m doing, my watch somehow has a round of golf up and running each day. I’ve resorted to deleting it off of my watch and installing it before my rounds which is incredibly frustrating. I will not be renewing and paying for another year if this issue is not addressed. Update 8/25/22- This is the first and only contact I’ve gotten back from any of the three avenues I’ve attempted. The app has been updated and I am currently no longer dealing with the bug that starts up a round randomly.
No distance to green from layup
Everything is great but I don’t see on my apple ultra watch where I can choose a layup spot and see the distance to the hole from the layup spot. Please let me know if I missed something. Would otherwise purchase the app for the year. Currently in trial

I used this app for years. Best one out there and their customer service is great. I ran into an issue after the latest release and they put in a new release within a couple days. Great job

They went ahead and fixed something that wasn’t broken and now it’s way less user friendly.
A Major Disappointment
I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong but my apple watch is not updating distances on the course and I am not sure how to enter the scores. Tried to find the instructions on line but the only thing you can find is Tag heuer watch instructions (gotta pay 400 bucks plus for that toy!). Tried to call the company, spend 10 on hold, asked for call back, that is yet to happen (has been several hours). I paid for premium service - 39.99 a year. I am starting to think that I bought overadvertised dud.
Where is the manual for Apple Watch
I haven’t used an app for my golf previously and I feel like I’m using a small proportion of the functionality but I can’t find a manual for the Apple Watch app. Surely how to use the app is step 1!!
Beautiful but outdated
Beautiful app - I think the most enjoyable and useful GPS experience on the watch. Only complaint is the course data is many years old (has a hole as a par 3 that’s been a par 4 for 10+ years). Any way to request an update?
